I don't usually comment on UA-cam, but I have to congratulate for the effort and production put into this video eventhough you only have 33 subscribers. That's the kind of effort and talent that, with enough time and even some luck, will get you super far. I can't wait to see what becomes of such a promising channel once you have a bigger audience and therefore better resources. Best of lucks, I'll be following your path to the top :)
Thank you Santiago! Your comment left me speechless. I guess we’ll see where this UA-cam journey goes! Very happy to have you along for the ride! Going to do my best to make the videos as good as I can. Still have a lot to learn and improve but having a lot of fun doing it. Hope to see you around. Thanks again! :)

Thank you for this video! I wanted to mention that not only does a flow state help with productivity, it's incredibly healing to the brain. When we are in flow state our brain can heal in ways that are is usually not accessible to us. I watched a documentary featuring a doctor that has studied flow state for decades, and they did a study once where they took individuals with PTSD and had one group of them go to therapy, and the other group go to therapy as well as take weekly surfing lessons (surfing has a high number of flow triggers). The individuals who went to both therapy and weekly surfing lessons has significantly better outcomes and were able to heal a lot of their symptoms much quicker than the other group. Flow state is one of the most important things we can do to care for our brains
That's amazing! I didn't know that. Do you know the name of the documentary? I'd love to watch it. I wonder how big the impact of being outside/exercising was on the healing process as well? It's seems really common advise for mental health as well right? Surfing combines all of that as well. Funny coincidence, I was literally talking to my girlfriend about how surfing is my favorite sport and wish I could do it more often. Do you surf as well? And if so, have you experienced flow while surfing? And thank you for watching and leaving a super interesting comment!
i really was shocked when i saw ur subscribers number, dude u deserve millions on subs u r providing some high quality and insightful content. good luck 💜
Thank you! Always struggled to see myself as a creative (coming from a law background 😬), but really enjoy getting to know this side of myself. Hope the the points from the video help you! Wishing you all the best! :)
dude just keep going I believe that you are gonna hit thousands of subs in months you're content is useful and to be honest this is the first time I see your Chanelle
Thanks! Will definitely keep that in mind for future video's because it seems like you're not the only one. I'll keep trying to make the video's a little bit better every time!
Nicely done, Marco. May I share a perspective I have perceived in this realm. The feedback item comes not from others, but from the activity itself. In other words, my effort in the activity includes a perception of "how am I doing" (moment to moment) that is coming from the activity itself and directly to me. It is an instantaneous thing. If I am doing the activity with others there is feedback coming from that relationship and it is in addition to the feedback inside of me. Does this make sense?
Makes total sense! I agree. I think internal and external feedback is complementary, and both can be valuable, mostly depending on the circumstances. If you’re stuck on a problem, external feedback may be helpful. Whereas if you’re working - in a state of flow, for example - the internal feedback accelerates learning and can serve as a positive feedback mechanism. The latter one, which I think you’re referring to, is perhaps less of a trigger for flow state, but more of a contributor for staying in a state of flow (for longer)?
Happy to be your 199th Subscriber! Great video, keep em coming! :) I'm currently in a huge state of change in my life as I left a promising career in the trades due to injury and the fact it's not my passion. I'm a street magician by hobby and I am taking this time to try and figure out how to monetize my entertainment skills and grow a social media presence. The first couple weeks I've made some progress but I know there is much much more things to be done! I will follow your channel and see where it takes you! Congrats to all your future success!!!
Similar story! I was working on my second law masters degree and got injured (tendinitis), couldn’t work the hours required (on thesis and as a lawyer) so I started my own IT business. All I would say is, getting money is not the difficult part - there are many ways to earn good money - working on something you’re passionate about is much more fulfilling, but people often fall into the trap of chasing the money (even when they have enough) and spend 8+ hours of their day not doing what they love. Turning your passion into your work - make sure that you keep loving it, don’t push it too hard. All the best in this new chapter of your life! Thank you for subscribing - hope to see you around.
@@meos I started teaching myself how to video edit because I want my magic channel to have a better professional look and I want to be competent enough to be able to freelance and work remotely so that when I travel the world someday performing my magic act, I can have the video editing skills in my back pocket for when things slow down. In one week using DaVinci Resolve, I've taught myself how to cut, add text, zoom, transitions, add a music track and make a thumbnail! Video Editing really is pretty coold to get into! My goal is to be able to freelance in 3 months of consistent, focused learning. What side hustles do you do?
That’s great man! I also taught myself how to edit these past couple of months, also in Davinci. Just upgraded to the Studio version after releasing this video. I also want to travel the world while making videos. To answer your question: I don’t have a side hustle. I’m self employed and had my business for about 5 years. Combining that with some good fortune with aggressively investing in the stock market has made me mostly financially independent. So I just want to give back and hope that making these video’s will somehow have a positive impact on the world. That’s my main goal. I sincerely hope you’ll turn your dreams into reality! Wishing you all the best. 🙏🏻
very nice production and edition for such a small channel! the only thing i would suggest is talking a bit faster, not only to sound more natural, but also people speeding up your videos isnt something the algorithm likes
Thanks for the kind words! Definitely trying to speak a bit faster. English isn’t my first language making it a bit difficult to speak faster - but I’m sure it will improve with more practice. I think it has improved significantly already compared to earlier videos. I’ll focus on it more. Thank you for the feedback! :)
one suggestion i want to give u is, dont use background sound on such videos where you are talking for a long time and which needs attention, it's just very distracting. You must be doing other things right so you've been picked up by the algorithm
Thanks for the feedback! I personally liked it while making this video, but I agree it might definitely be too loud and distracting. You don’t mean the sound effects, but the music that’s distracting, right? I didn’t use background music in most of my previous video’s, simply because I found it hard to find the right balance and find the right music. I’m still figuring all of this out and just trying to get better at it, so your feedback is definitely very much appreciated. I’ll do my best to make the background audio less distracting in future video’s and improve audio quality in general.
Thank you for your comment and concern! I’m not sure about the impact. Did some research into it and the consensus seems to be that it’s generally fine. Perhaps specifically AirPods have higher EMF radiation due to them being split, compared to regular Bluetooth headphones. I’m not sure. For now it seems like the risk is not significant compared to most other radiation we’re exposed to on a daily basis (sunlight, wifi, Bluetooth, etc.). Would love to know more about it though.
Hey man, that can be very difficult. I was never diagnosed but suspected I have adhd throughout my time in university. Everyone’s different and I’m not a doctor, but what really helped me was breaking big goals/tasks down into smaller tasks, and if you get stuck, just work on one of the other tasks. And caffeine, noise cancelling headphones with some non-vocal music (Lofi, classical, ambient, video game, etc) , good sleep, and exercising. I always felt best when I stuck to a regular routine that prioritized good sleep and exercise, so I never consumed caffeine after 1PM or I would be awake until way after midnight. I hope some of that is helpful. Whatever you’re working on - you can do much more than you might think! (P.s. I also loved math when I was younger, very nice to get lost in/flow)
Hello Marco, how are you? I've been watching your videos and I really liked them. Is there a way of contacting you? An email or something? I'd like to offer you something you might like. Let me know if you're interested.
