How to repair Steering Wheel Vinyl

In this video I'm going to show you how to repair your steering wheel vinyl!
1. You need to remove your steering wheel from your car.
2. Inspect what damage you have to repair.
3. If you have more diaper damage you can use vinyl glue or putty to fill deep scratches or torn places.
4. Slowly sand all steering wheel with 300-400-600 grit sandpaper.
5. Before painting clean with wax and grease remover.
6. Mask all parts what you don't want to paint.
7. Ready for painting

How long did you leave it to dry?
And do you need to add a polish coat afterwards?
And would a paint with sponge work as well?

Drying process is very fast
No need to polish
Sponge will work fine, but it's preferable with spray because you will get nice flat surface
