Tracie and I wanted to thank all of you who support us! we also want to thank our production crew! Danny & Crew, the Bluestar Crew for the incredible hard work they put in to the project! ROCKIN A LIFESTYLE! Proud of you ALL!
I came to your shop January it was a pleasure too meet the both of you! I'm still wearing my necklace that I bought!! You guys are amazing can't wait to visit again. Goodluck with the next season!
Chasing dreams just having a monopoly threw his rich father everyday people work harder in twelve hours for scratch than he ever has thru Daddy I notice all they glory is his Bullshit
Craig, you're doing it right! You often reflect back and mention how your Grandad worked hard to get this all started, his initial efforts were paramount in a family legacy that continues to this day. Imagine if you will his enjoyment knowing you are continuing that lineage and passing it down to the next generation. It speaks well of you that you are not simply harvesting the material and focusing on the profit margin. We all know that Mt Antero Aqua is the standard by which the rest of the gem world measures by, but riches can come from more than just money. I envoy you sir.. not only in the awesome finds, but also in handing down a lasting heritage that will be well documented and remembered for a long time to come.. you're doing it right! Take care, Woody.
Woody! That was the greatest compliment anyone had ever gave me. Thank you for the comment. My family past efforts keep me humble, grateful and grounded. Thank you again Woody.
Loved watching seasons 1&2, hopefully a season 3 is around the corner. Amazing job you guys all do. Fingers crossed next season is even better for you x
I have huge respect for the way y’all are harvesting those beautiful crystals. The fact that you are not leveling the mountain with shake charge the way most people would approach getting to the treasure is beautiful. Y’all have respect for the land and are keeping it that way!!! I truly believe that is why your experiencing great rewards! Your love and passion shine as bright as those crystals. Thanks for your respect of Gods creations and keeping beautiful land beautiful. I enjoy watching your success and it’s great to see how you have maintained your humbleness!!!!
I love watching your videos. Aquamarine is my birthstone. Im in California I've beed crystal mining few times. This tho is on another level. Can't wait to see season 3.
I love that is not just about the rock . You show the whole process and also how each person has different goals and passions. Hope you keep hitting those carat goals too.
I've loved watching your seasons, it's incredible to see all the hard work that goes into it. I'd never find a single aqua though simply because I'd forever be looking at that breathtaking view off the mountain.
Came here after watching DALLMYD, and had wished i saw his channel earlier! These vids are treasures! Its my dream to mine crystals.. i wanna experience that.
To a guy stuck in gem-less Minnesota, this show is the next best thing to finding it; what a dream to be the one to pull aquas from the ground. Looks like hard work but a blessed life, thanks for sharing and don't stop making these videos!
@@canadiangemstones7636 We do have some great Superior agates, however, my primary love has always been crystals and a couple other things. I also have many of these agates and precious few of those crystals I prize - I prefer to find them, not buy them since I enjoy the thrill of the hunt!
Its nice to see mining in my old stomping grounds......I grew up and lived in Poncha Springs my whole life....In Az now.....no more shoveling snow and being cold! Thx Folks!
Although I like these when they come out.... I sort of hope for more. It seems like this entire episode was just close-ups of pulling stones out of the oatmeal. Can we get more info on the miners, the selling process, the cutting process... maybe even more about this history of the mountain? Can we have a tour of the specimen collection?
There is no waste. I love that there are multiple businesses created just from the extraction of aquamarine. I am watching & its inspiring. Ideas on what could be done with the leftover material is really limitless.
Just came across this series, and I've thoroughly enjoyed it! I recall seeing you all on Prospectors back when we had cable, and I loved watching then. But this has been wonderful. It really seems like you all run a top notch, caring business!
Emma’s pocket!.. mom and Pops gotta get you back out there ASAP! The look on your face was priceless 😁... You hit it big. Mom and pops are rockin! Way to go team cardwell. I see all your hard work 💯 diggin the vibes❤️
Absolutely love what you guys have going here! I wanna go prospecting here in colorado once the snow clears up. I'm very eager to learn the ways! Stay safe and thank you for sharing your experiences with us all.
Be sure to keep Danny and Crew. Fantastic movie work and content. Hope y'all make some showing more of the what goes on after the weather shuts you off the mountain.
You are the luckiest people I know, I could dig all day, everyday and I don't even have gemstones where I live so I can only imagine the draw here. Such excitement and I love how the Snow Patch and North face have given such success.
I would love to go prospecting there. I hope that you thank the mountains and mumma Gaia and your forefathers and mothers for the gifts given to you. My mum's name was Beryl I've been trying to find some but have only found morganite. Stay blessed.
Oh noo Still so long to wait :/ How about you throw a video or two in the months between how everyone is? Maybe a bit of the shop and processing of the gems?
I'm a broken record by now, but great job. No drama, great leadership, showing trust, fantastic job of a healthy work environment. Please show us the after season reels of screening back at the warehouse, fun to see what is sitting in the tailings!
Awesome awesome wow fantastic score of aquamarine beautiful more knowledge sweet awesome crew what a way to end the season thank you for sharing this adventure
I love this stuff. I own a blue opal claim in Idaho and i would give that up just to move to Colorado and pull some aqua with you guys. Gotta try to get there by next season haha.
Back in the mod 1970's a mining engineering prof at CSM named C. O. Frush mentioned beryllium deposits high up on Mt Antero. I never thought of it again until I saw this video
Hey Chip. My father and Charles Frush were great friends and he helped our family with countless geological reports and field work efforts. Would love to speak with you more if you have time. My email is craig.cardwell@gemclay.com
it seems a PRESSURE WASHER would make sense. The (heated) water could MELT THE ICE. Separate the sandy gravel from the stones. IF YOU CAN GET EXCAVATORS UP THERE, what's a few water trucks for the sprayers ?????
How long does it take a crew member to acclimate to the altitude? It really can be a painstaking job. The decomposing rock really can hide pieces of the Aqua. Like me, I'm sure there are others screaming to the right! You missed one! lol.
There are some folks that can never adjust to it tho. I lived out In Colorado and spent a lot of time in the 14ers out there and it can be rough on some folks and others can adjust in a week or less
I am dying and faced with hard hard decisions I drove to mountians to think. I made fun of a guy for getting mad cuz of all the cars at a 4 way stop and I m sorry I think that's childish I laughed hard and then he followed me for an hour I finally lost him turning on dirt paths off roading. I found rubies cuz I ended up a river bed all dried up. I had a friend with me because it was intense it was crazy. I also found an antique cup made from a 6,000 year old giant clamshell. One the most beautiful days ive ever had. I try hard to find it and I havent found it.
You guys do such an amazing job with this series. Im just confused about 1 thing. Why aren't you guys on actual TV like Gold Rush. I believe you'd do great. But anyways, great work and congrats and a big season.

Oh my god more of a family taking credit of being born rich arrogant probably can’t wipe his ass and never will
This producton was so good I thought it was a Netflix show
That would be because its not overproduced, click-bait, or excessively repeated footage. Isnt it wonderful?!

curious where you are getting the prices for your aquamarine. dude said a 25 carat stone was $200 when aquamarine goes for roughly $675 per carat
The carat price of gems is highly, highly variable. There’s specimen value, and gem value.
