This is just the beginning…. We’re building an off-grid hideaway, earth sheltered, out of sight, and protected from the elements. It’ll look like a forest, but provide extreme shelter. Any good ideas for us??
All i can say is living right ..love the tuff girls .rose the top mom en cook ..dad for been a awsome dad .the whole family be safe .checking out with a big smile .😊
12 years ago you lacked all those beautiful daughters to help you build your new location. Wishing you and your family a blessed holiday season. Peace brother
My 3 Year old daughter with Autism got a kick out of the chainsaw edit. Y'all had her cracking up like no other, Salute on your new camp. Definitely can't wait till the next one.
Good luck guys. We have 90 acres on a beautiful lake, and an 8 km road in, that we have taken over as our driveway so far it is working out, worse comes to worse we will be using our Snowmobiles to get out for fuel and grocery shopping this winter. Wish you all the best folks!
I have watched a few of your videos over the past couple of days, and there is one thing I have to say. Rose has done a fantastic job of raising those girls.
I'm sure the bears would love a Smash Burger too!! 🍔🍔🍔 Do y'all have Grizzly Bears in the area? Besides Jeff and Dave I mean! If you didn't, you will now!! 🤣🤣🤣
I have the smaller minuteman stove and I take it everywhere... camping or not. But the "Maya" sticks (fatwood fire starter) super high quality. Glad you and family are breaking new ground. Love you guys!!!
I have grown to deeply love and admire this family so much. Everything they touch turns into something that is far more valuable than gold. Take care. sincerely, Dean O. :-I
Well it looks like You have found a BERRY Good campsite for this new part of Your ongoing adventure so there will be a lot of people looking forward to many more video's from You and of course I am also one of the people who just don't have enough Gridlessness in their life.
Absolutely love your videos and yes I did get an ammo pouch with a cool note inside. I was mad I didn't use it this year cuz I used my dad 7 mag that I just got back from my brother. I do miss my 300 but I want to shoot something with my dad's gun he's been gone since 2011. But I love your videos. Makes me wish I was a little younger you're taking my dreams as a young man and doing it. If I sold my property right now I could do what you're doing but I don't know if my wife would be into it LOL I bought this property 4 years ago and now it's worth three times what we paid for it! And that could change soon. Anyways love your videos keep them up you have one strong family and one strong team. Love you guys
Looking forward to this amazingly awesome Gridlessness series! The green vegetation and warm weather suspect not October or November. Gridlessness vacation visiting Matt's Off Road Recovery was well earned. Jeff, every Gridlessness adventure is magical.
Wall tent and cots are the kind of things that make camping a real comfort, and a joy to spend even extended periods of time in…..though I still adore my new hammock. Just spent a week in it a few hours north of Montreal. One day I’ll get a wall tent for the family…..hopefully where there are huckleberry bushes. 😀
I just discovered your channel while watching Matt's Offroad Recovery and looking forward to binge watching all the episodes! I'm in the West Kootenay but the northern part of our province has been on my list to explore for years, one day I'll get up there! BTW I've never heard of a pulanski but I do own a pulaski :D
I loved Jeff’s quote from the book of Jeff’s 1st Opinions! I think that quote might have been from Chapter 4, verse 4: Man shall not live by bread alone, but also by Huckleberries shall you survive! (It’s kind of similar to Matthew 4:4) 💙 🫐🍁🌻💪🏽🌲🏕🌊🪵🔥
Hey guys ,this is Gona be so so cool. I love it already !!! Those stoves are awesome....so are smash burgers 😁. Looking forward to breakfast lol. Best wishes from south east Ireland
I got a good belly laugh at the edits when Jeff was trying to start the Stihl. I flooded my saw last night and the frustration is still fresh. haha Thank you for the great video!
I'll bet you aren't using premium gas in your saw. All of the small engines need to have better gas than regular. Would love to help you with develop that land! I'll be looking for something like that to do this spring!
Chainsaw needs new carb. , In the future make sure you use premium fuel in small engines . I have 2 chainsaws with the same problem and one that my son gave me that he bought new and his friend run straight gas in it .
This is approximately my10th video I’ve watched since seeing you guys on “ Tiny Shiny home “ I love them, and just knew I’d love all of you too. I love where you live. I live in northern Az , in between of Flagstaff and Phoenix ( Near Prescott. I’ve enjoyed all you’ve done with your girls, Rose included 😊 Jeff, you’re handsome and look ten years younger without the beard. Just saying 😝
Good stuff! Regarding the reluctant chainsaw, I have had no problems with mine since I switched to alkylate gasoline. Already looking forward to the next episode.
@@donaldhofman5257 Okay then! Alkylate does not eat away on the plastic and rubber materials, such as fuel line and fuel pump, like regular gas does and it doesn't turn into grime if it sits for long periods of time. Also it is not as unhealthy to breathe in. On the down side - it is fairly expensive, but then you may not have to a buy a new chainsaw at regular intervals. I use alkylate for all small engines and it comes in two flavors: four- and two stroke. The latter does not require you to mix in oil. Just pour it in the tank and off you go.
Our Stihl chainsaw did that when we used regular unleaded gas in it for a while. We put some chainsaw specific gas in it from Home Depot and it started right up. Nice video!
I'm going to take a wild guess and say your next video will take place in California and involve a guy named Taku and crab.... It was nice seeing you guys in his video
What you learned that didn't work for your original home stand , will be a tremendous life lesson now. I just bet your confidence is soaring. The laborers are bigger and stronger too, will just require more smash burgers.
my suffering is two sticks & arthritis getting back from the out would be a bit of a challenge nothing worse than wind-filling one's trouser leg to overflowing LOL yes it is often that bad. I will have to be content with what you enjoying yourself may be one day
And has anybody besides me taken a good hard look at these eleventy-seven zillion FANTASTIC videos and figured out the "WHY?" behind the scenes? I'll tell you why. It's because of the ONLY " XY " chromasome creature in the crowd. And it's not JUST that, but moreso that with that chromasomal pair is birthed a VISIONARY. Jeff is a VISIONARY and I recognize that probably better than most, because I'm autistic and that forward-looking, seeing the end before the beginning and viewing life through the mind's eye runs strong among autistic kids. Like Darth Vader said about Luke Skywalker in Starwars, "The Force is strong with this one". You go, Jeff. You got this!
NICE 40 ACRES.... how close to you other parcel? was this filmed a while ago? i would think you would be cold and have snow? in SW Washington we are gearing up.. lol "A" is this the same parcel you where going to do the outdoor class thing?
Congratulations on new land. And Do you brother name Joey he live in Louisiana now and does fishing and UTube. Yall look like twins and so much like each other sounds so much alike. I try to tag him in you videos

Glad your lip has healed up since the drone attack! Great start to the new project. Can't blame you for not wasting those huckleberries, they looked tasty! How do you like that Dewalt saw? I've been thinking about getting one, but don't know anyone who has used one. Looking forward to more videos of your progress.
I love watching you guys videos and I think what you guys do made the kids is great and I would love to get same merge from you guys to support what you guys doing, how do I do that, even how tuff it is made to day rule and regulations. Wild berries are the sustenance placed out there by God.....we just gotta go find it & that makes it worth it. HAHA! Work's filled with misery & suffering, so is disability!
The problem is cheap fuel (probably with ethanol) the fuel boils and the carburetor can't suck it up. I have had the same problem with my quad, just use premium fuel.
