  • This is the final compilation of slow motion tenpin bowling releases, which demonstrates how the pros generate revs to hook the ball. Many thanks to Jani (jantukan channel) for using some of the incredible footage.
    And check out the 8-pin leave at 1:10.
    Featuring bowlers Choi Won Young, Sean Rash, Ronnie Russell and Jeff Carter.

    Choi Won Young throws the biggest hook I've ever seen (besides some no-thumb bowlers)

    Hey Sean, could you get any deeper?
    Oh wait, never mind..hello Mr. Russell >_<
    Those three guys are so steeze.
    That Korean has mad rolls, the guy should be in the PBA!
    Probably is in the K.P.B.A. or something, no doubts!
    Could those guys no shell-down? Really, that is just ridiculous.
    Sean is the best actual tour bowler, he can be a shot-maker when need-be and play straighter. Ronnie only knows one style. "Free Wheeling, baby!" :-)
    Sick video meng, thanks for the U/L!

    The solid 8 and solid 9 are incredible! On the solid 8, the 1-pin hits the 2, deflects back and then hits the 5-pin. The ball never hits the 5-pin. On the solid 9, there is so much power on the ball that the ball continues to move left after hitting the 5-pin. The ball even hits the 8-pin! The ball is supposed to deflect off the 5-pin and hit the 9. The problem is that the pins are too light for the power and speed put on these bowling balls. The USBC has to look into bumping up the weight.

    What is it with the overswing coming way past shoulder height? Ever hear of rotator cuff problems. Poor examples of bowling no matter pro or amateur.

    Rash is a good bowler, but don't you remember the 2011-2012 WSOB where he made like five shows and got 2nd or 3rd in all of them? I know he won the TOC later that year, but truly good shot making will get you 3 or 4 titles, like Jason Belmonte, who should have won the 2011-2012 player of the year.

  • @toddhopfner9711

    Filbert you have to remember in the wsob when he made all five shows he was throwing a DV8 Too Reckless....and a OG DV8 reckless instead of what he had to throw in the finals because they were creating the Hype of there new bowling ball the Brunswick Nexus which later became Ball of the year it's not all about throwing it two handed and only winning a show or two Seans the leading earnings in every wsob that takes A . shot making and B. How to throw the ball versatile on all 5 patterns but just my 2 cents he made every show throwing a DV8 which he wasn't allowed to throw on the show to this day if you bring it up to him he wishes he could have
    Belmonte shouldn't have won it this year but the pba is on there knees sucking his knob because let's face it Only in golf do they care about how much money you make per year and like TW you win player of the year every year

    Belmonte gets his carry from revs not accuracy. If you want to watch someone who actually gets strikes by hitting the pocket watch Walter Ray Williams Jr. Bowl. These guys are all just new school crankers. The sport of bowling has turned into an equipment, angle of entry, and rev rate game. It used to be all about accuracy. Not saying these guys don't have skill just saying shooting a 220+ average used to be a lot harder back in the day then it is now.

    • @JMGavin3rd
      @JMGavin3rd 9 років тому

      i hope your joking, belmonte speed and placement on the board almost never varies. he has masted it, hence his multiple 300 games.

      Their primary skill is ball selection for the lane. You are correct in your evaluation of the once great sport/game of bowling.

    • @pokemon989359
      @pokemon989359 8 років тому

      +Andrew Corbett Have you bowled on any of these shots? Even PBA Regional patterns like Eiffel Tower are extremely difficult, regardless of ball choice. Picking the right equipment and having some power are essential, but shotmaking is still key. That fact is true, regardless of how high the scoring pace is.

    • @The77Game
      @The77Game 8 років тому

      +Andrew Corbett True. And because of the high rev rate of all the new players they have to change the olipatterns and the oil itself in order to make them hold up longer. But it makes it much harder for old school precision players.

    • @Interdicted
      @Interdicted 8 років тому

      +Andrew Corbett you can keep your conservative thinking, but evolution is part of every game, you can tell me how good a basketball player was back in the day, but if you are able to compare side by side the greatest of all times, still the most revolutionized player will have advantage.

    As usual, this guy is typical of today's "bowler". And as usual, he couldn't hang with the scratch bowlers of the fifties, sixties, and seventies... unless it was an eating contest.
