What impresses me so much is these workflows you come up with to make complicated shapes with simple processes. It's really just a different way of thinking.
I have been watching you for a while now. I have started my journey to my dream job - becoming a graphic designer. Your tutorials are so simple and clear that my skills have vastly improved from what they were. Thank you so much
You know I always complain to myself I never actually do your videos. They're the perfect blend of shortish length and technological level that they're exactly what I need to learn inkscape. But today I took the time. followed along did the video and yeah it was beautiful and already I have a better understanding of some of the tools I've only watched you use. 10-15 more of these and I can start working on doing my own simple edits. If I ever get the money I'm definitely taking the master class.
Wow that example pattern looked beautiful! Could be on a shirt or summer dress. Your tutorials are truly valuable! Seriously, I think pretty much everyone could benefit from knowing how to use inkscape and gimp to some extend, not only designers. Being able to quickly put together a little icon or a nice infographic for a presentation or editing some photos etc. are skills that could be really useful for a lot of people both in their private lives and jobs.
Some features changed, but overall, excellent! Thank you for taking the time to publish these!!! A complete beginner like me didn't know where else to look.
The master at work! This was impressive to watch, even though I don't use Inkscape regularly but this makes me want to get better at it. Inkscape is handy for outputting SVG files to use for 3-D printing!
Good presentation. I like that you detail over & over what it takes to create certain things. That way when I'm doing my own design work, I will hear your commands to do a certain action.
huh that was nice trick! thank you for sharing! complicated to do, would not come up with this just by myself .. may be later .. when/if I will get more skilled in it.
Hey Nick, Outstanding! Thank You. I've gone back and started doing your Inscape series which is also outstanding but personally I find your tutorials are easy to understand and I very useful, considering my first POD designs were created in Powerpoint, who needs expensive name brand software?
Nice one Nick. We're still using v0.94 as they removed the snaps from the top bar and we use them in different variations a lot for our work but these tricks will work on even older versions.
thanks for the tutorial but what I want to know is can I use Inkscape professionally for my clients project since i've just started out and Illustrator is expensive
@Nick, in the first leaf you make from the pencil tool. You delete a bunch of nodes from the top edge and make a curve (spline?). If you wanted to use that exact curve as the top edge of the stem is there a way to "copy+paste" or "duplicate" the curve settings from the source nodes onto the target nodes? Thank you.
I dont know why but i don't have those little nodes you had when you were refining the contours of your leaf .. If anyone could answer thank you so much
When I want to size any object, while the aspect lock is on (this is how I generally use it), when I enter the measurement value for width and length, another one changes automatically as the dimension. Why am I having this problem even though the aspect is not locked? Can you help me.
Bro I think it may be display size problem Bcz I normally use inkscape on pc which have a larger screen, everything was fine, but when I used it on Laptop, tabs were not showing, I think this might be due to smaller size of laptop screen
Might be easier to just use Bezier and apply pattern along path (single, stretched) with basic leaf than freehand it with mouse and then repair all of that sloppiness :P Great tutorial as always!
Your tutorials are wonderful. I do have one complaint, though. The dark mode does not work well all of the time, especially when watched on a small screen. On my large computer monitor darl mode works well. On smaller screens, not so much.
I have bought your course but had some PC issues. Long story short I am battling to log in again to the courses. I bought the full packages. Please advise how I can sort out my logins. You can DM me. Kate McCarthy, not sure if you still have a record of my details.
Hello, I don't have this Shape option in Draw freehand lines (Pen tool). There is one like this in Draw Bezier curves tool but it works a bit differently. I'm using Inkscape 1.2.1. Any idea?
Comment is completely unrelated... been following Nick for a while. I am always working on my own logo trying to get something exciting and... I created something pretty cool but... it bothered me that it wasn't original enough. Looking at Nick's I see basically I'd copied his logo and didn't even know it. LOL. Worked on a iff one.
I have a question to all of You: are You experiencing a frequent Inkscape crashes? I have this problem for some time now and it occurs mostly when I'm working with text.
Thank you very much, you taught me everything about vector design and Inkscape since 2020. You’re a really good tutorial maker, you never fail and you rarely hesitate ; it’s good to follow a tutorial made by a professional. It can feel extreme but you really changed my life. Thanks again, Azertyuiop927
Man, I learned inkscape entirely from your free tutorials, thank you
True, me too
Bro
Same here!
I don’t know why this channel is so underrated
It may be some SEO problem.
I have learned a lot from the free stuff also, but I bought the Master Class also. Well worth the money. Awesome job Nick!
Lol then who will buy his paid course😅

I've got my lists in the top right, how I change them to be in the top left, it feels uncomfortable working with them like that, pls help, thanks
Hi Nick, Pls tell me how to export file from inkscape with CMYK color mode and print ready file
i find that using the bezier pen instead of pencil creates a nicer effect with smooth curves.
im struggling to find the *make corners sharp* button. im using inkscape 1.2.1
tnx
Hey Nick , how can I get layout like this 9:52 ?.
Thanks in advance
Please do a tutorial on how to expand the toolbox, tool controls, palette and scrollbars on screen. 🙏🙏🙏

same x) idk what to do xD
As much as I love adobe illustrator, inkscape is catching up.
Sir, please make a vector design with texture on inkscape
is it possible to open a document without borders as the default, every time l open document properties it uses too much real estate
When you open Inkscape, configure it to your liking. Then go to File/save template and check save as default template.
@@CTRL_SMarcos thanks
I beLEAF that this tutorial is very good (im so sorry for this "joke")
Why my inscape's bar look not like yours?
Is this inkscape 1.2?

Hi bro,
As a beginner UA-camr, I’d say that you must also learn SEO To rank your Nice Channel and Videos on UA-cam
I have a question to all of You: are You experiencing a frequent Inkscape crashes? I have this problem for some time now and it occurs mostly when I'm working with text.
Make new videos for Gimp!!
First like, damn
I prefer your video without music.
That's it. I'm going for your masterclass... it's like magic but instead of spells you use math and logic.
Christian Bale, thanks for your tutorial.
how did you come to Inkscape?
What am I doing in this world if I can't even draw a leaf 😭😭
Avoid the background music
It's annoying and useless
you could have made it faster!!
please next time don't use this music effect in the background
