Вставка
- Опубліковано 9 лип 2024
- Today’s tutorial is an exercise in using Inkscape as a tool for tracing, drawing and simulating gradients. Follow step-by-step as I demonstrate how to draw the Firefox logo using nothing but ellipses and the Pen Tool.

The shapebuilder is such a game changer for doing stuff like this. Great video, Nick!
Don't stop making content bro I'm also gonna be enrolling for your course
As a non-designer, this type of recreation work leaves me in awe, such incredible work and tutorial!
Thank you for fixing the nose. That was driving me crazy! 😅😅
I learn so much from you. Thank you for these videos!
Wow Amazing nick !
It's so interesting to see how you're using Inkscape's tools to create the result you want. When I'm working with Inkscape, I often find myself at a loss on how to achieve a certain effect, and seeing a pro like you doing stuff like this is really expanding my horizon.
Glad you find it helpful
Great one! As a little suggestion, the blue ball could maybe have an extra layer with shadow gradients for a darker shade in the below part.
Love how easy you make this look. Thanks for the video, again!
I have been using inkscape for over a year. When i was first watched your video… i think this software will be the best… and now i am using this software for business card, banner design… when i found some difficulties i watched your video…
Honestly your video really helps….
Thanks nick…..!
Keep going…!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great video!
Amazing to see that workflow!
Siempre cae bien un video del gran Nick Saporito❤, gracias por enseñarnos tanto y hacer que amemos Inkscape, saludos.
Another great vid, thanks, as ever. I know I must be getting better as I don't have to stop the vid quite so often to catch up! 😆
Hallo Nick. I have a topic suggestion:
Resources for formulae to use in the Extensions >> Render >> Parametric Curve tool and Function Plotter tool. and applications for them in graphic design.
I have been using them to create guilloche backgrounds and other ornamentations for documents. I feel I am not using these tools to their fullest potential though.
Thank you for creating such slick tutorials. If only other youtubers would be so quick and clear in their productions.
ciao, Molly j.
Fantástic!
Love the Firefox and it's logo. Thanks!)
By the way, why we called it "logo"? There's no logos - words.
It's short for "logotype," meaning "word symbol." I suspect in the beginning, most included words and over time the word was applied to symbols only as well. Many words have evolved from their original meanings.
I have to say you are so familiar with this program. You work so fast.
Super nice tutorial! Thank you!
Fantastic, thanks for the video. Min 11:29 approx. That double difference + break appart operation is now simplified with path / flatten. I only say that because it's good to take advantage of the new tools.
Super!
100th like! You're so helpful, thank you!
Another really great tutorial!
I wish for a feature to show tangencies when adjusting nodes.
Awesome turorial. Thanks!!
awesome
Hey Nick, could you create a tutorial on how to make a waving flag in Inkscape? A while back, I attempted to design a flag with text using path effects, but I was completely defeated in the process.
Thank you nick for these tutorials. these are really helpful
but I am facing problem when I add stroke it creates stroke with empty space.
2nd when I type text it writes from top to bottom.
3rd when I put text on a path letters are noy evenly spaced.
Please guide me how should I fix these. I'm using 1.3 version
Do you think you will be making any more tutorials for GIMP after the 3.0 release?
I'll definitely have a look at it but I don't see myself making GIMP tutorials any time soon. Vectors are my lane and I've been trying to stay in it for the most part.
Does anyone know how to change eye color in inkscapes from image? 👀
I have a logo and I would like to know how to make this kind of logo with inkscape. I could take it as my profile then you can see which logo I mean.
