Great to know that you loved your dad so much, bet he was a great man and it's obvious to see you work on a lot of his old projects and you work in his honor, God Bless you for what you do.
Enjoyed the video Mr Chad, Trials and hardships in life just make us stronger, no matter how small or big they are. You saying that your daddy was your hero is flat out awesome.
His Dads shop was well used as you can tell by all the scars on that steel bench. If the walls could talk I bet they'd say what a remarkable man he was. Awesome !
Great video.. I was 13, when my Daddy could not get a tire to seat.. Lived in a small town, very close to you.. The man in the little tire shop told my Daddy.. " You might want to put the kid in the car. He should not see this". Daddy trusted me. Well we learned that either was used in ways, other than starting diesels... Saved a lot of future trips to the tire shop... lol The good ole days..
Great content, I loved it when your mom came out to make sure you were okay. Your dad was a special person and taught you a lot about what you do. You are so lucky to have him as a teacher. My dad left when I was two years old and never came back.
As someone that use to moto only 2 stroke bikes back in the day this content is amazing! Absolutely loved the ridin’ part of the video. Nothing like the sound of an old two smoke!💨
I raced cross country in Texas for 25 years and now I’m going on 68 so I’ve pretty much quit but I still have my KTM 530 that I just completed gone through it and I’m planning on doing some trail riding this spring but i enjoyed the video and it brought back some great memories.
If there's one aspect of you videos that keeps coming back, it's that every car, motorcycle, tire or any part seems to be fighting back. I admire your perseverance, keep it up! (and by the way, you're not copying Vice Grip Garage or whatever channel, you're you, and please never change that!).
When I hear a two stroke of that era I get goosebumps and can smell the exhaust. So many great memories of riding by myself and with friends and my dad. Good to hear about your dad. Bless you and thank you!
So many things to say here….seems like the older you get the more a man find out, you’re more like your dad than you realize. From your stories about him, we can tell you had a great one. I could hear it in your voice, and I get it cause I lost my dad in 2004. I miss him every single day. Feel the exact same way you do. Your dad lives on through you, and we get to know him, and his sayings, because of you. Tell momma to keep on doing her thing too. I had to listen to that part a few times, that was great. Look forward to the next video!!!
Well Said indeed, gets me emotional a bit on account I’m going through it now with my Dad @ 80 with failing Health. Thank the Lord each Day He’s still with us, I know my Mom at 82 will likely grieve herself to Death that usually the way it goes. Not looking forward to it but knowing Men like yourselves had gotten through it and the Lord will not put on me more than I can Handle.
👍What a fantastic video ! As the opening credits rolled I found myself saying, "what kinda trouble is Chad in for this week" . The 3 corner tire- shops refusals were the first indicator that we were in for another wild ride from This N That Garage. I often wondered if you were working out of your fathers garage, and then we heard from dear Momma wanting to know what in the world you were blowing up this time. I'm glad you left that in the video, God bless her heart and fathers too. Just another added element of quality content from This N That Garage. Augh -Ya ! 😎 Something dawned on me during the latter portion of the video. I feel the curse of the MLS is not a curse at all, and rather the secret weapon to your future success. The shear value in overcoming each and every obstacle is not only a dopamine rush for us viewers at home, but it's an overall victory when you persevere by the end of the video. 🎤"You battle MLS with a chuckle and a grin, and what's worth doing once is worth doing over again & again & again." 🎤 Love the smell of a 2 stroke.... The onboard and still camera footage at the end was absolutely wonderful and I'm happy that it brought back some memories of 💯lbs ago.. Thanx Chad Great channel !
I thought we Germans were tenacious and perseverance in task. I commend you sir for your knowledge of motorized vehicles, which far exceeds mine, and your willingness to take on any project where others would never dare to go. Again, I salute you!
Love this channel. I look forward to your new videos every Friday. I couldn't ask for anything better, it's my Friday night episode to sit back, relax and enjoy. The only thing I never liked about 2 strokes is the noise. You can't argue the performance though, flippin' neat stuff. Thank you again for another wondeful hour of top quality entertainment sir :)
Wow that sound take me back to all those rides when I was younger. Nothing like a cooler strapped to the back and the sound and smell of a 2 stroke ripping through the woods on a Sunday afternoon.
Being here in England the LT are very very rare here I've been looking for a decent one for years very hard to come by and when they sell for stupid money Love the build and content thank you 🇺🇲💪👍
I can easily see that your dad taught you Love, Honor and Respect along with Perseverance Keep up the great work no matter what the MLS may be, I fight the HLS 24 hours a day 7 days a week 52 weeks a year Looking forward to seeing your next video Thank you for your awesome content in videos
Mr. Chad, tearin it up in them wooded trails! We never truely grow up, for our inner child will always prevail! I have so much respect for you my brother! My father passed away on Friday the 13th in March 2020. It has been almost 3 years now. I talk to him almost every day. I lost my sister in 95' at the age of 29. The love never goes away, because like you, me and my father were best friends! Those lessons we were taught from a young age carry us around for the rest of our lives, and they are priceless.
Always good to laugh with you , you never hide your mistakes ,and always show everyone so we don't do the same thing . I always had a tin or jar with nuts bolts and washers left over after a rebuild so I know how it feels ??? . Your Mom came out to see that you were Ok when she thaught you were in trouble , and your Daddy must have been a very special man . Your videos are all clean and wholesome which makes watching them so much fun . God Bless till next time , Stuart in Ontario..........
Hello from Oklahoma👋 you dear sir are a good man! Thank you for being you.!!! You put a smile on so many faces. Dont worry about the negative people put before you. That's all this world knows now days. Those people just don't know what to think about a true good hearted person who just likes to stay positive and laugh about things . Anywho thank you for being you kind sir. Thank you for the smiles. I truly find myself smiling through all your videos 🤜🤛
Some kids never grow up…ain’t it great! 🤣 You just amaze me with your mechanical knowledge, the way you troubleshoot and don’t just go buy a bunch of new parts shows your experience. 👍 God bless 🙏🏼🇺🇸
Hey Chad - the Suzy 2 stroke should be the quickest of the line - in a drag. 2 stroke power is really just amazing pity that bikes are mainly 4 strokers today. Keep em coming.
Great video!! I busted out laughing when you broke the bucket. Did you take an extra spark plug? Surprised you didn't lose your hat. (or did you not just show it?). I think the go cart will win.
Enjoy your videos ,You do have a interesting selection of things on the farm that your Dad had I loved the old doodle bug you worked on quite some time ago Like to see you work with that again
Hello again from the UK, I had the pleasure of riding a motorcycle from London Ontario to South Carolina, I remember sitting in a cafe somewhere near the The Tail of the Dragon, we were eating lunch when a couple of local guys joined us, we were all speaking a version of English, it was warm and friendly banter, everyone on trip we met were fantastic and I will always have fond memories of the people we met. don't let people try to compare you to other channels, you are unique, no swearing, or inflated ego, and not sponsored up to the eyeballs, please don't change a single thing, your videos are never too long . enjoy the accolades and ignore the fools that criticise you.
It was good watching you get your 4-wheeler back in order and running proper again. I always loved watching a content so with that said how about wearing some eye protection going through the woods 🤔 with that MLS you're bound to put an eye out 😂 keep up the great work Chad 👍✌️🇺🇲
Anyone who has a half a brain in their head knows that you don't copy Anyone else...We who had great Dad's will always carry their memories in our hearts by using their words ..tools..phrases...Anyone who criticizes you ...Never had what we were blessed with . .Pity them because they will never know...the joy we know...
Love the 2 strokes, there's no power like em,had plenty in my day would love to have that 250r but lord knows I can't afford one,so I'll live vicariously through you buddy great series buddy keep them coming
My Dad taught me way back when I was a Youngun ..when the the head of the hammer starts to slide off ..turn the hammer upside down and take another hammer and give it a few taps on the bottom of the handle and the head will slide back onto the handle
I had a Yamaha 500cc dirtbike from 1986 for 10 years and love that sound from that engine , when i saw you ride on your 2 stroke brought a lot of memory 's back 👌🏻👍🏻. And its only good when you have funny and good weird stuff from your dad and grow up with that , i have the same thing and nowe i am mutsch older i looking more on him ( speaking & the look ) and that makes me only proud and gives me good feeling and keeps him in my heart .Thanks for sharing that and its was a great video, regards from Holland 🇳🇱.
You should have just taken a sawsall or cutting tool of ur choice and just cut the old tiers off and been done with it, I've had to do that a few times and then just put the new ones on.. lol, maybe next time...

Well pops I ended up buying a hardor frait tire changer. Worked fantastic. Until I broke it. So just like you pops. I welded better metal on to it. And made my own. With your skills. Get the design and Make one. But keep up the great work.
Don't feel bad.... You ain't alone. You battle that MLS; I battle RLS. *Every* day. Was bitten by it several times, today alone, working on an '86 G30 Box Van. But, yeah, like I said, it's pretty much every day. Feels like a curse, I swear.
Something simple and genius somebody showed me years ago, if you can't get a wheel off a car, loosen up the lug nuts and take a short drive swerving back and forth.
ill tell you how to break a bead on those small tires .. get yourself a old bumper jack from a car and use the foot of the jack to break the bead .. works every time cool vid!!
I spray the ether across the torch like a flamethrower to light the tires… probably not any safer but it’s fun😎🤣. Cool old quads will always be timeless.
I learned to break those bothersome little tire beads on UA-cam. Put a 2x6 on the small tire and drive up the 2x6 with your truck. Its effortless. Gret repairs sir!! A 250 two stroke is a handful and so much fun.
ROTFLMAO! LORD HAVE MERCY! Momma yelling Chad you all right? Man that brings back memories of me putting a new distributor in my 440 Dodge Polara and forgetting to hook the coil wire back up...well when I discovered that after many cranks I plugged it back in his the key and the explosion was BIBLICAL! Blew both mufflers open like sardine cans! LOL!
I always enjoys your rebuilds on what ever you are fixing MLS don't worry I have the same problem ,keep smiling and keep laughing as you make laugh and make my day
you call it the woods , we had the field,, mini - bike , honda trail 70 , and honda trail 50 and sometimes a 125 yamaha it was quick , well there are condos now , while you get to ride in the same place , that's just got to feel magical.,,,,,,thanks this one made me feel good
When popping the bead with starting fluid, pull the stem core and have it supply air, you won’t need as much spray and better air mix. The bead will catch better too. Lol I see you got it that way later in the film!👍. Happy to see the bbbrrrraaaaapppp is released again!
Hi Chad, consider investing in a manual bead breaker. HF sells one relatively cheep. i had some metal on hand so just made one. either way, having one around makes life easier
Enjoyed the video very much. One of the main reasons I love watching you is cause you remind me so much of myself. My Daddy and I had the same luck as I was growing up, he even bought me a t-shirt that said “Story of my Life” it had a guy on an island by himself and another island across the way with lots of pretty women and sharks swimming in between the islands lol. It was my favourite t-shirt growing up. Anywho don’t change a bit and just ignore the negativity, keep ‘em coming!
Setting an old brake drum on the ground and setting the rim on it helps to break the bead. Stops the rim from bouncing and saves some frustration haha that thing sounds pretty good
Well after all that MLS you certainly seemed to be enjoying yourself ya mad bugger. I was in stitches when you were wrestling with thos tyres, best laugh I`ve had in a while. Take care Chad.
I have MLS as well and I'm not even a part of your family! I can't ever just work on something and everything just go good. Doesn't matter what it is. Like you I work on a bit of everything.
Hi Chad that four wheeler is fast very fast one thing I must say and that is Miss Daisy enjoyed that running around with you chasing your wheels good stuff my good man God bless you sir
Mama holering "Lord have mercy " is the best. Lol. Keep being you and take care of mama.
😂 She didn't want me to put that in the video!
Great to know that you loved your dad so much, bet he was a great man and it's obvious to see you work on a lot of his old projects and you work in his honor, God Bless you for what you do.
The sound of a two stroke alone brings me back to my childhood riding around the woods with a Kawasaki KX80. Thanks for the video!
Awesome !

That was so funny when Mom came out. Lol. That's just what my mom was like. God bless.

Hey Chad - the Suzy 2 stroke should be the quickest of the line - in a drag. 2 stroke power is really just amazing pity that bikes are mainly 4 strokers today. Keep em coming.
Looked like a hoot to ride around on that, probably twice the fun after you got it running yourself.
Great video!! I busted out laughing when you broke the bucket. Did you take an extra spark plug? Surprised you didn't lose your hat. (or did you not just show it?). I think the go cart will win.
I really liked the video bud. Great job on the rebuild. And the wheeler sounds and runs awsome... keep your videos coming. I look fwd to them.

Now that I have a bigger phone with stereo speakers, I can watch the way you recorded it.
Awesome. It's even better watching it on tv.
Very responsive and the power bands kick in real quick
Enjoying this. In fact, after watching your previous video last Saturday, I went out and picked up an 89 250 Quadracer.
Awesome! 👍
Nice rebuild!
That thing sounds like a big angry chainsaw in the woods...
👍👍👍
Got to love a 2 stroke. As usual, another funny and entertaining video. Looking forward to the next adventure you allow us.
Loved this series. Wish I was riding down there with ya. Get those yellow 2 strokes screaming thru the woods together be a blast
It was good watching you get your 4-wheeler back in order and running proper again. I always loved watching a content so with that said how about wearing some eye protection going through the woods 🤔 with that MLS you're bound to put an eye out 😂 keep up the great work Chad 👍✌️🇺🇲
Reminds me of when I was a teenager in the 70's. We had dirt bikes and would ride all over N.Texas area. Man, we had some good times!!!! 😆

Great video as always, nice spending a Friday night watching you having fun on a four wheeler.
My Dad taught me way back when I was a Youngun ..when the the head of the hammer starts to slide off ..turn the hammer upside down and take another hammer and give it a few taps on the bottom of the handle and the head will slide back onto the handle
That wasn't the problem. The handle broke!

Awesome video by my friend Chad.
Hearing you mother come out and checking was priceless. Definitely made me laugh.
Love the story about your dad and all the different wording, keep it up brother! Oh and thank you for honoring the lords day also!

Hello Holland! 👍👍
Its nice to know Im not the only one with bad luck syndrome. Daisy looks to be such a lovely dog.
You should have just taken a sawsall or cutting tool of ur choice and just cut the old tiers off and been done with it, I've had to do that a few times and then just put the new ones on.. lol, maybe next time...
I wasn't even on the thing and it brought back memories of northern Minnesota and my Yamaha Enduro and Honda 185 three wheeler. I'm surprised I never broke any bones on either one of those two.
Awsome effort as usual chad,i miss my hero as well, alas.
👍
👍 have fun & be safe riding
Bud you don't have to explain your self to anyone that is disrespectful to you or your family. Keep up your good work
Well pops I ended up buying a hardor frait tire changer. Worked fantastic. Until I broke it. So just like you pops. I welded better metal on to it. And made my own. With your skills. Get the design and Make one. But keep up the great work.
Hi, all I wanted to say is if you do another quad you should do a Polaris trail-boss those things are so easy to work on.
Let the haters hate, this is a great channel , I always look forward to seeing what you're working on and see miss Daisy.
A great late-night visit from Miss Daisy... the engine sounded really good with quick throttle response right off the bat.
This is why i finally bought a cheap tire machine and balancer! First job was a set of 4 wheeler tires for my boss.
Always enjoy your videos
Well done on getting it running good. Looks like you were having lots of fun in hte woods.
Don't feel bad.... You ain't alone. You battle that MLS; I battle RLS. *Every* day. Was bitten by it several times, today alone, working on an '86 G30 Box Van. But, yeah, like I said, it's pretty much every day. Feels like a curse, I swear.

That thing rips! Great Video!
Something simple and genius somebody showed me years ago, if you can't get a wheel off a car, loosen up the lug nuts and take a short drive swerving back and forth.
Loved this. Hope you get the race between them all.
ill tell you how to break a bead on those small tires .. get yourself a old bumper jack from a car and use the foot of the jack to break the bead .. works every time cool vid!!
With MLS in full force, I had a few tense moments when Chad was going back n forth with the open flame torch and the either bottle hand-offs. 💣 🧨🔥 🤣🤣🤣
A tire machine barely broke these off. Been on the wheel a long time.
Oh man, the neighbours must be just loving you. :)
I spray the ether across the torch like a flamethrower to light the tires… probably not any safer but it’s fun😎🤣. Cool old quads will always be timeless.

I miss those things! Now I’m too old and sore and too many bills to pay to play on them anymore.
Fun one for sure
You can use a scissor jack and a car to break those down
Not when an actual tire machine barely broke them down. Been on there many many years!
The few times I’ve messed with atv or lawn mower tires I always figured it was well worth taking them somewhere and getting them changed out…..
Hi Chad that four wheeler is fast very fast one thing I must say and that is Miss Daisy enjoyed that running around with you chasing your wheels good stuff my good man God bless you sir
