- Keanu Reeves talked to “Extra” at the NYC special screening of “John Wick: Chapter 4.” In addition to dishing on the new film, he praised fellow action star Tom Cruise and spoke about the possibility of an onscreen team-up. Keanu also reacted to the news that German scientists named fungus-killing bacteria after him! Plus, he clarified the meaning of the Rolex watches he gifted his stunt team with the inscription “The John Wick Five” - which some thought might allude to a fifth movie. “John Wick: Chapter 4” is in theaters March 17.

@@acutelilmint8035 he shot up in the early 90s, tapered off a little then blew up again with matrix, tapered off again in late 2000s then had a massive resurgence in mid 2010s. Cruise on the other hand has never had a major downturn.
Tom was HUGE in the 80s bro..in the 90s he was alrdy a Superstar.

Love how he says I don't do stunts, stunt people do stunts.. I do action and as much as I can. Always gives a shout out to the people who help make the movie happen even when the interviewers are just trying to pander to the star. He seems to always deflect the ego massage approach many of them have.

Keanu is so humble. Giving the stunt actors their credit, praising a guy like Tom Cruise for all that he does, he made the interview about OTHER people who made these things possible. That's the kind of guy he is.
And to see them working side by side in an action film together would be amazing. And I know they would both work with each other well and play with each other's strengths.

I think Keanu Reeves is very humble and generous, and he deserves the recognition he gets. It would be cool to see him team up with Tom Cruise in a movie someday. As for the Rolex watches, I guess he was just being nice to his stunt team and not hinting at anything else.🙂
