The fact that Tom cruise is 60 year old and he is doing this kind of stunts is simply amazing
See how nervous the director was when Tom did the jump.

Tom Cruise is 60 years old and still doing stunts like this to make, not only this film, but most of his action films as exciting and believable as possible for the audience. That's dedication and the definition of fearlessness. His love for the craft is one of the main reasons the majority of his action/adventure films are successful.
He's a kid, he's only 60!!!!
Serious, what about Jackie Chan?
Yea, most actors would hesitate saying "so is there a reason the character is doing this? Shouldn't I be aware of any reason at all a secret agent would do something like this?"
Not Tom! Nope, he's 60! He doesn't let stuff like story structure hold him back! No sir!
Jackie Chan did it better

No one will ever accuse Tom of being lazy or lacking of guts. Incredible!
Like he said "I could hold on to the motorcycle longer" He should have!
And his surprisingly useful appearance despite his age! Lol
His warmup for the stunt was jumping out of a helicopter. That would have been a crazy stunt in and of itself

@@liamphibiaTom Cruise looks his best with this hair length and hairstyle. Just like in "Mission: Impossible" 6 or 7, or in the two "Jack Reacher" movies, or in the "Top Gun" movies. Dude is a bonafide, real life action hero, seriously, and a much better actor than any in the same genre. The dude is an enigma by nature as far he stays committed to do whatever it takes for his audience, yet still seems very humble and appreciative of those he works with and his fans. Six times was just the movie takes. He rehearsed all those times before!
Now THAT is how you promote your movie. And also make it believable and thrilling, thanks Tom and team for making this all possible!
and not impossible!
Tom Cruise is a Beast
Consummate professionalism has always been exhibited by Tom Cruise. 🇨🇦
What I love most about Tom Cruise is his love for filmmaking and the love for his fans. They released another video for the upcoming “M:I - Dead Reckoning” and all he kept doing was thanking the fans for continuing to support him by going to the theaters. He was just so humble. I can’t see why anyone sensible could hate this man…
And no body does chill.
scientology is why sensible people dislike him. I have no opinion on him, just explaining why people dislike him.
He is fantastic, but I don't think anyone will ever understand how such an obviously intelligent guy bought into the whole scientology thing. Also, bizarrely, many people attack him because he's not tall enough for their liking, which is frankly shallow and pathetic.
@@AlmarWinfield Yeah, that's his big no-no for me. Tom is an amazing artist, perhaps even an amazing person in general (we don't know him in private) but his whole connection to Scientology makes him unlikeable for me. I respect him as an artist but that's it.
Stupid Scientology!!
The fact that Tom Cruise is over 60 years old and old enough to be a grandfather and doing these kind of crazy stunts with such commitment to his craft is truly amazing.
He's already 10 years into being old enough to be a grandfather.
He will be grandfather in 9 months if his daughter Isabelle gets pregnant and give birth to a baby in next 9 months. Isabelle is already 30 yrs old at this stage many women's are already mother take shophie turner she become mother at 24 and Emma roberts become mother 2 yrs ago at age of 30. So people in industry become mother at around 30 she can also be so would tin cruise be grandfather.
Wow that’s extraordinary.
Greetings from Tom cruise👋 thanks for your care, support and love you show through your comments and likes i'm so grateful to entertain you❤
Where are you watching from?
Tom is a LEGEND!!!!
Smile, thanks for your love and support towards me ❤
In the age of digital art ,bluescreens and Ai editing, it's amazing how Tom simply sticks to doing these crazy things to entertain us. He is truly a master craftsman. The end product never dissapoint ,i mean Top Gun Maverick. Wow, what a masterpiece. I'm looking forward to this new one. it's going to be Epic.
I agree but also think he “sticks to doing these crazy things” because he’s a little cuckoo in the head 🤪 and it’s like a big kid playground for him. Man definitely deserves props for the energy and time he puts into his films. After watching this, he’s a class act by my book and I will watch his films with renewed admiration knowing all the work that goes into these stunts.
No one else could actually afford to do this. This would be way too much money and danger for any production with an A star on the bike.
what a legend he is man. 10/10
We live in a day and age where everything costs so much, and most of us have very little free time. It's like Tom Cruise is one of the few people in Hollywood who understands this and is like, "Hey, if you're choosing to spend your hard-earned money and your precious free time on my product, then I owe it to you to give you the absolute best product I possibly can!" Wish more people felt that way.
1- We are living in abundance unprecedented in human history, thanks to technology. A loaf of bread costs you much cheaper than it used to cost your grandparents. 2- If you can come on UA-cam and write comments on a movie’s stunt work video, you’re not as busy as you think.
@@jeffmorrison2915 What are u talking about? Dunno where you from, but in my country and the mayority of the countries in my continent people struggles to earn enough money just to eat. 2 or 3 people in every home working 12 hours a day just to get to eat something, they will never own a land or a house, they will never travel around the world, most of this people cant even afford a 2 weeks local holidays once a year.
But our fathers and grandfathers where able to buy a house, a car, feed and raise 5 o 6 kids with just one basic salary. But now 3 people working all day cant even buy food. So when you are talking about abundance you must be talking about the rich people, in that case you are right. The rich people now are a lot more richer than 50 or 80 years ago.

The absolute dedication to filmmaking is really inspiring. Imagine if everyone was as dedicated to their craft as Tom is. Brilliant.
Agree, say what you want about him, but this many LOVES his job and he leaves 150% of himself on screen every single time. It is inspiring really. And the payoff is sitting on the edge of your seat knowing that's actually him doing this. For real. Whatever ridiculously insane thing they've dreamed up. Not only is the action incredible, but they manage to make it look so stunningly beautiful at the same time.
They could've just done it with cgi, but man, what a dedication of Tom Cruise.
@@spidergoblin. Why do with CGI what you can do for real and make real?
@@mratlas3364 Because the risk of death or injury isn’t worth it? I admire Toms dedication to his craft but not everyone cares enough about their job to do death defying stunts and that’s OK. As long there are individuals like Tom to set the bar then we have the inspiration but that doesn’t mean we have to be as dedicated as him, to do all of this with no permanent damage is nothing short of a miracle and there would definitely be a lot of deaths or injury if everyone wanted to be Tom Cruise.
@@OneWholeMarijuana He's saying if the actors/stuntman are fine with doing these stunts, why do CGI?
tom cruise is amazing
He is most probably the most hardworking and fearless actor in hollywood history. Crazy Tom.
True Tom is the goat. 💜
Who do you think is more famous between Tom Cruise and Anna Faris?
To create a franchise that could beat James bond one day you need passion and you need Tom Cruise. Mind Blowing. Hats off to you and your team
@@YBehri what?
@@MRJMXHD im guessing he doesn't like black, women and gay people
Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt makes James Bond look like a pussy!
I think MI series surpassed Bond somewhere around Ghost Protocol and since then it's been far better. Comparing for example Specter and Rogue Nation, both from same year, makes it pretty clear what's a superior series nowadays.
Honestly i think at this point MI movies are what 007 dreams to become.
30 jumps a day 500 sky diving 1300 bike jump.. 6 times same stunt to get best capture omg ..love n respect for this Guy

He actually did it 2 times the next day so 8 total times! 😮
13 000* bike jumps
at age 60. KEEP THAT IN MIND.
Correction: 13,000 not 1300 bike jumps!
That's why Academy should have a special category for "Stunt Performance". They may say that it's not art but in fact, it IS art in its own way. And the real actor like Tom Cruise or stunt men/women risk their life to create a breathtaking cinematic action scene IS a pure art that shouldn't be taken lightly.
Thank you Tom for your relentless dedication and passion for your film making!!!
Absolutely incredible. And one has to wonder during the years of planning for this how he pulled off Top Gun Maverick as well? Truly impressive and gives all of us past 60 motivation to push even harder. Thanks Tom Cruise for all you have done to make your movies worth watching and being so true to your craft.
This top gun maverick wast the best movie that I ever watched

The problem with making this all about TC you have to immediately address concerns about the fact that he is benefitting from leading a massive cult. Make it about the film and the team, not about one employee with questionable concerns about his fellow Hoomans.
@@lawjef dont care
@@lawjef so? Leonardo de Caprio is a part of the climate activist Greta cult? And don’t forget about all other actors who is joining political cults and share their political shit on social media… while TC focus to entertain.
