- Keanu Reeves is remembering his “John Wick: Chapter 4” co-star Lance Reddick. “Lance is, was, a really beautiful person and a special artist. He had such a grace and dignity about him, and I think he brought that to the role in ‘John Wick,’” he told Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans at the Lionsgate “John Wick: Chapter 4” premiere in partnership with Hard Rock International. The action star gave a sweet shoutout to his “Speed” co-star Sandra Bullock and admits what it would take for the two to get back together on screen. “John Wick: Chapter 4” hit theaters March 24.

What's sad is he obviously won't be in the fifth movie but could have had they went with the original plan to film John Wick 4 and 5 back to back. I think John Wick 4 was completed in 2021 as it was originally set to release around then. I would imagine John Wick 5 would have been completed by 2022 and then they could have released John Wick 4 with John Wick 5 a year later and then they could have had their break from the movie. It was a mistake by Keanu for wanting to wait if the audience would love it. Why wouldn't they love John Wick 4. This was at least the second best from all four movies and I could imagine John Wick 5 with Lance would have been great too. Without him, the movie just won't be the same. I wish they just went along and filmed five right after four. Especially since the first three movie is based within a couple of weeks apart. So he would have to look the same age throughout and now he's getting old it'll be harder

I have my own scripts and novels that aren't written on napkin lol. However, I am not sure how Keanu would feel about working on a protect about human evolution and angels. However, to complete the role, he'd have to work with Sandra Bullock once again.
If there is a Speed 3, most likely, it could come out next year. I would bet possibly June 10, 2024. It'd make sense for Speed 3 to come out at that time as that would mark the 30th Anniversary of Speed's theatrical release.
It does get me wondering if Keanu would be able to pull off dangerous stunts in Speed 3 as he did 30 years ago because those stunts in the 1st movie such as jumping onto the bus from the Jaguar & trying to disarm a bomb underneath the bus both at more than 50 mph were 100% real & done by Keanu himself. No strings attached, no green screen/CGI & no stunt double present. Keanu & Sandra are already at the age Dennis Hopper was when Speed was being filmed.
Speaking of Sandra Bullock. I personally want to see Sandra Bullock in a future John Wick Sequel possibly portraying a love interest to John Wick since the John Wick character is widowed since the 1st movie.

It’s hard to imagine what story they can come up with for a Speed 3 but if Keanu is going to return I know it will be decent at best. I mean after all he was smart enough to turn down Speed 2 and he knows that Sandra really regretted being in it so I know it will have to be of some good quality if Keanu participates. Hopefully we get one more. I love the first one, I don’t hate #2 like most people do but I definitely dislike it and he was smart not to return for it.
Lance you had me fooled. Who plays Charon - the concierge at the Continential? I think its some new actor from either the UK or somewhere in Africa. Last time an actor had me fooled, it was Andy Kaufman's alter ego Tony Clifton.
