Anyone reading this, doing 1-60 with your command missions on a tank: Use 2 Arcanists instead of archers. You can do huge pulls since they heal and their aoe is not only stronger than the archers (atleast in my experience), but its also passive, so they can heal while dpsing everything down. My avg. dungeon time was ~11 minutes with this.

In trusts: The Crystal Exarch can take on any role. I've been having trouble keeping track of what he's doing as a paladin and black mage, but it is very dissimilar to what Thancred and Y'stola are doing. As a white mage it's easy to see whenever you are the tank. As a white mage: He uses mostly if not only direct healing. No barriers. No regens. Just BIG healing. And yes, some of them are instant. And yes he will wait for you HP to get lower than any other healer will wait before healing you. He deals the most damage. But he has no damage buff. If you want runs to end faster as a tank, he is the best.
Or if you just want to test out the different roles you can go as SCH/SMN and a tank of your choosing. I leveled my DRG alongside my SCH figuring that tank would be easier to power up later. Turns out that I actually really enjoy DRG, despite being a healer/support in every other MMO.
I was getting burned out when leveling my 1st alt class by doing duty roulettes and doing levels while I waited ,so this video helps a lot, thank you. 🤗
I just wanted to give my 2 cents about the command mission part of this video. From what i've discovered, the best combination of classes for the group is Marauder/Conjuer/Arcanist/Arcanist and just replace one of them with yourself depending what job you are on. Put all of them except the tank on offensive tactics, and put the tank on balanced. The Carbuncles the summoners have do absolutely unreal amounts of damage and when I was leveling my Dragoon I was able to clear The Vault in under 13 minutes without pressing any buttons besides ordering the AI who to attack. The summoners themselves do absolutely garbage damage, but they spam Physick alongside the healer, allowing you to pull huge amounts of mobs while the carbuncle and the tank do all the work. The tank can also spam their defensive cooldowns with no cooldown sometimes. I've had the Marauder use Holmgang 3 times on 1 pack of enemies. I fully recommend using arcanists over archers. They don't have to be near melee range to aoe, all of their aoe comes from a pet and not themselves, and for that reason they are able to cast Physick more, which allows you to have the tank pull bigger.
When using Trusts: Ryne - She will inflict vulnerability debuffs on an enemy. She's the best option if you are a DPS. Alisiae - She will always use the limit break. Take her if you are not a DPS. Y'st - She is the only one who does AoEs, even though it's incidental. Why? Because it's what Foul does. Alph- His carbuncle attacks. He uses barriers. Uri- He uses healing over time. He has stronger attack buffs. Thancred- Your only tank. He will heal himself sometimes, giving you extra time to attack as a healer. Going as a healer is the slowest option because all 3 major damage dealers are trusts, which will drag things out way a noticable degree.
Thanks, i'm returning after beating shadowbringers and want to run new content with something new. Love guides that are short and to the point. No one likes a 20min video where people waste your time.
My greatest problem is only ahead with: "but which one to level..." as even leveling crafters seems more interesting at the moment than dragging up my 35-somethings to a decent level. Good information though, I'll be sure to link to this in case a friend returns and wants to just try out something new.
For new players leveling your Grand Company takes a lot of Seals and Trusts are a great way to farm the seals. Also Fates as you mention, even just doing whatever ones you run by ends up being worth it.
@@LeReVaQ You will see the option in Shadowbringers when you go into your first dungeon there. After that you can access them through Duty Finder. It will be added to the menu.
Best advice for 71-80 go to Bozjan on 3rd map Zadnor, farm fates in Zone 3 with others, if you have Menphona's Earring ( +30% exp bonus ) you will do 9 lvls like in 4-5 hours!
This method worked for me: PotD from 15 to 61 (floor 51 to 60) and then HoH from 61 to 71(floor 21 to 30). (Almost insta-queue with DPS jobs and insane exp for 10~15 min runs) From 71 to 80 u can do ShB Duties.
@@marcomeerts3041 Hi! step 1- pass floors 51-60 at least once step 2- once step 1 is completed you have to reset your progress when you talk to the potd npc step 3- once you reset your progress you can choose to start from floors 1 or 51
Dont forget alliance raid roulletes which also help alot and worked to lv up my Sam and Gnb to 80 as secondary job. Only 1 run and you can full or almost lv up by 1 level per day
Love the tips, I definitely will have to give some of these a try. My go to way has always been Duty Roulette and Frontline PVP daily reward, which has done pretty well, but the more options the better!

Freibriefe : Erfolge zum Bsp 16x Zelkoven Bauholz in Kugane abgeben und 4x im östlichen Thanalan,. Ostliches Thanalan syncen mit S-rank spawn time - wer möchte. PVP-Frontline find ich sehr gut zum leveln, weil es fängt dann irgendwann an Spass zu machen, kann ich nur empfehlen. Das Gute es zählt der Job mit dem man reingeht. Von 17 bis 24Uhr gibt es auch nur kurze Wartezeiten. Pixies sind muss aber auch die Nebenquest in den SHB Gebieten bringen schnell XP und die sind oft unterhaltsam.
The problem with Command Missions is that you have to do the following to get them unlocked: * Complete the MSQ until you defeat (spoiler) and join a Grand Company. * Pay a zillion Grand Company Seals to get up to third lieutenant * Do the first two Grand Company Hunt Log pages to full to unlock Page 3 * Once you get to Third Lieutenant, you have to do one run of Dzamael Darkhold and Aurum Vale to complete quests based around them. Then you can promote up to 2nd Lieutenant and get access to a Grand Company Squadron, and THEN you have to pay more seals and wait 18 hours at a time doing missions to get your squad up to Level 20, then do a flagged mission which requires careful squad stat management. ONLY THEN will Command Missions be unlocked. Needless to say, you won't be getting Command Missions as soon as you join a Grand Company, it will be a week of real time to get things up to snuff. So I recommend continuing your hunting log and doing leveling roulette and spamming the highest level dungeon you have unlocked if you are leveling an alt. By the time you get to Heavensward, you might have Command Missions, I dunno.
This is very useful. I have literally been falling asleep during Leveling Roulette lately - at least twice during the final boss, and if I every see Tam-Tara Deepcroft or Thousand Maws again I might wake up. So I definitely appreciate this outline. Thanks!
With a friend, you can tag enemies in east shroud and let a friend (not in your party) one shot them, giving you all the xp, and you can get up to level 20 in like an hour and change.
Is there something else to do while doing the mqs? Because it starts to feel a bit tedious at level 40+ and the dungeons don't seem to give much or did i miss something?
Three dungeons in the duty roulette once a week for the Challenge Log bonus is a good way to get a little more xp. Also Palace of the Dead floors 51-60 repeatedly. Keep doing the MSQ though because it goes on forever. It often gets tedious but you have to do it anyway.

How do you get your arrows and texts so small over the enameled, it's such an eye sore on default. Coming from wow, these nameplates/text taking up all of the screen is killing me
1. Roulletes and Potd till level 40 2. Couple of vigil dungeon runs from level 41 3. DAILY GAIUS SPEECH 4. Never use into potd after level 60, because you'll get bored by class and never actually learn to use it
You can also do the following roulettes by this order that i do, 50/60/70 dungeons follow by Trail then Alliance raid, then Leveling roulette and finally end the day with FRONTLINE!, FRONTLINE is a PVP roulette win or lose it will gives you a way better massive EXP reward 10X times better than the leveling roulette i recommend this for levels 70+. Trust me is better with the bonus
depends on the server and where you live, on my server frontline can only be done right after a daily reset, else you get a day long queue with a low chance of doing frontline at all
The more I think about leveling my other jobs, the more I wish I had waited to make a character until the Road to 70 bonus was up. But I didn't really understand what the little marks next to each server meant at the beginning. I did buy a couple of level-skip potions when they were on sale, and the dlc classes are at least at a high enough level that they have the good rolos unlocked, butt it's still a chore to level all of the other ones. I had to take a few days between SB and ShB to just level everything up to 30 so I could clear out some of my inventory. Also, holy shit you play with you camera zoomed in so close! The characters are taking up like 1/3 of the screen.
Use Gathering foods when you are killing random creatures. You will get a lot of animal gathered materials for DoH that need Animal drops of Leather, meat, and other materials (Like Diremite web and Fleece).
The table you show at 0:50.... What is "The road to 70" go under on that table? I missed the road to 70 buff, i contuined my trial account I not played in like 2 years and didn't have that buff. I only found out about it now I'm level 45 and don't want to reroll for that buff to help out with leveling and leveling other jobs :'(
I wish I had known earlier on that you are forced to do tons of raids to progress the MSQ. It feels super bad being a tank where the entire raid has done all of the raids before and are significantly better geared than you. The problem is as a tank you really need to research the raids before doing them, which is annoying in itself but then when you actually do the raids you realise half of them are just zerged and the videos you watched were a massive waste of time. However, if you don't watch them you can easily wipe the raids and you cannot get away with not knowing what you are doing. In hindsight I would have levelled a DD via MSQ and done dungeons on my tank

First person I’ve seen like myself, I picked Lancer randomly when I started the game, around 30 bought a skip potion, discovered I hate cluttered hot bars and not big on DRG. Which was fine because Dancer was one of the things that inspired me to try the game and I needed a level 60 to pick up the quest. Turns out I LOVE dancer and have basically no desire to use anything else. Does heavily limt my glams but oh boy it saves on time and spending on gear
I wanna just do the MSQ but the quest completionism in me won’t allow it. Gotta do em all. Plus I don’t just wanna burn through the game then wait for new content. Wanna enjoy it
To maybe save someone else the time I just wasted looking up how to get those helmets with 20% bonus EXP: Short answer is you probably can't, or can't without spending money. Some are pre-order bollocks, and the friendship circlet requires you to recruit a friend who then activates a subscription. The earrings are also pre-order bollocks. All in all, your best bet is the Brand-new Ring you can get from completing the Hall of the Novice quest line and some food and rest buffs.
Is the road to 70 worth it? I made a account 2 years ago and got 2 chars to 47-50 but quit, I started again 2 days ago should I make a new character so I can get the buff to level faster and more characters
Can someone please explain help me with some information about sub classes? Am I missing something? I’m a BLM though it says level archer to 15 and arcane at to lvl 30 for a healing spell. Do I pick another character or is this done on the same character? If so how do you access all this? I’m almost to the point to quit, there is no help in game and no one to talk to.
ALSO! Consider the Lv. 1 armor sets you can buy from the Mogstation store. They are generally a glamour Head/Body/Feet set you can use under Lv. 30 for a 30% EXP boost! Just BE AWARE... As you'll need to wear them as a set, this will NOT stack with the headpieces, but it's still 10% more EXP if you're willing to shell out $18...
Levelling up really isn't the problem for me, I'm on a double xp server until level 70 (was around 63 after beating ARR). The problem is trying to finish all of the MSQ so I can unlock the job quests and high level dungeons, the story/missions are boring and tedious af

Kk so this is a old truck, but draw your weapon and quickly enter the /sit command. You’ll draw, then resheath your weapon in order to sit, but it allows your weapon to glow while out away, assuming you have the right weapon glamour

That is hilarious because when I had the carbuncle, he was a giant waste of pixels. Why you hate me sqenix?!?!

Bozja is my favorite way to level 71-80 especially on a DPS if I have done my roulettes. So much exp per fate!

never did potd before - is there a way to stay at a floor? doesn't it automatically go up to the next floor if you finish a run?

With a friend, you can tag enemies in east shroud and let a friend (not in your party) one shot them, giving you all the xp, and you can get up to level 20 in like an hour and change.

Is there something else to do while doing the mqs? Because it starts to feel a bit tedious at level 40+ and the dungeons don't seem to give much or did i miss something?
Three dungeons in the duty roulette once a week for the Challenge Log bonus is a good way to get a little more xp. Also Palace of the Dead floors 51-60 repeatedly. Keep doing the MSQ though because it goes on forever. It often gets tedious but you have to do it anyway.
so it's kinda awkward since my question is not releated to lvling...but how can I improve the visuals of the game? :D I know there are texture mods but is there any specific explanation for this topic?
GShade and texture mods from the Nexus are the way to go. GShade in particular I can't live without.

How do you get your arrows and texts so small over the enameled, it's such an eye sore on default. Coming from wow, these nameplates/text taking up all of the screen is killing me
1. Roulletes and Potd till level 40
2. Couple of vigil dungeon runs from level 41
3. DAILY GAIUS SPEECH
4. Never use into potd after level 60, because you'll get bored by class and never actually learn to use it

You can also do the following roulettes by this order that i do, 50/60/70 dungeons follow by Trail then Alliance raid, then Leveling roulette and finally end the day with FRONTLINE!, FRONTLINE is a PVP roulette win or lose it will gives you a way better massive EXP reward 10X times better than the leveling roulette i recommend this for levels 70+.
Trust me is better with the bonus
depends on the server and where you live, on my server frontline can only be done right after a daily reset, else you get a day long queue with a low chance of doing frontline at all

The more I think about leveling my other jobs, the more I wish I had waited to make a character until the Road to 70 bonus was up. But I didn't really understand what the little marks next to each server meant at the beginning. I did buy a couple of level-skip potions when they were on sale, and the dlc classes are at least at a high enough level that they have the good rolos unlocked, butt it's still a chore to level all of the other ones. I had to take a few days between SB and ShB to just level everything up to 30 so I could clear out some of my inventory.
Also, holy shit you play with you camera zoomed in so close! The characters are taking up like 1/3 of the screen.
Use Gathering foods when you are killing random creatures. You will get a lot of animal gathered materials for DoH that need Animal drops of Leather, meat, and other materials (Like Diremite web and Fleece).
Currently the command missions are still the best option or can the duty support be useful?

i've leveled all my classes to 80 and for some reason i still watched this XD
The table you show at 0:50.... What is "The road to 70" go under on that table? I missed the road to 70 buff, i contuined my trial account I not played in like 2 years and didn't have that buff.
I only found out about it now I'm level 45 and don't want to reroll for that buff to help out with leveling and leveling other jobs :'(
And about palace of the Dead?
maybe isn't faster, but I think that's give a decent amount of xp, and it's a great way to get into class mechanics

I wish I had known earlier on that you are forced to do tons of raids to progress the MSQ. It feels super bad being a tank where the entire raid has done all of the raids before and are significantly better geared than you. The problem is as a tank you really need to research the raids before doing them, which is annoying in itself but then when you actually do the raids you realise half of them are just zerged and the videos you watched were a massive waste of time. However, if you don't watch them you can easily wipe the raids and you cannot get away with not knowing what you are doing.
In hindsight I would have levelled a DD via MSQ and done dungeons on my tank
When you only like and play ONE job... But you kinda want the achievement.....
Interested in which job this is, simply because I haven't heard of many others only liking one job.

First person I’ve seen like myself, I picked Lancer randomly when I started the game, around 30 bought a skip potion, discovered I hate cluttered hot bars and not big on DRG. Which was fine because Dancer was one of the things that inspired me to try the game and I needed a level 60 to pick up the quest. Turns out I LOVE dancer and have basically no desire to use anything else. Does heavily limt my glams but oh boy it saves on time and spending on gear
I wanna just do the MSQ but the quest completionism in me won’t allow it. Gotta do em all. Plus I don’t just wanna burn through the game then wait for new content. Wanna enjoy it

To maybe save someone else the time I just wasted looking up how to get those helmets with 20% bonus EXP:
Short answer is you probably can't, or can't without spending money. Some are pre-order bollocks, and the friendship circlet requires you to recruit a friend who then activates a subscription.
The earrings are also pre-order bollocks.
All in all, your best bet is the Brand-new Ring you can get from completing the Hall of the Novice quest line and some food and rest buffs.

Is the road to 70 worth it? I made a account 2 years ago and got 2 chars to 47-50 but quit, I started again 2 days ago should I make a new character so I can get the buff to level faster and more characters
Can someone please explain help me with some information about sub classes? Am I missing something? I’m a BLM though it says level archer to 15 and arcane at to lvl 30 for a healing spell. Do I pick another character or is this done on the same character? If so how do you access all this? I’m almost to the point to quit, there is no help in game and no one to talk to.
ALSO! Consider the Lv. 1 armor sets you can buy from the Mogstation store. They are generally a glamour Head/Body/Feet set you can use under Lv. 30 for a 30% EXP boost! Just BE AWARE... As you'll need to wear them as a set, this will NOT stack with the headpieces, but it's still 10% more EXP if you're willing to shell out $18...

Levelling up really isn't the problem for me, I'm on a double xp server until level 70 (was around 63 after beating ARR). The problem is trying to finish all of the MSQ so I can unlock the job quests and high level dungeons, the story/missions are boring and tedious af

Kk so this is a old truck, but draw your weapon and quickly enter the /sit command. You’ll draw, then resheath your weapon in order to sit, but it allows your weapon to glow while out away, assuming you have the right weapon glamour

@@nileriver922 lol probably the best mount in what it can do the chocoholic can fight with you and heal you. A tip once you beat all the extreme trials in RR. Go in unsynced and get the mounts it’s a lot easier that way if you need someone to help you farm, my name is Jimenez Kami. I’m in ultros.
Does Adamantoise tears still exist? I did the intro quest to unlock the Camp Tranquil leves, but he isn't offering it.
It still does exist, we just did it on Stream last week
