I need the Grunka and Reynard ship to be canon. If the Broken Sky Arc is the final story arc, it would be nice to get a time jump showing them together as well as a summary of everyone else.
"I am not a person, I am a Tiefling" Um... I'm not sure Jiutou or Kim understand that just because she's not a Human doesn't mean she's not a person XD.
A lot of people use 'person' as a human-specific term. Especially given that the first definition of the word is as follows: 'A human being regarded as an individual.'
She's also suddenly offended by being called a "Demon child", even though literally everyone they have ever met has called her that, and she's never been offended by it before, ever.
She might have been and just never mentioned it before, but got fed up enough that she spoke up since its happened so much. its sort of like how if a person calls you something unintentionally mean in passing you might brush it off but if it keeps happening you might get fed up enough to tell people to stop.

Lishadra yeah I feel the same. I mean I'm perfectly fine with her character starting like that but her character has pretty much had the most opportunity for character growth and yet she's still pretty much the exact same character she started as 65 episodes later :/
Mike0748 Yep nail on the head. I literally can't fathom why she started to complain to Reynard's uncle that he was a liar! You'd think having proved himself in combat (in some instances being a more useful team member than Jiutou), aided her in her own personal goals and generally becoming, albeit slightly, more humble person would win her respect at the very least. Plus she knows how much his uncle means to him, that should at least be enough to lay off the continous whinging about "Raymond".
Again falls under the anecdotal your fun is wrong argument, but some character growth wouldn't come amiss.
ThePersian yeah I was gonna add a whole "this is how I do it because my way of having fun is better" thing in my previous comment because when I both play and DM I try to allow opportunities for characters to grow and change and I've had times where I've played an annoying and flawed character just to see those kinks get worked out over time XD and Here I find Kim at episode 66 still calling Cam "MR human" towards the end of the episode.
I am only at the break now, and I really admire how long they managed to talk through this "puzzle", and make it entertaining as well. I feel like my party would leave after ten minutes, smug and with a giant pile of ashes behind them.
My party frequently breaks things they don't understand. The party druid (a neutral good Hill Elf), burned down an entire forest because a fairy dragon was pranking the nearby village with animated screaming bushes. He has also tried to smash down a locked warded door and cause a magical explosion as a result.
The party paladin (lawful good Tiefling, following the ways of Bahamut) slew a tribe of peaceful Kuo-Toa who did nothing wrong (she did regret her actions though), and the Hill Elf managed to convince the last remaining one that he is an avatar of their god before trapping the poor thing in a room in the dungeon.
So far the only members of this "good" aligned party who hasn't done anything like this is the teenage Gremlin who loves blowing stuff up with bombs and Wild Magic and the most gentile barbarian (who is a High Elf) I have ever seen.

Sounds cool. Psychotic, but fun.
@@azarththekobold if you're playing to alignments (I know a lot of people don't) it could be an interesting roleplay device to throw in some magic items with alignment reqs and, if they do things that really don't fit their alignment, their alignment changes so they can't use the magic item anymore, so then they have to really play to their intended alignment to try to make the item useable again. Think Thor being unworthy to wield his hammer in the first movie. Also opens up the possibility of offering up very strong evil aligned items to tempt the party to change their alignment to be able to use them.

2:40:50 Reynard was only captures because no one helped him. He was doing a decent job fighting off like seven people.

What's with all the third degree and unbridled aggression from Kim? Why should Juitou care if Reynard wins some points with his idol? How many times has she chosen to stay quiet when Cam boasted, stretching the truth in doing so. She has certainly sucked up boatloads to Korak and to her Master and no one has ever interfered with any of her drama monologs to them. Everyone allowed her to have her moments. She is no one's moral judge here. She is chaotic neutral not a Paladin! For a character to claim they are dead inside and they have no emotions she sure is spewing a fountain of emotional behavior that appears to be a nasty fit of jealousy. I am SO PROUD of Katie for calling her out on it. Kim hasn't appeared to show Tom much kindness since he arrived (I am not meaning in role play now). She is so petty, she would even hog chair and table space at times to the point that Katie had to call attention to that as well. Tom is a damned good addition to the team. I don't understand Kim's problem with him. No one likes a bully.
I am so grateful that Katie had a go at Kim about Jiutou randomly belittling Reynard for no fucking reason, she annoys me so much. I started to like Jiutou because she seemed to get over hating Reynard and became an ok character but this made me realise she will never really change about reynard no matter how many episodes there have been and how many are left.
Jiutou would also know how much his uncle means to him so she purely does it out of spite or Jiutou is just that much of a bitch, either way by far the worst character i've ever seen from high rollers.

Not like Reynard has been improving as a character in a much shorter amount of time, while Juito stays exactly the same for 66 episodes or anything... Not that I hate the character, but Reynard has at least shown initiative and effort into changing into a better person, and she just..... Keeps being an asshole

Jiuto is being such an arse that I'm starting to think she's been corrupted in some way, she's such an insufferable companion for the last fair few episodes.

She's just been an asshole the whole game. At least Reynard started to change... yet here we are, 66 episodes and 198~ hours later, and she's the exact same grudge holding, depressing, child she was at the beginning.
During the one-off campaigns they did for Wizards of the Coast there were a few very....strained moments at the table.
When someone pisses you off it tends to stick around in your mind don'tchaknow~
That's the insufferable player with no concept of reality playing an imaginary character that exists in a fictional world...while simply being the player taking out their insecurities, frustrations, and personal damage on everyone else without giving a single damn about their experience at the table or feelings...that's what she is and has never even tried to improve. The outright hostility and metagaming would not be tolerated at gaming tables by most people, if any- in all honesty.
I tend to think of her experience with Crownrend, before she got that thing she still held grudges but Crownrend may have left a lasting impact,making Jiutou rather Amoral
And somewhere Talesin's power grew as Toms waned.

Can't wait for the next story arc! I've been waiting for this since we found out that he's been accused of murder. Fluffy goodness like that is why I love this series... Well, that and moments like Reynard embarrassing himself. 😂

Tom, be sure to ask if that bonus Favored Enemy comes with a bonus language as normal. You never know when you might need to know Celestial, Fiendish, Elvish, or Undercommon, just to name a few!
Dregoth 0 doesn't Reynard maybe speak 3 languages? Pretty sure he has giantish.
I think each favored enemy group grants a bonus language associated with a creature from that group. Unless that's a level 1 bonus only.
Looking at the Player's Handbook, the bonus language needs to be one that the specified Favored Enemy itself speaks. From the Monstrosities in the Monster Manual, the langauges available would be Draconic (Behir), Elvish or Sylvan (Centaur), Undercommon (Drider), Hook Horror (Hook Horror), Abyssal, Celestial, Infernal or Primordial (Kraken), Aquan (Merrow), Sphinx (Androsphinx), Umber Hulk (Umber Hulk), or Yeti (Yeti). Though, some are innately more useful than others; Draconic, Undercommon, Celestial, Infernal, or Primordial.

I like the idea of a Tiefling Patting a persons head to check for a temperature, when they themselves can withstand heat much better than most other beings XD, im sure had they thought of it she would have thought Cam was suffering from extreme lack of body heat XD

Pixies, oddly, are THE BEST choice for the Summon Woodland Beings spell. 8 Pixies, that makes 8 free polymorphs for an hour. That means an eight man party can be Tyrannosaurus Rexes for an hour.
By RAW you don't actually get to pick which creatures appear, just their CR and number. For reasons you described above :)
Only if the pixies know what a T-Rex is.
And the druid has to know that the name means something to be able to give the order.
It also comes down to house rules. A lot of experienced DMs know about that combo and either ban it outright or put some form of restriction on it, such as polymorph and the rules dictating CR versus player level.
THE BEST is rather subjective. In terms of action economy and being a nightmare for the DM it's more like the worst because it's OP.

This episode: the party all turn chaotic neutral and trap a bunch of pixies with no idea if they'll get out (the mirrored are variant mirrors of life trapping so they should.
I'm so glad I've finally caught up, but now I'm really sad that I have to wait until the new year to catch this live! Can't wait till the Christmas Livestream!!!

I like how Jiutou recalls the story of Reynard being caught and they had to rescue him. Jiutou and Elora abandoned him when he could of used the help and he was captured. Interesting that fact was overlooked.

4 years later, I thought the same. But I looked at Reynards character sheet, and he doesn't have the crossbow expert feat that I assumed he did, so Mark letting him fire twice a round at all is pretty generous.
Hey i’m finally fully caught up, the day after the fucking jingle jam rip. Now onto uncharted territory and dead reckoning
What the fuck, this can't of happened Reynard's uncle enters the tree a 2 months ago then goes though the Faywild kills the golems and gets trapped in the mirror, and at some point he rights a letter to Reynard and finds someone to deliver it to him, one of the letters were wrote 2 weeks ago! Impossible
My guess is the mirrors each contain an archfey, the sun, moon, winter, summer, etc. and the broken mirror freed one.
Gavin Graham nah, probably servants of the fey. Pretty sure Archfey would a least have a legendary resist to prevent themselves from entering it.

soo I'm curious why they didn't just "repair" the seed by putting something on it that seals it then the smoke wouldn't leave. Then just greater restoration on it later when they have someone to cast mend.

Idk of Mark is using a different kind of mirror of lifetrapping (as in his own version) or if he just messed up how they work. Jiuto destroying that mirror should have freed everything within it. Also calm down Jiuto, you were fine a couple episodes ago
Well an actual Mirror of Life Stealing can hold multiple targets. There wouldn't be any need for six.
