Работа с утюгом понравилась, получилось отлично, жаль в конце не показали его функционал. В продолжение темы звуков костра надо было нагреть внутреннюю деталь, положить в утюг и что-нибудь погладить, тогда бы моему восторгу не было бы предела. 😊
I love that you re-textured every part by sanding it down. Most restoration people just take the rust off then go straight for the re-paint. You ACTUALLY restored it. Nice work. Love to see it.

I have had quite a few brass items in my lifetime and polishing is not my favorite hobby. I also use a safe liquid designed for ammunition reloaders to clean brass cartridges. Pour some of the liquid into a glass bowl and let the brass soak in it for about an hour, keeping watch in case it should start attacking the copper in cheap brass items especially those from India and the orient where the mixture in the metal has impurities. Just the time alone to set up each shot in detail makes it a fine video. Reminds me of a video class from fifty plus years ago. Having to work with plastiline figures. Camera angles were critical so viewers could have a perfect finished product.
Продвинутая модель утюга для своего времени 👌 Внутрь кладутся не угли, а нагретая железяка, и все детальки такие аккуратные, на резьбе. Достойная вещь, получившая новую жизнь 👍

I remember my grandmother had one of these. She didn’t use it anymore, but it was still in beautiful condition. You did a wonderful job with this iron!! Another 10 from Texas!
Beautiful. So glad you didn't sand it all the way down and some of the pitting was still visible. I'd rather have that than losing too much of the original. It looks so good. Fantastic
It really depends on the type of metal, whether there's pitting. Also, there are indeed barns full of old, rusty stuff. It's items kept in good condition that are difficult to find...

Hi Mr Restorer when i lookedcat the iron I thought this one is only fit for ghe bin then I remember it was your good self restoring it. I thoroughly enjoyed this restoration it was really interesting and you are very talented and clever with any sort of material you need to us to make new parts or repair parts . Specaly on Brass, i like the before and after effect. very decorativ. 👍👍👍👍👍But i dont think, it is old. It seams to be a replica from the seventies. Old screws, over hundred years had not six sides, only four. The is also no sign the handle was used very offen. It looked new, but aged. In the seventies, brass objects for decoration bekame popular and there was a lot importet from India. Just like the bag in the last video.
Such beautiful work. I love the fact that everything is so vintage or almost ancient. It still works after you restore it.😊❤️ Your channel is incredible. watch your amazing videos when I can. Keep up the awesome work.
It’s fake. He added the patina. Anything that crusty should’ve had pitted metal and cracked wood. The little door still slid open nice and easy, should’ve been completely corroded shut. This is a new trend among UA-camrs, where they purposefully make something look so far gone and then restore it.
This guy DOES NOT RESTORE ANYTHING... HE TAKES A CLEAN ITEM AND COOKS SUGAR AND DIRT ONTO IT, HE DOESNT EVEN HAVE TO CLEAN IT BECAUSE HE JUST SHIWS WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE. EFOR HE COVERED IT IN FAKE RUST.. ALL HIS ITEMS ARE faked.
All of these old conveniences are always something to hold. So many of them heavy with the steel they were made from. They felt better even if todays conveniences are lighter and more efficient. Define a 10.
He is a liar. He takes clean items and makes them look dirty with fake rust...brass cannot rust... all real craftsmen call him out, he could even be ruining these items and editing the film so the before becomes the after.

brass doesn't rust. rust is iron oxide, so only metals with iron rust. other metals corrode, but not in the same way as rust on iron containing metals, because rust can completely eat through and the corrosion you see on other metals is normally just on the surface.
