Excellent list...3 times I tried to watch this but was interrupted each time. This time, I'm watching right through! Just one thing everyone should know, the Duka doesn't have a screw down crown so maybe be careful if swimming etc.

Nice list mate. Just a quick word of warning though. The Duxa IWC homage doesn't actually look like the pictures. They are pictures of the Hroudland version, just with the branding edited. I spoke to the seller a while back, as I was planning to do a comparison to my Hroudland. They sent me actual pictures of one and its quite different, and doesn't look as good.

I have a suspicion that most of this watches are manufactured in the same factory, under different brand names and different quality and finish levels

I have the Steeldive Blancpain fifty fathoms homage in bronze for significantly less. For the price I'd save the little bit extra for the actual Zelos.
I lost interest a bit since EU tax change, but I found something nice on Addies store when looking at the vintage diver. Blue dial diver that looks like a Seiko Save the Ocean. I might get it during next sale.
It seems a lot of prices have been adjusted with roughly 20%
I have the thorn gmt. Very good build quality and that movement is running 8 seconds with no best error. Superb 'office gmt' jumping gmt hand. Male end links but fits perfectly on my 7.25" wrists. Cost £134 delivered with vat pre-paid.
I like the look of this one even if it's just like the original THORN. The new dial and GMT is a decent upgrade but I'm still holding back until I see a worthy review.
Some really cool stuff there, thanks for sharing. I hope Steeldive generally won't go up in prices, their SD1970 is like their classic standard when it comes to great value and hopefully that will still be their basic field. I always enjoy Escapement Time's concept with retro/vintage models from yesteryears, that black one once again are getting very tempting.
Some lovely looking pieces there. I was looking on AE for ladies watches, but there are no reviewers for AE ladies watches on youtube. I didn't purchase because not sure if they are any good.
How about some reviews on ladies peices. Maybe you could make a once a month feature.
Or even better, if Mrs Watcher starts her own channel dedicated to ladies watches from AE and mainstream brands...So Mrs Watcher, what do you think???..its very much needed.

Some great looking watches there bud. I've been eyeing the Thorn and Duka for a while but unfortunately with the Duka, although I saw early images with the yellow minute hand and yellow minute track, you couldn't actually buy that variant. It was a little sneaky but they seemed to have stopped it. Thanks for making me want to spend more money!😉 All the best.

The Swoneri states water resistance of 100M on the dial and 50M on the caseback.
I am afraid price creep is now getting a little silly on a lot of these brands there up well over 15 percent if not more my adventure with Ali-express looks to be coming to an end or cut back a lot great reviews as ever.

I actually liked the mismatch Addiesdive a lot. I have never been a fan of the rectangle and dots style dive watches often come with. I really dislike the Mercedes hands. They are not only in almost every other Chinese diver, I really don’t like design of them either. I found the mismatch addiesdive quite refreshing.
The Duka is lower quality. Bezel isnt sapphire like the hroudland it is painted on. There have been some customer reviews on other seller sites that show the quality. Duka took the Hroudland photos and photoshopped in their branding. Whether or not Hroudland took the photos from IWC i dont know though lol I own the Hroudland and the quality is there, with a domed fully lumed sapphire bezel. Look on Trendy Mens webstore on Ali.

About Seig Flamma. I really like the retro style, but I saw comments that the build quality is no good, that the bezel is misaligned, the bracelet is low quality and rattling, next to no lume. I really like it, but if all this is true the price should be much lower. Also the brand name is terrible
That Addiesdive seconds hand looks way too small. How do watch designers still make this mistake?

Question about the Thorn ... on Aliexpress I saw the silver bezel and black bezel but some of the pics also looked like a blue dial? But it is not offered? Or is that blue AR coating?
Its blue AR coating, theres quitw a bit of it applied

Le problème avec toutes ces marques c'est qu'elle ne font pas l'effort de faire des modèles pour femmes de type ... : 32, 33, 36, 37 mm et les 38mm sont rare en ce qui concerne les montres de type hommages. Ce qui est triste pour les femmes.

On Aliexpress prices are too high since July 1st, when it was introduced the EU Tax. They should lower their prices to offset the introduction of the tax, as for example Wish did. If they don't they will be doomed to lose customers until they fail.
Also depends on how much of their sales are to the EU.
Out of curiosity with the tax how much have prices increased?

@@iantoleo out ... it would definitely cut down on the number of Aliexpress watches I get as well as the value for money proposition.
What is the tax or VAT they're adding? I've always had to pay a 10% tax on everything I've ever bought on ali, whenever they had a sale, the saving would barely offset the cost of taxes, so I've been dealing with that the entire time I've been buying from ali.
Nothing but stealing/copying other watch manufacturers'/designers' products. Also by using movements like NH35, that's why they are CHEAP.
Absolutely unfair to those who made/designed the original watches! Shame.
To be honest, alot of well respected microbrands do the exact same but nobody seems to bat an eye-lid to those. Even commercial brands do the same albeit perhaps less obvious. Seiko's fault for mass releasing these movements to open market, cheap but amazing robust movements. They're not everyone's cup of tea but they do have a substantial fan base.
