Love your content. I do various major mods on the Proxima mm300s that you would be interested in. My SBDX001 are 14mm thick.
The value, and quality for the price you get from some of these brands is amazing. I just wish that these Chinese manufacturers would get their branding and text right. Tactical Frog? IX&DAO? RDUNAE? Watchdives? I'd struggle to look past those bizarre, nonsensical names. Thorn, Sugess, Pagani Design, San Martin, Seestern are much better. But then Thorn puts "Exploration Road" on the dial of their Pelagos homage. What for?!
Speaking of homages vs fakes, the line gets too blurry for me when brands start (for example) putting snowflake hands on their Tudor homages. I wish they'd give the option of a more generic/original handset, so it doesn't look like a wannabe. Any thoughts? Thanks for the great reviews.
It's in the nature of homage brands and the fact that it's the chinese producing their own and not just others I suppose. Two very different sides of the world...

Great video as always my friend I've had a couple that have lasted well past the honeymoon phase my favorite being the Watchdives Sharkmaster and tool free adjusting bracelet homage I've even swapped that bracelet over to a couple of my faves I've also seen that Addies dive came out with a bargain Omega homage for just over one hundred dollars I think I'm going to bring it in for a slight mod project Damn you for getting me into modding watches lol Be well my friend and of course Stay Frosty 👍

The thing with thorns bb58 is why buy get a worse name look and quality when you can buy the san martin sn004. I love mine and just got a second

I have a question. Do you think the Selita SW200 movements that are optional for some of these watches are real or Chinese clones? Have you ever purchased a watch that had an SW200 in it and opened the watch to inspect it? I'd really like to know if they're real.
As far as I know they're legit but u never know with the chinese.
You can usually see on the back sellita sw200 txt but they've also cloned the eta2824 so....and the sellita is also a clone of the eta....🙃
Thank you! I've thought about upgrading to a SW200 on a couple of watches but I didn't do it partly because of the expense but also because I just don't know if they're authentic. I don't think I've ever seen a video where anyone addresses this issue.
