I prefer clacks and thoccy, but if one of my friends had a keyboard that sounded like this, I wouldn’t hate on it.
Most clicky switches sound disgusting, but these sound nice
I put 69g springs in my melodic clickies and lubed them. With foam they thock and click quietly.
@@Zephhi you might wanna emphasize on modern and MX Blue-like switches.
Mainly because most pre-MX clicky switches sounds and feels really good or decent at least (well unless you hate sounds and desperately need shit tons of dampened foams to shut it all up, in which case: preference, i suppose lol)
it tickles my brain 😂
They seem very similar to old Monterey Alps switches with the small clickleaf. Those are generally well recieved, even if they’re clones of genuine Alps, so i’d expect these Melodics to be quite good.
i got my hands on a few of these. sounds identical to click bar, in my chassis at least. but the tactility does feel a bit different, lighter than jades.
@@vincentlaurensius8714 Bummer. From what i’ve heard the clickleaf in the melodics is even smaller than the Monterey Alps, and the tactility isn’t the same. The Monterey Alps feel amazing, though mine feel a little scratchy due to the lubricant no longer working and Alps being vulnerable to dust, so the Melodics had a chance to be some of the best MX type switches made.
I guess this is only Gaterons second attempt at this type of switch, and they could do it again (or even some other company).
@@vincentlaurensius8714Got them today and tried them out on a Tex Shinobi. They feel a lot like Monterey Alps, maybe not quite as tactile but feel a fair bit smoother and overall I actually prefer them.
Definitely a switch worth checking out.
Best clicky switch
I like my keyboard to sound like a long nailed secretary.
Those sound so good!
I really want to like these, but they’re still way too tactile and unfortunately cause my rsi to flare up. I really wish we could get something lighter like old SMK clickies or white Alps in an MX form factor.
I started flying
I like it
Sounds like white alps kinda
The new meta of clicky switches?
I LOVE IT!
How do I get them?
I want the loudest clicky switches
Try Kailh Box Jade, or Box Navy. They will shatter your eardrums
@@bihansiceklone dang I might have to buy the box navy's I'm really digging how those sound over my mx blues
Stopped a kid from saying second
Second
second
Dang it
I prefer bass sound signature when typing on any keyboard. Definitely not for me!
But kailh white is like that too
I was just wondering if your guy's keyboards work for xbox?
They do
I love this I like my keys a bit quieter because my roommate
I want gae-deron switches 😂😂
Can you remove the click leaf?
you could probably remove it but im not sure, i've only removed clickbars from blues
Aren't those just tactile or am I stupid
This is the best sound tbh
44 bucks for 70 isn’t too bad but for clickys idk
It sounds like the sounds of the cliche hacker's keyboard on really mediocre movies
Are you Keybonbon?
Listened it for 3 seconds and can't stand it already
It sounds the same
I prefer thocky over clicky, but I dig this
why is literally almost every keyboard nowdays HAVE to be thight as shit and made out of solid fuckin brick of alluminium or steel or sumn like that? clicky switches like these needs roomy plastic case for proper sounds. not everything has to be mute as shit yk.
i hate whatever people nowdays meant by thOckY. to me, it's just incredibly muted noises that barely made out a sound of a bottomed out switch. and they all sound exactly the same, as if they all got no personality.
Pin me pretty please🗿🌝
The worst clicky switcg ever
The worst commenter ever
How? It's better than mx blue by far
i think you can just remove the click mechanism and turn it into a linear switch
why'd you do that, what's the point😭
