Solo Section: Marvel United

Hello! Welcome to the first episode of Solo Section, the show where I teach all about the solo modes to games I love, but with a somewhat unnecessary music pun because I'm a band director.
In this episode, I'm talking all about the S.H.I.E.L.D. and Xavier Modes from the Marvel United original and X-Men base boxes. For the most part, they play the same way, though I'll point out the small ways in which they've iterated on the rules in the X-Men version. I think this is a great way to play more Marvel United, which is a good thing, given how many heroes and villains as I've got!

Great vid! I always play solo 2 or 3 handed, I think its more fun and balanced that way. Also there is a new commander solo mode that is mostly backwards compatible that I am hoping to try soon that just came out with Season 3 Multiverse

Oooh! I didn’t back Multiverse, so I didn’t really keep up on what’s inside. I’m interested to see if that’s another mostly thematic reskin (like Xavier was) or if there are mechanical changes. Glad you enjoyed the video, and I gotta agree, I’ve played lots more solo mode than anything else with MU (and love it).
