Prokaryotic Gene Expression Regulation:Types of Regulation:Negative Regulation/Positive Regulation

In prokaryotes at transcriptional level gene regulation is controlled by means of negative regulation and positive regulation. Negative regulation is prevention of gene expression. Positive regulation allows expression of genes. Positive regulation has two types viz. positive inducible regulation and positive repressible regulation.
