Just discovered your channel today and really appreciate your production quality and excellent verbal skills. You are a unique and welcome addition to the content community in Chiang Rai. I very much prefer the interview or Podcast format over the vlog style of content so that is one reason I like your channel so far.
I rode a Ninja 650 all around Northern Thailand for a few years but eventually sold it to focus on healthier more athletic activities. A bike really is a great way to get to know the area and explore the back roads. I will be 70 this year and still love road trips but I like the comfort of a nice SUV so I can load up gear for hiking or camping or whatever else we might feel like doing on the road.
I am not a fan of Thailand 101 content and so far like your wide-ranging conversations and that you are perhaps more inspirational than instructive. I came to Thailand long before the advent of social media and found my way without the detailed guidelines which exist today. Anyway welcome to Chiang Rai and I will be interested to see where your path leads you.

Thank you so much for your very kind words. This video, in particular, has done very well and continues to build its audience. I'm hoping it will break through the 1,000 views barrier very soon. Right now I am on my Classic 350 and thumping my way down south to the beaches near Chumphon in anticipation of the dreaded smokey season up north. I plan to do some more Conversations down on Thung Wua Laen beach at the place I will stay until May, which seems to be trapped in a very laid back late hippy time warp. I think the reason for this is that Chumphon is astonishingly difficult to get to. There is only one flight a day from Bangkok and it leaves so early in the morning that no flight can connect to it. And the trains down from Bangkok are agonisingly slow and nearly all arrive in the middle of the night. So regular foreign tourists are unlikely to ever find themselves on the 4km unspoiled beach :)
