@@nickjordan8996 yes there is. in this video, i'm using 2.15 GCD speed, while there are others that use 2.07 or even 2.00. but if you are rather new, I suggest you use this one since it's easier to pick up,
This is good for a basic guide but if you actually want to get decent logs don't use ikishoten on CD, you want to enter 2 mins windows with near full kenki then use ikishoten as soon as your under 50 so you pretty much get 150 instead of just 100
noticed that in the opener you didn't include your 2nd meikyou in the image from 4:20 only the one from prepull is there but thx for the guide really appreciate it, just wanted to point it out as its the only thing that got me confused lol everything else was very clear ty.
Just curious i been using balance for the opener and it is setup a little differently from yours. Dont think it would make a huge difference but i am tryin to improve so what do i know lol. Is there a reason for it? Is there a better place for me to get my info? Also the pic for the opener on your vid is missing a Meikyo
Opener - double midare, higanbana, double midare. Also use any ogdc when you can Cooldown phase - midare, get 3 sen Odd min burst - double midare, meikyo, higanbana, midare Filler - yukikaze combo, eat sen with hagakure Cooldown phase Even burst - double midare, meikyo, higanbana, midare. Filler, cooldown, odd burst, Filler, cooldown, even burst, Filler, cooldown, burst, Filler, cooldown, burst.. so on
hagakure is indeed situational. the purpose of hagakure is to be a filler. on full uptime situation, the 2.15 GCD sks will need one filler GCD as i explained in the video (else you will overcap your sen or drift your 2 minute burst) - if you don't have full uptime and able to reset your rotation each time, you don't need to use hagakure. (ie- short duration uptime like ultimate fights)
It takes 9 gcds to build and use Midare Setsugekka, Samurai's most important GCD. Filler gcds serve the purpose of slowing down your rotation so that you have a loop and are perfectly aligned with 2 minute buffs. However, if you don't use any filler gcds at all, your rotation "accelerates" 2 to 3 gcds every 2 minutes, making it so you accelerate enough gcds to build an extra Midare Setsugekka, which is important for parsing because it gives more RDPS.
Sorry that the graphic is missing a meikyo that was used after the first midare set
Why is it called 'slow' sam? Is there a fast? I'm new and don't follow.

do you make another rotation video for Samurai for DT expansion? you video is quite good as it explains what where when and why. its super nice.
@@lThellRockl i do but its outdated since the 7.05 rework. will probably redo it after warrior guide drops

ah thanks for the notice!
not much difference. you can use any as long as you spend your resources
Gotcha thanks for the reply
Thank you ❤❤❤❤
I'm a bit confused if you don't mind helping, I have 1530 SKS and right now my recast timers are still 2.30 Seconds am I doing something wrong?
I was reading that 1530 SKS is essentially about 2.0 GCD
we calculated the gcd after you have shifu buff (acquired after using kasha)
The rotation still looks really complicated to me, i guess it just doesnt make any sense.

Do I want to have 2.15 GCD before or after the Buff for Speed?
after
Thanks@@aylaveen
I see lots of high parsing sams not use hagakure could you cover this some day i dont get it.

@aylaveen I get this part what I'm referring to is the higher end parsers who don't use hagakure
