A friend of mine has a 2L diesel and his car is running very slow after fitment of an EGR delete and its due to a slight boost leak on the EGR cooler. Haven't had the ECU mapped yet to take engine light off but doesn't harm the car. Will have this done when I get the car mapped to stage 2.

Now I got bigger IC and wider intake, custom exhaust and waiting for hybrid turbo- then I will visit my tuner to do a stage 2- I would like to get about 230km/460nm.
Hello sir, if you delete EGR just with EGR blanket plate, DDE will give a error : "Fault in the exhaust-gas recirculation" and your turbine will we always bypassed (open, no boost pressure). I will advise you to do a diagnose scan, just to see if any code is active.
Yes, engine light activated. Cost £80 to have it deleted permanently. No smoke, smoother power take up and overall a much smoother performing engine. Passed the MOT no issues which is one of the most important aspect I think.

For sure it will. That's the job of the egr cooler system.

@@catalinacatalina1474 Some car's didn't have a DPF, for example the M47 fitted to the X3 E83 didn't receive them until mid to late 2005.
