I do like this design better than the previous solo one, but still hold that a big advantage of the uncompartmentalized original full size one was the capability to shove longer items underneath. That isn't as vital when you have half the cargo area in play with the solo platform. This is definitely a better design than what REI has going on.

Does this setup require me to move the front seat all the way up rendering it useless therefore sacrificing front seat storage. Not to mention hindering the view of the window as well while driving. I have bought another product from a different company $$$$ and I was looking for a more permanent setup for my Honda Fit. I am only 4'-10" and not wanting to break down every time I travel. It's also on the wrong side and has no options to reconfigure. It just didn't work for my needs. What a regretful experience. Pictures advertised were only taken from the back and we need 360 degrees of camera angle to make educated decisions for those of us serious about investing in this lifestyle.
