Does this setup require me to move the front seat all the way up rendering it useless therefore sacrificing front seat storage. Not to mention hindering the view of the window as well while driving. I have bought another product from a different company $$$$ and I was looking for a more permanent setup for my Honda Fit. I am only 4'-10" and not wanting to break down every time I travel. It's also on the wrong side and has no options to reconfigure. It just didn't work for my needs. What a regretful experience. Pictures advertised were only taken from the back and we need 360 degrees of camera angle to make educated decisions for those of us serious about investing in this lifestyle.

My favorite sleeping spot was in Madera Canyon, Arizona, south of Tucson. The weather was perfect. Colorado was a bit chilly in late April as I got snowed on. I am going to check out the water pump and the shower you showed. I also used up way too much storage space by bring enough food for a 2 month Amazon expedition. Thanks for the tips.

I did this with a 2016 CRV. I had to make it 9 inches high because of the way the rear seats fold. I spent 2 weeks this past April on a trip to the western US and slept comfortably every night with my 40 pound dog. I had plenty of room for my 6'1" 300 pound frame. It's amazing to have a camper that gets 32 mpg.

The CRV does actually fold down without that hump you speak of. You simply lift the back platform up and slide it in the upper slot. Easy peasy!

Very nice setup! The 2024 Lexus GX550 seats either fold flat or tumble forward. The problem is with the Overtrail there is no third row so there is a large height difference between the folded flat 2nd row and the flat trunk space. Any chance you could make one that fits the GX550 Overtrail with the second row seats folded flat instead of tumbled forward? The supports at the back area would just need to be higher.
