When you said towel, I thought you were going to suggest for the throne. I see a lot of drummers do this. Particularly with vinyl or leather seats at a hot gig. Helps keep your butt dry! I usually forget the towel though! LOL! Great info. Thanks!
Cool tips ... I do use the marking the sticks tip. I like Regal Tip sticks (which recently I'm having a hard time finding). Their sticks have a black dot on the butt end, so I've had to add marks on the sides.
You should use the bottom flat part of the seat rather than the top contoured part to set the height because the front, sides and back of the top part may all be different.
Good point but the reason I don't do that is that the thickness of a stool can vary wildly from brand to brand. I've seen super-thin ones and then I think Natal do a mega thick one. I think that might have a bigger effect on the comfort! Either way, thanks for checkin the video Brad!
Thanks for posting this video. It is helpful & useful.

The upside down quick clamp got me... why hadn't i thought of that before???? 🤯
Haha I've been blowing peoples minds with that for a decade!

Such a lifesaver!
Really valuable hacks!
Glad you found them useful!
What kind of felt caps (red clips) are you using in the video? Thanks!

How many did you already know?
or practice learn to groove and make any drum set sound good
All those convoluted symbols on the sticks butts? I number mine per pair…far easier to identify easily!?!
Good idea on the numbers. But either option would work
