  • Jordan Peterson's Hillsdale College Commencement Address in 2022 - Orginal Upload: • Jordan B. Peterson | 2...
This speech delivers on what we all love Jordan Peterson for:
His captivating speaking style, profound insights, and unmatched ability to weave together different concepts and narratives into a compelling and beautiful picture.
In this speech, Jordan Peterson delves into the profound themes of choice, responsibility, and personal growth at life's inevitable crossroads. Peterson eloquently discusses how each decision shapes our destiny, urging us to aim upward rather than succumb to lower temptations. He emphasizes the importance of truth, courage, and ethical living as foundations for a meaningful life. But you probably could have guessed all that.

I’ve started listening to and learning from Jordan since 2018, and this one resonates with me so deeply that I cannot hold my tears back. At 35, I am at another crossroad in my life, even though I’ve got a good family and a promising career. I’ll need to summon up the courage and face myself honestly, draw my future vision, and then move forward in the right direction.

I love his heart and sensitivity. For those who don’t know that he wants the best for us, you aren’t hearing him. His beliefs, his wisdom is based partly on his clinical experience, what he’s learned from the human experience of countless others.
He has so much he wants to tell you and his intelligence makes it a bit complicated but it is pretty basic advice and i hope the young adults he addressed get what he meant.
I wish i had someone tell me those things. My life has been hard because i did not recognize the damage done from youth. I thought i was untouched by the harm. I am 64 now. Now i see it. Get over your pains as much as you can. It isn’t easy but recognize that most people in your life mean well (except evil people) or do the best they can. Get the lesson that was or is there.
Aim up! Good luck and God bless you all!

I was at this speech. So many of the "Jordan Peterson's greatest hits" type videos are delivered to people who either hate him or are neutral towards him, but this one was directed at people who desperately wanted to LISTEN and contemplate what he had to say. I'm not sure why any thinking person would give heed to the imperfect opinions of some ignorant psychology professor. There are a handful of EXTREMELY wise sages currently on this planet who can logically and completely answer practically any question that an intelligent soul is likely to ask regarding morals and ethics.
The fact that Jordan supports men buggering each other (by which I mean, that he supports homosexuality and other criminal activities, such as the unnecessary consumption of poor innocent animals) is MORE than sufficient proof that he is not as religious as he claims, and that any decent, holy person ought to shun his inane teachings and flee into the loving arms of a teacher of Truth.
Furthermore, in a recent interview in Benjamin Shapiro's UA-cam channel, he admitted that his wife figuratively (and I'm sure also LITERALLY) wears the pants in his household. 👖
I would be more than pleased to provide you with links to the UA-cam channel of a few enlightened beings who will quickly set you on the path to perfection, as opposed to the DELUDED moral subjectivism professed by "Doctor" Peterson (pun not intended).
Please find below a couple of such ENLIGHTENED masters to which I referred above:
      Professor Alan Watts
(now deceased, so he doesn't have his own UA-cam channel - just search for his videos on numerous channels)
      Swami Sarvapriyananda

The greatest point that Jordan Peterson was trying to put across was not to find any reason to comfort yourself in not doing good or great but rather whatever the situation trying to stand above that situation and do at least some great thing never to let yourself to do less in life as you go out there in society since you are done with school......

Interesting that suffering seems to be the one tool that God so often uses to transform us.
Sad that we seem to need it to shake us out of innate selfishness and narcissism.
I think the Light of God especially in Christ is the one thing that can propel us through the trials and ultimate futility of life.
I cannot comprehend how anyone can function as a being made in His image without bowing to His Glory and infinite love.

Mending relationships is definitely good advice. But it takes two willing participants, open mindedness and letting go of resentfulness on both side. If one is not willing to let go, it is a futile endeavor.
When it comes to finding love, most are interested in hook ups and not healthy relationships. If you are not willing to follow the flow, you might be alienated.
Life is extremely complicated at times.
People who has never experienced trauma have a philosophy of life very different than those who had.

It doesn't take two... you can put forth and resolve to 'mend' a relationship, and if the other party is unwilling you have at least shed the burden and left them holding the bag. You're now free of that burden, which has immense value when moving forward.

Whats up with the 2 haters behind Jordan? One has to make a point of not getting up the other, not applauding.

Also as someone who says its due to Dr. JBP that I've come out of my personal misery to rise above and prosper...I've failed. I've failed Jordan and I've failed God.
