When I blasted off to the center of the sun, and met the goddesses that dance around it perfectly uniquely while also perfectly talking up the space between in front and behind... and then blasted open into a tesseract in 360'... I remembered I could ask a question... So I asked "what is it?" And they said its a gift. The gift is the present. The present is the gift."

You know the most frustrating (to me) part of his message regarding this approach, which is setting goals in manageable chunks, at least to me is that people have been trying to teach us this my whole life. All through school there were smatterings of education (and maybe I'm one of the luckies in getting those opportunities, I don't know) in goal setting, goal orientation and goal achievement and there's nothing new in what he's saying to us than what I've heard my whole life! This is NOT new information. It just finally is catching people's attention because no one has been paying attention, welcome to hell on earth. Most people just choose to withdraw, for whatever reason, from that responsibility. I have been one of the few who listened to these things, and after a number of years of suffering finally threw up my hands in "who the hell cares anyway? No one is doing this stuff why does it matter?"
Only to find myself after 10 or so years of that in a place exactly like he describes if you don't do these things - HELL. I'm much higher in agreeableness than the average guy so I have knowingly allowed others to abuse me for years, like they think they're getting one over on me... And no, you're not, I'm just letting you because I'd rather not hurt you then do what's right for myself.
He's reminded me of how to get back to that place where I was when I gave up on it because who the hell cares no one is doing that anyway, right? I "GET TO" pick back up there because I get to choose to do it. I get to choose and so does everyone else.
Don't let anyone else's choice stand in the way of yours. Do no harm if possible, but do not allow harm to come to you first, or there is no you left, and that means there's no one else left around you because they're scared of what might happen because you won't even defend yourself, let alone them.
Be yourself no matter what anyone says. The only one higher than you is the highest possible goal attainable - I choose God but you're free to choose whatever you want. Hopefully you're not the highest thing you choose because everyone around you is in trouble if you do.

The present is All there is. The past is gone and yet can be remembered and held. The future isn't real yet can be dreamt of... Where is the present? It too is gone in a moment and yet here you are.

Gordon i do not know if you have ever heard of a parenting model like this but my father had two clear models that he used one was enjoy your childhood and get deep in your childhood fantasies if you wish or you could be grown up and can use every mashine at your hands but then you may not be a child because someone could die my dad taught us that you must devide the one from the other

I think the snake on the staff in the desert means that the evil is just as important as the good because without it there would be no good so don't always pursue the good because by doing so you ignore the evil and that half of God's creation that you didn't take the opportunity to experience.

Do you have any videos on how people can overcome cheating tendencies? People who say that they feel lonely or dejected or rejected instead of turning to their partner to discuss these issues they go on dating websites and look for other people to spend time with. Is this even something fixable? The individual has to want to seek help and make changes. No one else can convince them or push them to do otherwise.
Also why can't they see that their need for other women's attention and approval comes at the cost of hurting their partner? Do they learn if they are taught a lesson? Given a taste of their own medicine? It's difficult to find a man who is not a cheater or a womanizer. The ones I have met all say they are good men but i see that they lack integrity. It's very disappointing. Leading by example does not work for these adult men. I'm not talking about men in general or women in general. Just speaking from my own personal experience.

Im sorry, i misread your ending. I see that youre the committed one now.
My boyfriend only got sober when he lost me. And then later, i got sober when he left me.
We've now been together 10yrs, both sober for the last 7.
It was the hardest thing I've ever done, but losing my partner was more painful than quitting the habits.
Ive also never heard someone say anyone DID something and thats why they got sober. Its always someone STOPPED doing and they LOST something/one. Thats when people change.

As a man with that tendency in the past, allow me to share my view and experience.
Be wary of a man that is quick to tell you how good of a man he is. That's something all of us must show in our behaviours. Many of us believe we are good in our own minds because we don't believe the hurt we cause is because of our behaviour.
I sought relations outside of my marriage because given hindsight I wasn't ready or capable of having a monogamous relationship. I wasn't mature enough to know I was hurting my wife, even when she had no idea what I was doing. I thought it was fine. I also thought I couldn't live without my wife despite my proclivities. I was selfish, it was entirely my wrong doing. While at the time I believed the relationship was lacking, it was my own shortcoming, not my ex wife.
The healing comes from acknowledgement, ownership of my issues and growing up to my responsibilities. Not only physically maturing but emotionally too.
It's too late for my marriage, we've been divorced for a couple of years now. I own my mistakes of youth and will forever regret the hurt I caused my ex wife, though I'm strong enough mentally now to only enter relationships I can give myself to fully.
I could go on for hours but hope this helps a little.
Good luck and prioritise yourself. Don't allow yourself to be second best in a relationship. If you're both on different paths That's not necessarily a bad thing individually, just not the right time for a couple.
      Take care

There is Help as king David who feels said ." My help comes from the Lord". The Lord is real . My husband and I never cheat because to cheat is to cheat yourself. If married in God's eyes We are one flesh! Together we regularly " eat" the scripture together.
The process of receiving Him into your being . Do you have a Bible? See John 13,14+14 +15
