When I hit 43-44 I decided I didn't want to climb the status pole. Unfortunately I did quit, but for a good reason. I went off grid made my own huge garden, hunted my own meat and I put a large pole in the middle of my property .I can sit on the top anytime I want. I started the right habits every morning and then throughout the day and they became routine but I learned that I have to accommodate when I leave my own little world. After 11 years I'm happy.

Biggest reason for that was I showed up 15 mins early every day, leave work with everyone. Work as hard as I could because I had a chance and I wanna grab it. I love Dr P, but, listening to this, it has suddenly hit me why what is being spoken just doesn't seem to work anymore "... in a functioning society..." we don't have one anymore, not in the UK. Society has degraded to a point no one even recognises the place anymore.
After years of fighting and always striving for better and better, I have nothing left. I have applied everything taught, five times over, yet still nothing.
I.hope these videos help those out there that need it. Sadly for me, the time has come.
      Good luck people ❤

I listen to you every morning and I can get up and get to work on myself and my work. Forget those people who judge you on what they're told by others and have never listened to you. The far left is out to destroy everything until we are a cultureless, mindless void. And they think they're the first to attempt it.

Could it be that you serve others as an example of how people should live their lives despite all the setbacks? Why not start seeing yourself as a leader in this way instead of as a loser who is trying very hard to succeed? I wish you the best! I have found it is true that 90% of life is just showing up. It's made up of the mundane to produce good goals and you do that very well, it sounds. Pat yourself on the back.

Jordan Peterson, your words are profound and strike me deeply and have ever since discovering you on the internet. You speak to so many men exactly where we're all at. You cut through the BS and break things down both psychologically and, in my opinion, SPIRITUALLY. Your inspiring speaking makes it's easier to own life's challenges and get going anyway. Thank you falls far short of the appreciation and gratitude I have for you and your work my friend. I believe life is our creation and a result of what we're creating, it's not actually happening TO us. We have all agreed to experience hardship and joy. It seems to give me the confidence that no matter what happens, we will be able to handle it with integrity, compassion and wisdom. Above all, Love for Creation and Mankind🙏

There is so much crap thrown at Jordan Peterson and honestly he’s one of the only people mentally fit to fight all of that crap thrown his way. The minute he said he wanted to find out what it was like to be that person, referencing the polish police who took naked pregnant women out to shoot them, I realised he was a true psychologist. You don’t sweep those people under the carpet, you need to understand them on their very level to be able to make any form of positive change. He is one of the truest psychologists in our time.

Thank you for putting this video together. I'm having a tough time with my final year of university, and this is helping me get through it. The "There's more to me than there is to the catastrophe" part resonates and brings a tear. As a child, I was bullied, beaten, abandoned by my family and sexually abused by others. Somehow, I've managed to unknowingly keep going. I'm in my 40s, recently had therapy, listened to Jordan Peterson, and attended GRIT (UK Charity) sessions. All of these childhood disturbances have enabled me to see the world differently and have led me to set up a social enterprise to improve education for young learners. Hence "There's more to me than there is to the catastrophe" is powerfully true! I'll watch this video every morning. Thank you again!

I left the TV business, bankrupt at 24. I sucked it up and got a 9-5. It was in the mail room. We handled receipts that didn't link to a transaction. It was mind numbing, dreadful work. We were meant to go through 300 an hour. I frequently went through 1000.
One day they asked me "Why are you working so hard?" I said "Please give me more responsibility."
So they made me a Jr. account executive. We were meant to bring in $10k revenue a month. I frequently brought in triple that.
One day they asked me "Why are you working so hard?" I said "Please give me more responsibility."
So they made me a senior production manager. Then an Executive coach. Then a department manager role.
Why am I still working so hard? Give me more responsibility.

I'm a 42 year old man who was born with a personal embarrassing problem that can't be fixed by doctors. Anyway i have let this problem hold me back from enjoying and starting my own life! I have no confidence, no self esteem, no self worth, given up on my goals and dreams. 😢
