😂This is the best UA-cam channel ever. Thank you - don’t know how I didn’t find you sooner! Hilarious and technically perfect. Former Honda Tech turned Architect but I very much rather be mechanicing to Jazz.
www.insta360.com/sal/x3?insrc=INRSVOR I just picked up an Insta 360 GO 3 😁👌 Comes with everything you need including this hat clip I am using. You cannot connect an external mic to this camera however I find the sound to be more than okay (at least better than my phone's mic) You can always use a stand alone mic and sync it in editing if you want better quality audio 👌
What happens if you get a rust belt car with the bolt seized in the bushing, requiring it to be cut? Is still book time? You just take the good with bad and get in with it?
so like i need to replace my CV axle on the front passenger side of my ridgeline.. only problem is OEM has been back ordered for god knows how long ( even online when it say in stock at honda college hill, and other warehouse direct but my order gets cancel after a few days with the same " the part is back-ordered") . Ended up replacing it with aftermarket but that one just crapped out after about 1.5 years...literally in there anything?
very nice video. i have a 2019 pilot with 85kms experiencing a rear thumping noise on road dips. its smooth otherwise on a well paved road. could this be rear control arm? or a strut mount? i find it a harsh ride on a road dips and cracks. any ideas? i wonder what would be the symptoms of a bad control arm. dealership couldnt find the issue so annoying
for my 2016 I had that and it turned out to be sway bar bushings. Cheap and very easy to replace on a hoist, but doable on jacks stands as well. I thought I had a bunch of issues causing it, but it was just those. Hope that helps.
Take it right back and have them check it out. Or take it to another place and have them take pictures of what they find, if it's related to what the other shop replaced, the shop that did it should fix the issue for free
Love the tool set, very clean and organized
Thanks! 🥲👌

I’ve noticed all the pilots over 50k km have torn bushings. Been replacing a bunch of them.
They sure do 😔
Nice work. You and those tools make quick work of that job.
I'm glad you enjoyed 😁
This was good man. Loved it
how are you mounting that camera on yourself? Thinking about getting one. Also does it have a lapel mic option?

Is there a specific torque the bolts should be?
Yes. torque was checked on the alignment rack

Thanks, now I can get it done, and not have to pay the dealership $637.
Does the control arm have to be tightned with suspension on ground or no?
No not with this style
@TEVIDEOS thanks bro. Much appreciated
Wya and how much for same 2011 Pilot? I need all brake lines replaced as well
Can't hear you over the jazz music. Wish the music was lower or gone
Where did you get the hook to pry on the control arms from?
amzn.to/3QgJJr4 😏👌
Awesome work.
What is that hook u use on the control arm?? 2:29
How much does your shop charge to change both lower control arms?
1.5 for these ones
@@TEVIDEOS Ouch. I'm sure that $1,500 I would guess.
Arent you supposed to torque these with the suspension settled?
Yes, I don't know why he didn't
How many hours did u get for that job.
2.6 hours including alignment
@@TEVIDEOS Excuse the prying. What was the gain time. Always curious about about automotive flat rate.
@@fer83381 Took me about 35-45 minutes with align 😗👌
@@TEVIDEOS Hell yea good shit✌️
They more than likely will refurbish those control arms somewhere in some factory
i enjoyed that
Could do without the music or lower the vol.
just had this done and now there's something that sounds loose...

Could be loose sway bar links or worn links
Hard to do in DIY style.
