  • Watch as we review the White Metal/Twin Stack Class A Wood Stove Chimney Pipe components that will help you prepare for installation of this and the interior pipe to go with it. We also have a shorter video review of chimney components posted here • Wood Stove Chimney Ins...
This video reviews the complete process from the stove brochure specifications and owners manual specs thru the series of components for all aspects of a vertical installation. We review the methods of installing single wall stove pipe with a slip connector and optional stove pipe shield for closer clearances or Dura Vent DVL Double Wall stovepipe as another option for closer wall clearances to combustibles. You will find all of these components on our web site ready to order at woodheatstoves.... We do sell a wide variety of other chimney pipe for wood, pellet and gas stoves and only have a small portion of them listed on our web site. Although each brand of chimney differs in their specific components, this video review may be valuable in considering any modern chimney installation. This type of installation is only suitable for a licensed contractor trained in this type of installation. It is my understanding that the single wall pipe adapter goes on the inside. It is the first thing that you put in the box from the other side and the box probably doesn't need to be cut in order to make it fit. That is what the directions for an installation that I'm researching. Turns out they didn't even use the adapter.

question stove pipe cost to much and is waaayyyy to thin , for my metal pole barn shop I want to use 6 inch by 10 ft 16 gauge exhaust pipe as it's only $110 for a 10 ft piece , I may put an 8 inch piece of heat duct sheet metal around it from the roof up to keep the pipe hot ? would this be unsafe ?

We don't recommend sealant pipe for stove pipe and it is not recommended by any pipe manufacturers. The joints seal adequately right out of the box.
Thanks for the compliments. After over 30 years of helping customers understand the details of their stove and chimneys it is fantastic to now reach out so effectively to thousands. We're thrilled that our previous chimney video has had over 20,000 viewings in the last year so we added this one. email us at info at woodheatstovesdotcom

Isn't the roof peak too close and same height (2 feet to closest 10 foot peak or visa versa). Top of pipe seemed too close to peak of roof. Correct me if i'm wrong. Thanks.

I'm trying to remove the wood burning stove pipe inside. It's very close to the bricks and I can't maneuver it out. No twisting allowed and not happening. S shaped. Any suggestions
