Don’t use the burner to melt the cheese, it gives it an odd taste, just find a tray large enough to cover the patties for 5 minutes after you put the cheese on them and let it like that on small heat. It will be tastier. Hope that this will help you improve your recipe! ❤

My local Wendy's might be better, but I couldn't know that as a fact.
