That is wrong. In 82 they used the FLH frame on wide glides. Look where the kick stand is. UP front, Dynas are in the middle of the frame. Back then it was just called an FXWG not FXDWG. I know I bought one in 1981. Dyna frames were introduced in 91 and 1993 launched the FXDWG.
@@DillonBrothers Oh that's OK man we all make mistakes.... I genuinely thought I had it wrong ! It's easy to get things mixed up when talking of old stuff when most of your business concerns new stuff - or at least newer stuff, Dynas are history now !
@@shameless5868 Well yes but of course there were Shovelhead FXR's with the rubbermount Evo frames.... as well as solid mount FXR Shovels... it's all a bit 'mixed up' really. Some Shovels long before the FXR's had rubbermount frames - tourers I think.
Lovely! But paint may not be original? It should be a small bar and shield decal not a bigger badge. Do you mind replying here to this question? Do you also have the original pipes with the balance pipe in center, and bread-box air cleaner? Thanks guys.

Medallion on front fender signifies rhat was the first production run that Harley was back in ownership not AMF. Another fact worth knowing. 👌

@@feather_3711 The frame on the Dynas (FXDWG) are the "box" type and not the tube type on FXWGs.

Yeah. That Dyna crap did not polute the Wide Glide. FXWG production ended in 1985.

Your right, the shovels were not Dynas. The Dyna came after the FXR

You are correct my friend. It has been repainted. We do not have the original exhaust or air box. Wish we did for sure... Thank you for your comment!

"Dynas" didn't exist in 1982. It's a common mistake spread by all those "ebay experts".
