TCL is the way forward. If you have the cash to buy Samsung, go ahead. I have both, always purchased Samsung but tried TCL QM8 because of budget constraints for my sons apartment. It blew me away. 2 week later I picked up the QM7. Picture Calibration is relative to the viewer. I like bright scenes and whites to be white, others may not. Price, Dolby Vision (Had not seen this before since I only had Samsung) Brightness, Contrast, True Whites and a slew of menus to adjust each setting has convinced me I no longer need to buy high end names to get the quality I need.

I also own a c855 mini led tcl from pase past 2 years suddenly my tcl display is damaged without any reason the screen went black suddenly. And then I bought s90d 4 days back. Believe me I never seen a picture quality like s90d mind blown colours and brightness and picture quality
@@Quantum_TV curious to hear why you prefer 65 over 77? Panel quality? I actually had a difficult time deciding as I had the opportunity to purchase a 77 s90d for only $488 more but ultimately decided to stick with 65. Besides cost, I figured with average viewing distance of 7ft while not as immersive, the 65 pixel density may look sharper in most content (UA-cam/streaming).
I'm shopping for a 98" tv, the QM8 seems like an amazing TV, but the QM7 is nearly half the price. Is the QM8 worth almost double? Watching in a dark theater room
Also the qm8 is glossy screen and qm7 is simi gloss. I think the gloss from qm8 makes it looks more shiny & pops like 3D with shinny blacks which I like.. I saw this side by side… I think I will lean toward qm8
All well and good. The Samsung really does look nicer here! But what's the use if the build quality and processor performance simply lag behind other brands?
Hey Q Are you going to review the hisense U7n any time soon? Would love to see tcl QM7 and Hisense u7n against each other. I am deciding between both of then at the moment, and need to buy one along side you calibration settings
I wouldn’t lead you wrong. You just bought the king of tv. Just make sure you join the channel membership to see what I’m talking about, because out of the box it looks like crap.
@Quantum_TV No chance. Tyson has way too much respect for boxing to ever take a dive-especially for someone like Jake Paul. Tyson’s never been that kind of guy, and he won’t start now. This fight’s actually gonna be something to watch because, for the first time since the ‘80s, he’s getting in the ring because he wants to. The whole second half of his career, he was burned out-no passion left, deep into addiction, just collecting a paycheck. But now, Tyson’s got nothing to prove and no need for money; he’s in it purely for himself. Sure, Jake has the age advantage, but I’m still betting Tyson knocks him out early.

Hey Quantum looking into S90D between 65 or the 77 inch. Which would you prefer? Definitely will be joining the team for 5$ after I get mine this week

So this is basically the qm8 from last year with a matte finish? Or is it still a step below that?
This is a step above and there is no matte screen on the tcl qm7.
So im better off with the qm7 then the qm8 for gaming or go with Hisense
How do you call the Tyson vs Jake Paul fight? I think it's going to be a cakewalk for Tyson, early knockout either in round 1 or 2.
I think they go a few rounds and Tyson goes down to help launch Jake's career.
