I loved your video. What model Echomap did you end up installing of the two you have listed, 5 or 7 inch? Do you think a 9" would also fit in the console area? Noticed from the description they can connect wirelessly to a FORCE trolling motor but the stock one on the boat is a Minn Kota so do you have plans to upgrade the trolling motor for GPS someday and is there a trick to connecting to these graphs? Finally, in this video (or maybe it was the other upgrade video) you mentioned some screws to match what was on the boat. What are those?
I went with the 53cv, I had the 73sv on my previous boat but I didn't get much value from the side scan so I went with the downscan only model this time. 9in I think would fit fine, 7in would be a great size as well. For screws they would be stainless pan head screws.

With your current setup of Garmin UHD2 chartplotter and Minn Kota Terrova with new Advanced GPS and heading sensor, what Advanced GPS features are you still missing (i.e. no Humminbird chart plotter)? Trying to determine if I want to do both your upgrades or just the trolling motor and go with Humminbird depending on the additional features that would give.
Hey man awesome video! I just bought my v16 WT this weekend and I have purchased a Garmin ECHOMAP Ultra 126SV Fish Finder/Chartplotter Combo with GT54 Transducer and the Riptide terrova but have not recieved them yet.
Do you think the Garmin 12 inch is gonna fit in the console area?
It should fit under the glass but you might need a riser to fit the geometry of the top of the console. Awesome upgrades! I love my Terrova and Echomap
Don’t you void the warranty by installing or doing any work yourself
Depends on what you are doing and if what you do damages something. Running a new transducer cable or reusing the same drill holes would not affect the warranty.
