What do you think of the Alienware AW3423DWF ? There is a deal on Amazon (Well, over here in Britain & Ireland there is) at the moment - it's going for €812 ($882)
Here are the advertised stats =
34 Inch WQHD (3440x1440) 21:9 1800R Curved Gaming Monitor, 165Hz, QD OLED, 0.1ms, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, 99.3% DCI-P3, HDR400, 2x DisplayPort, 1x HDMI, 5x USB, 3 Year Warranty
Hey I was a little confused you had said you were exposed to OLED on the MacBook Pro, as of the current M3 Pro/Max 14 and 16 inch versions, they are still using Mini-LED technology.
Although a future update (seeing that the new M4 IPads have received OLED screens, might mean the next gen MacBook Pro may receive the update to the screen.
Great video though, I didn’t expect to see affordable OLEDs so this is good news!
For oled to get affordable it should cost around 300 to 400 dollars, and that will happen only when a new technology comes to the market and dethrones oled technology
You’re absolutely right!
Yeah
yeah, the macbook pro definitely does NOT have an oled display.
I hope MacBooks get OLED one day. For now, the only Apple Products with OLED are the iPhones, Watches, and new iPads Pro.
watching this on a va panel plugged througha VGA cable
What panel?
Honestly, depending on the monitor and source, the difference between VGA and HDMI isn't really that noticeable. Usually it's just text having a slightly blurry outline when viewed up close.
But its 729 $ the examples you show are like 700/800 as well. So I don't see your affordability here lol
It was $680 when I bought it
@@KianTechReviews yup $729 and its a temporary discount from $999, so no, this video is wrong, they are not cheaper. also $680 is not a cheap monitor, $400 for an oled would be scratching the cheap surface.
Putting anti-reflective coating on displays is the biggest crime to humanity ever. It makes any display look like it's from Walmart.
