    Fabulous!! I congratulate you for seeing it through to the end! I too had to do a spot of wiring, when i "accidentally" snapped my indicator stalk off going down a country lane a tad too fast in winter! Had to rewire the lights back to get me through, and then as MOT approached and told the part for the entire indicator stalk unit was almost £400 before labour.. I discovered a UA-cam video on how to disengage my airbag safely, and take off the steering wheel to install a £50 almost new second hand part from a scrap dealer! Installed, and checked out by local car mechanic to ensure i put it back ok and set the steering wheel correctly. Jobs a goodun'!! Satisfaction through the roof! 😂😂 And for a lass with a soldering iron /the right hex screwdriver, a second hand part, a UA-cam video and nerve to give it a go... I salute you! 💂 ❤ Now rats.. They hate strong smells like bleach or garlic. They mark up areas with their scent, so mask it wirh stuff they don't like 🐭🐁😂

    Those rats are another issue. You better keep the bastards out of your house especially if their as cagey as it seems they are. Damn- I still don't believe you fixed it.

    You need to leave the rat traps for a couple of days so they get used to its presence.

    One thing I’ve found through my life is asking the question after a solution has been found. For example did you use your heat sensor camera in your investigation of the wiring? Electric running through wire = hot, no electric = cold.
    Also will you be using the heat camera as night vision to aid the killing of the rats?

    • @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT
      @THE-AIDEN-PROJECT  7 місяців тому

      I never thought of using it for the wiring although that sounds like a good idea 👍 I have definitely thought about using the IR camera for the rats though 🙌 I'm going to have to be pretty close though I think but I'm hoping a combination of that and a red lamp will get me by, otherwise I'll need a night vision scope

    Congrats dude, persistance paid off!! A tip with the rats (if you’re not a good shot! 😜), save some ash from a fire/wood burner and when it’s dry sprinkle it along the walls around where you see them running about. They can’t stand the ash on them or in their fur and they bugger off somewhere else. Was an old tip a pig farmer gave me when I got infested with the buggers when I got some chickens and it worked a treat!.
