VIA Rail's New Fleet - Train 33 Kicks up Snow in Revenue Service - 1000 Subscribers!

VIA Rail's new fleet rips through Glen Robertson on the Alexandria Subdivision with Cab Car 2301 in the lead. Today they are running the new fleet in revenue service as train 33 from Montreal to Ottawa. These are the new passenger trainsets that will be replacing VIA's current fleet in the Quebec City - Windsor corridor. Currently there have been 3 delivered so far, with another 29 to go.

VIA 2701 Economy Class
VIA 2901 Business Class
VIA 2601 Business Class
VIA 2202 Charger Locomotive

The fact VIAs chargers so far seem to be able to operate in the cold makes me think that the Issues Amtrak has with their chargers have more to do with the Chicago maintenence base than the Chargers themselves

I assume it’s eastbound since it’s cab car forward

33 is a westbound train. I dont know if the cab car means a specific direction or not.
