I loved this! Read these in 6th grade and I remember feeling like it was a fitting last unfortunate event that we didn’t get all the answers. Felt it was poetic.
I loved this series as a kid, and I feel like I took many lessons from its perspective with me through my life - the framework I've used to face the unknown and the unfortunate was given language and conviction by these novels. Great series that you've honored so well with this project - such a moving video.
I have been WAITING for this one!! I read the books once and have been thinking about a reread ever since! Buuut I have watched the Netflix show about 3 times 🙊 5:36 Yesss I love doing this. Crunchy Bro I loved Monty 😭 R.I.P to a real one. Even tho he was kind of dumb too lol Aunt Josephine! I think about that girl all the time 🤣 I feel her on a spiritual level 10:51 👀 I love the cover of the Miserable Mill. He looks so silly Lemony does all the sudden drop so many hints and JUST when you think he is about to give you the tea he says "actually no I cant say" -____- Esme is ICONIC 30:35 A CLUE! HAHA 37:53 IM SICK of Mr. Poe 🙄 "what is the sugar bowl?" GIRL, IM MAD AGAIN THINKING ABOUT IT. It haunts me to this day. 45:43 Dang you really called that 😅 "Esme is horrible and my favorite character" YOU GET IT 🙏 R.I.P. To literally every character in book 12 Charles and Sir are boyfriends for sure 💯 1:06:51 🙆♀🙆♀ you know what, I forgot we didn't know Beatrice was the mom the whole time 🤣😅 bro why am i tearing up at up tearing up? I THINK that the man with a beard and no hair and the woman with hair but no beard started the Baudelaire Fire 6,7 &12 are my favesss I heard that you get many more answers from Lemony Snicket: The Unauthorized Autobiography but I have not read it yet. Release the 5 hour footage 🙂↕
You should do a reread!! I feel like it would be such a different experience as an adult! Josephine and Monty are honestly the best! All the covers are soo good!! 10/10 illustration I LOVE ESME. Seriously, if I was a kid reading these and asked what I want to be when I grow up, I'd just say "The wicked girlfriend w/impeccable style" 💅 OOOOH if the man with the beard and the woman yadda yadda started it, that would make a lot of sense! So Olaf was an evil opportunist 💀 6, 8 & 12 are my favourites I think. TBH most of those 5hrs was me gleefully reading aloud nearly all of book 6 and stammering about my obsession and confusion😂 I honestly cant stop thinking about the elevator goodbye scene. My partner is being so good about listening to me spontaneously monologue about how good it was lol 😂 I just put a hold on the Unauthorised Autobiography because I NEED TO KNOW 🥲 Starting the TV series tonight. lol.
@@StephMorgan_ okay I am convinced 🤣 Can't wait for you to watch the show to see all the fits come to life! AND her and Carmileta are perfectly annoying together. I love it Bless your partner for real!! You should make them watch the show with you 🤣 OKAY I WILL START IT TOO so we can discuss (autobio)
So fun fact, I used to always have to put my hair up like Violet whenever I needed to think and focus on something...but I could never get it to work with a ribbon so always used a hair tie instead 🤣I dreamed of being like Violet when I was growing up and thought I would be an inventor like her Ugh the second book was so devastating. Uncle Monty was one of my favorite guardians for them and was so frustrated when Count Olaf showed up! I feel like the movie and then the Netflix TV show erased my memory of how quickly it took for Uncle Monty to get killed off in the book 😪It has been a long time since I read the series, but from what I remembered, I felt like the Netflix series did a great job with the show. Maybe because I'm biased and LOVE Neil Patrick Harris, but I thought he did an amazing job as Count Olaf Mr. Poe was soooooo incredibly frustrating and by far my least favorite unhelpful adult 🤣 Watching this really makes me want to re-read the books again. Such a wonderful video and I had so much fun seeing your reactions to this! I'm so glad you shared this with us 💕💕 Selfishly I'm hoping you do create these characters through the Sims and share it with us. I also go through spurts on the Sims and haven't played since the cottage pack came out
Oh that is so charming! I have ridiculously slippery hair so I was trying to imagine how she could have managed to keep a ribbon in while I was reading - suspension of disbelief I guess 😂 Monty was a great character! I've got to start watching the tv series pronto! I didn't realise Neil Patrick Harris was Olaf! Oh you should reread them! they were honestly so fun! hehehe I'm still tempted to redownload the sims👀
@@StephMorgan_ I have no idea either! My hair is slippery as well which is why I had to use a hair tie instead. 🤣 He is! And he did an amazing job!!😍 I'm very tempted...I was looking to see how many books might've been available at the used bookstore yesterday! 👀100% support this
I remember being so frustrated by not getting all of the answers by the end of the series
omg yes as a kid that would have driven me insane 😂😭 It's still taking up an unreasonable amount of my mental space lol
I loved this! Read these in 6th grade and I remember feeling like it was a fitting last unfortunate event that we didn’t get all the answers. Felt it was poetic.
oh that's so true! I love that way of looking at it
I was absolutely invested in figuring out this mystery, even though I’ve never read these books 😂
ahaha its so good 😅 I actually think you might enjoy this series! Its so funny and cosy in a gently melancholic way!
