The movie received a 12 minute standing ovation at The Cannes Film Festival Tuesday night. Followed by an incredible drone light show at the afterparty.
I have seen the movie. Austin was phenomenal! He deserves an Academy Award.

I actually loved this trailer more than the first and am so excited to see it!! And the fact that Priscilla, Lisa Marie, and Riley Keough all said that it's fantastic and have their stamp of approval.. then I'm all in! Can't wait for this movie!

I’m super excited for the film, I think it will be great but take that stamp of approval with a grain of salt. They also gave their approval to the cirque du soleil elvis show years ago here in vegas and it was a train wreck that closed quickly.

I’m excited to see it. I cried when I saw the trailer. Because, I grew up with my parents. And they always played a lot of oldies and Elvis Presley’s songs. And my mom was a really big fan. We would see Elvis Presley’s movies and everything that they would show of Elvis. My mom would always want it. Till this day my mom still has all his Vinyls. She told me the day Elvis died. She cried for days. But, watching the trailer brought back good memories of my mom. Can’t wait to see this movie. She’s bo longer with us. But, I will go and watch it for my mom. ♥️♥️♥️

This movie feels like Amadeus, where the villian is telling the story. I might actually go to the theater to see it and I haven't been to movies since Dunkirk.

The movie is supposed to be around 2 hours, 30 minutes long, but don't be surprised if there is a "Director's Cut" or "Bonus Footage" for its eventual DVD release.
I hope so. Baz said he wanted it to be three hours but the studio wanted it shorter.

So yes. He made more and it ended when Elvis died, it was ended in the Will. I hope they put to rest the idea that he stole the music and was racist. He wasn't. I'm looking forward to the Movie💗

Elvis was the highest paid artist during that time and the colonel took a big percentage out of Elvis share and it’s sad because he manipulated him throughout the career and Elvis was so loyal and blinded by what was going..so sad that someone had to be treated like that

That is a myth. The Colonel took more than most managers but he didn’t make more than Elvis.

Hopefully this movie is as long as JFK ... 4 Hours at least!! ... Because how can you tell the life story of Elvis is a short movie?! There was to much of his life to tell.
2.5 hours length time
There is so much to Elvis's life, impossible to fit into 1 movie, there would easily have been enough content to have made it into a trilogy, the 50s, 60s, and 70s, However, it's not a typical biopic, I understand it's a movie focusing mainly on the relationship between Elvis and his manager, so no doubt there will be quite a lot left out, and some might not like the stylized type movies Baz creates, but I'm still looking forward to seeing Austin's portrayal of the King!
However good the movie is, it's still another Elvis impersonator trying to be Elvis. You just can't top the real thing, so I'd rather watch videos of his concerts and leave the rest. Nice that Priscilla liked it though.
Shes an Elvis fan?? Didnt she notice that this guy looks, sounds, moves nothing like Elvis?? Terrible Casting!! Elvis was also so likeable something Butler definitely is not.
