Some of the oils that you were buying off of Amazon were most likely ment for burning oil or body oil but are cut more with dpg sometimes so the smell is not as strong. The people who sell those kind of oils on amazon usually don't go direct to manufacturer so they may not have the strongest oils. The candle companies do go direct to manufacturer so you get a more potent scent that absorbs better.. I have been dealing in oils for many years.
I am like you. Just starting out. I did order some things from amazon and sent them back. I ordered from Texas candle company. You were very informative and I’m glad I found you. Thank you for telling me before I made those costly mistakes.
Ty ty ty....I wasted a lot of beads and oils by not knowing the right measurements. I appreciate u just being honest 💕 The majority of people I looked at told the wrong way or just want u to watch them work, ty again and God Bless u
That was super helpful and you already saved me money! I wish I would have got to see you add the dye after the sent was fully absorbed to see how much? 2-3 drops ?
Thanks for making such a helpful and informative video. I been wanting to make some of these and this is one of the best videos even though it didn't have a lot of views yet.
There is a duck or something making noise at the 18:50 min mark and I had to pause this video 3 times before I realized that it was not my backyard chickens. It’s late here while I’m watching this and I kept thinking something was wrong since my chickens are usually asleep! 😂
First off OH MYLANTA! You are so lucky to have a ben franklin! Ours closed many many years ago :( ..now, thank you for such an informative video! I cannot wait to get started...I do have one question. If you have your made up beads in the mason jar. Do job have to use those Beads right away? Or can some stay in the jar for a while?
Completely cured aroma beads then using liquid dye. Should i allow beads to dry after i add the liquid then bake? Or can I bake as soon as I add the liquid dye?
So after they have dried do you still have to cure them longer or are they ready to bake I follow pages on fb and lots say once dried then curing starts then for a week or 2?
I've used hot glue to add ribbon or little buttons. And so far I haven't had any issues with that melting. I have not tried the puffy paint yet. I know that it is possible for them to melt in extreme heat.
so my dumbass thought I was baking my freshies on a non stick pan. Turns out its definitely not non stick lol. Any ideas on how to get these things off my pan?
i started making freshies and i use powder pigment color as you recommended and for some reason my freshies lose their color after a few days? i’m not sure why at all. i was wondering if you’d have an idea why they do this.
I know some colors will fade in the sunlight over time. But im not sure why after a few days. Maybe you could try a different brand of powder. I personally like Mad micas brand
Each scent has a different curing time. So it really just depends on the scent. Some will dry in a few days and some take a week or so. Personally I like to add the color after they are fully dry and then bake them. I hope this helps
Hi! After they’re fully cured, you can add the color? And how long do you have to wait to bake them after you added color,? Do you use mica powder? Or liquid dye?
Hey! So yes I wait until the beads have completely dried before I add the color. I prefer powder color. But I just add the amount of beads for the freshie in a solo cup and put a little color in and shake it up to color it. Then I just go ahead and add it to the cookie cutter and bake it. I just color what I'm using at the time.

Much mahalo for sharing this valuable information as I am beginning and knowing this is very helpful.
Thank you for this video!
Hello Thank you so much for your videos. Did you tell us how much fragrance oil per freshie 4-5" cutters?
Great video. I want to make these for Christmas 🎄 gifts this year! I was already looking at Lone Star Candel Company for supplies. Take care!
Could you use silicone molds?

Where do you buy your cookie cutters from? Could you leave a link?
Where did you get the “black ice” fragrance?
Where do you buy the aroma beads from? There’s so many out there that aren’t good quality.
Go Vols!
What brands did you not like???
Using and entire ounce of fragrance oil seems like it would cut into profit margin. Could you use any less?
My aroma beads are not soaking up all the oil can I add more beads it’s been 10 days
So after they have dried do you still have to cure them longer or are they ready to bake I follow pages on fb and lots say once dried then curing starts then for a week or 2?
Ahhhh why is that baby crying through the entire video?! 😱
My son was in bed when I filmed so im not sure what you are hearing lol
How long does the scent last after it has been baked?
Depending on the scent they can last up to a month if made properly.
What powder brand do you use ?
My freshies lose the smell after I put them in the oven please help
Best place to buy beads??
How do you decorate them, with rhinestones, etc? I have seen people use puffy paint, hot glue. But won’t that melt off in the heat? 🤷♀️

Do you have social media? Love your videos girl.
