I just test drove this model and was blown away by the ride , comfort, power & quiet cabin . I own a new Lexus GX (23) & this QX 80 is another level and happy a truck guy like yourself loved it
Had mine for a month and it's amazing also have had LX and currently still have a GX this vehicle is amazing the more time you spend in it. Very good job! Worth every cent
I love it people complain about the price but honestly everything in that segment is over $100,000. At least this thing is made in Japan and has good quality unlike Cadillac we have a 22QX 60 and we absolutely love it. A thing is a vault on wheelswhen we’re ready for something else 80 is definitely on our list. People may say that the gas mileage is not very good but honestly if you baby that QX 80 you could easily get 24 25 miles per gallon on the highway.
I like the look and design; looks good in that colour. I don't need anything like that anymore but still appreciate it for what it is. Wow, that is a lot of HP and torque under the hood....... me like 😈
Wait 2 years and buy it for half. Get a lease return with about 24,000 miles and it will have a extendeed warranty. If you can get over having to drive the newest and greatest for 2 years these large SUVs loose more value than almost any other vehicle.
I didn't see anything that makes it a $113,000 value. Yes, it may have been improved, but so to has the price. The previous was not exactly the best buy either, but more in line with competition. I saw an all black autograph version. You can't see any detail because all the trim is black. The inside is all shades of black/gray. No trim or wood tone or much of anything else to help accent and differentiate between areas. The exterior styling does not resonate with me primarily because it is so square and upright (it looks really bulky to me). My observations are all from the black one I saw on the lot. The QX60 looks far better and is just as good, a lot better deal, and perfectly usable if you don't absolutely need the larger/taller vehicle that is the QX80. An ironic thing to me is that the screen upfront has a separator in it. The new Buick Enclave does not....and looks more finished and integrated as a result.
@@drn13355 A complete redo. I mean, what is special about it? Color selection? No, only 5 colors offered on Luxe trim. Interior color selection? No, only two : generic black and black upper and lower tan color. Exterior colors: still charge an extra fee. Exterior styling is not very unique in that it is minimalist, modern design but doesn't evoke any emotion: it's neutral. It's big and bulky are the other best descriptors. The higher you go trim-wise the more that is blacked out having the effect of blending into the background rather than popping out and creating interest in the design. What makes this worth $113K? It mainly has a lot of the same features of lower priced vehicles, but at a higher price. Minimal differences/upgraded performance/quality differences.
Can you give me any car in this segment that cost for example 90-100 k fully loaded ( as a luxury car ) not Chevy or Nissan or Toyota ? Lexus and Cadillac is about 130k

Coming from a GX owner that's quite the thing. How come you were testing? That GX is quite nice.
@@malifestro3319 I want something larger and the LX & my GX are to far behind on tech ,

I’m amazed they haven’t gone bankrupt, let alone have a refresh at this level. Impressive.

A lot of people are out of touch with current pricing. This vehicle is incredible bargain relative to the competition.

They did a fantastic job with this refresh. A little surprised they didn’t go with power running boards though for that price.
I’ll take the armada and save a ton of money but it’s nice
Thanks for the review. How do you think towing will be compare to the competition?

It's nice but I'm still not psychologically ready to cross the 100K barrier and tbh I'll probably die before I am.
For a price of 113,075, it should come with a chauffeur.
@@jimharrison3552 yup!
Is it better than the Escalade, in your opinion?
Can't justify spending 100k for an up badged Nissan
Id grab a Genesis and save 40k
They don’t even compete

What would you need to "see" to make this worth 113K?

Damn I was thinking right around 100k. But 113k is not worth it

Wow, Goober test drove this $100K truck for 5 minutes...I am sure Infiniti got their monies worth here.....LOL...
LOL @ 5 minutes. Where in the hell did you get that idea??

It’s beautiful but not worth 113K it’s an SUV not a Porsche. Buy a used one in 1-2 yrs for half
a full size Porsche is well over $113k. Non-luxury American SUVs are basically $100k, this QX80 is a bargain. Hell, a loaded LX600 is $130K!

With inflation yor lucky if you get one with same price these dayz
Every single vehicle competing in its class is more expensive so how is it not worth it?
