Played Solatorobo some time ago. Don't get me wrong, I instantly fell in love with the characters, it's very graphically impressive for a DS game, and it's got A LOT of content... But it gets repetitive. All you do is grab stuff and throw it. Sometimes you get to shoot stuff or fly, but very rarely. It's a solid foundation for a game that can definitely be improved upon.

Not necessarily my favorite, but I love that Square-Enix remade and released games like the Dragon Quest/Final Fantasy series on the Nintendo DS. In my eyes, those games, along with Contra 4, Metal Slug ganes, Mario Kart DS, and several other games, have given additional value one of my all-time favorite dedicated handheld systems.

This video popped up on my recommendations, and I have to say thank you for including "Fossil Fighters" on the list. It's one of my favorite DS games, and definitely a series that's severely underrated. Having played the newest one on 3DS, makes me hope for a new one on the Switch! I'd love to get my nephew even more into dinosaurs this way. :)

I would say pokemon mystery dungeon is pretty well known as it was a series even before the DS. However, pokemon conquest is one of my favorite games EVER and is severely underated. I suggest everyone give it a try! It's very fun an a completely different take on classic pokemon.

Runter Ranger that surprises me as mystery dungeon was basically my Pokémon childhood and way more interesting to me in story(I love explorer of sky’s)

I'm glad that I was able to buy my copy at a local GameStop back in 2011, which I decided to purchase after hearing all about it in an issue of Nintendo Power before the game was released, and it even came bundled with a CD soundtrack containing music from the game.

To anyone reading this there are two more games that I believe are underrated and would recommend myself. 1: Drawn to Life. If you want a surprisingly impactful story and simple gameplay, this is the game for you. 2: The Legendary Starfy. It’s a simple marine platformer game. I just like it, if you have an extra 15$, go to GameStop and pick up a copy
"Drawn To Life" is definitely one of my favorite games to play on the Nintendo DS, and I'll admit that the ending actually made me cry after completing the game myself.

You need to add a sidenote that solatorobo is a dsi exclusive. The game needed the extra processing power that the dsi version offered at the time. Although it was playable via a hack in normal ds.
Funny I never got the chance to buy Dustforce but once I heard the intro to the video I instantly remembered the song from the short time I had with the demo had to pause and look it up to see if I was correct, YUP 9-Bit expedition 😁
Another Code is Trace Memory in the US.. Fossil Fighter is a good game especially when you are cleaning the fossils using the stylus on the touch screen, this is one of the best DS games I enjoyed a lot the other one will be Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow..

I learned about Solatorobo: Red the Hunter for the Nintendo DS and it's predecessor Tail Concerto for the original PlayStation One, both games are quite hidden gems and I would love to play them, and they had good reviews from what I found out online, the reason it went under the radar was probably due to a lack of marketing, and plus it was also because of the then new Nintendo 3DS along with Super Mario 3D World, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D, as well as The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword for the Nintendo Wii which were all released in the same year blow it out of the water, that and Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Nintendo Wii which was released a year prior. And the reason Tail Concerto also went under the radar was also due to a lack of marketing, and plus the first Spyro the Dragon game for the original PlayStation One, Banjo Kazooie for the Nintendo 64, The original The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time N64 game all blow it out of the water. And dude those were best sellers for their time! And did you know that both Tail Concerto and Solatorobo: Red the Hunter are from a game series called the Little Tail Bronx series? And I find those games interesting. And did you also know that Cyberconnet2 is working on it's third installment called Fuga: Melodies of Steel? And it has quite a legacy.

I'd add Advance Wars: Days of Ruin in this list. The game is the most balanced of the series with CO Powers not as broken as what came before (except for Caulder but he's literally the final boss and he's banned online.) Single player content was very lacking though compared to what came before it. But it had online multiplayer
