People say, "Martin's walk is so cute," is stupid. So he's small, big deal. He's got a "dodgy leg" as he says from childhood. He knows a hell of a lot about fashion, hence the cravat. Martin is very witty and cheeky in this interview, very refreshing to watch; not that he isn't normally witty, I feel like he controlled this interview rather than be seated as the interviewee. Very entertaining, and what an admirable personality.
Martin Freeman is a very endearing person to watch. Great as Bilbo, Watson, also in a dark setting like Fargo, his screen presence gives out a relaxing feeling.
On almost every talk show I have seen him on the host and him are passing back and forth insults and thats the whole show. The only reason it works is that both people have the same humor otherwise it would just be rude and innapropriate. He isn't cocky and rude, it's just his type of humor.

It's hilarious, I've just watched loads of interviews with Benedict and been blown away by his polite manners and now I stumble upon Martin being so... sassy. I've only just jumped on the Sherlock bandwagon a few months ago, and I know everybody probably feels like this, but both Martin and Benedict are such lovely people, seem utterly fantastic people to hang out with (I'm just imagining Ben muttering "don't be rude" occasionally when Martin's being sarcastic, they seem great fun).
Since I'm from the US I was familiar with him and had seen several of his movies but had never seen any interviews. So even though I've loved him for years, I never knew how absolutely hilarious and charming he is until this moment. DEAD.
Mr. Freeman is very very snarky at times so I think, aside from the politics of the show, they're feeding off of each other's personalities. I actually love watching Freeman interviews because of his sense of humor :)
