I would bet the parents kids were acting up on the bus and the driver wrote them up but the school did nothing. The kids figured they could continue to act up until the driver decided to dismiss them off the bus. Kids get home and only tell the parent their side of the story. Parent gets upset the school doesn’t respond to him so he decides to confront the bus driver in person. The parent board the bus and the drive doesn’t know who the parent is and places himself between the students and the man. As soon as the parent boarded the bus he became a threat and should be jailed for his action.

As a bus driver that parents had no business insade that bus!!. We have parents treating the drivers because their kids don't know how to act. Parent! Understand that the driver's job is not only to deliver your child from home to school, and back priority #1 is safety!. Here is a list of things that kids do inside and outside the bus, that is a no! no in my bus.
    1: Standing in the bus
2:putti their hands, head, or yea the torso out the window or perhaps sitting on the window while the best is in motion! Parent will you imagine, yes, it happens every day.
    3:fitting,cursing,billing other kids not permitted.
4:Drugs and smoking in the bus are not permitted.
5:Running in the bus throwing objects.
6: Jumping from seat to seat or standing on the seat.
    7: Cutting the seat belts
8:shap objects or guns not permitted, climbing in the through the window after drop off. Opening the emergency back door while the bus is running. Yes, all these things happen every single day to us, and let me make this clear: these are the "regula" kids' behavior, spitting at other people walking in the street from the bus is another terrible thing I had to addressed deal with student. The bus is not a playground, is not their home, is a source of transportation with more regulations than a normal vehicle, prepare your child respect the bus the same way you will for for school and the school should do bus siminars for students and parents every semester that should be another grade in their report cards. Because the school doesn't end at dismissal, it ends after we finish every drop of.

He bullied his way on the bus and now is acting like a victim. I am a school bus driver and would have called the police right away!!!! All parents should know that once a child crosses the threshold their child is now in the custody of the school bus driver and when they get to school their children are than in the custody of the school, LEAGALLY. The children are 100% the drivers responsibility. Maybe the driver felt like the kids and himself were in danger so he protected the kids and himself the best way he could. The driver is a man and probably thought he could handle the situation but that backfired. The father should definitely get into some kind of trouble and have to pay for all of the drivers time off, medical bills and pain and suffering. How would that father feel if another parent got on the bus and did what he did while HIS child was on the bus!?!? 100% unacceptable!

He purposely got on that bus to confront the driver because the driver dared to kick his kid off the bus. What did he expect..the driver to take his crap? I'm sure the bus driver was already fed up with all the disrespectful passengers he gets all day.

He should’ve never gotten on the bus. I don’t care what his reasons are. He handled it the wrong way. You should not have got on that bus and had a confrontation in front of those kids with that bus driver. You can’t possibly be defending them from anything by setting such an incredibly bad example of how to act.

The child will learn his bad ways. She was acting out and dad wants to intervene or curtail any disciplinary action. Once the principal 1:01 said they would address the issue he shouldve let them handle it. He couldve asked the principal and driver for a meeting. Having a discussion >on the bus< while the driver was trying to drop off kids was not the right move. Dont coddle these kids!

  • @Mongo76

Man whatever. He trying to act like the driver was somehow wrong to get up. The parent was the aggressor. He got on that bus in that mans face aggressively. What person in their right mind would see someone come at them aggressively, stand over them and just remain seated? Hell yes the driver got up he was supposed to. This man thought he was going to get on the bus, talk loud, and swing his dreads and that was supposed to intimidate the driver. It didn't and he was lost then. The parent also hit the driver first.
I can see why his spawn got kicked off the bus. Im sure they act just like him.
That parent should thank his lucky stars that driver didn't have that tire iron in his hand when he hit him. He'd prolly be walking around looking like a Lopsided Eggbert.

He was wrong, I don’t have a problem with him defending himself but it never should have got that far to begin with,my whole point is they should have shown restraint no matter the cost because of the kids,if anyone of those kids would have got hurt(wild punches, broken glass, disengaging the brakes, etc)then they’re would have been some real problems, and the bus driver is required to act professionally,I agree the parent started the issue and drivers need to be on their guard, but this could have been handled differently
