I'm telling you ... the mother and stepfather ARE KEEPING SECRETS .... they had a big argument with her .... she left the house at 7pm... and no one went after her to stop her .... idk I call poor parenting
Most of the time if parents chase after their kids, it makes the situation 10x worse. That's how you guarantee your kid will never tell you anything. No one reasonably expects their kid to go and take their own life after leaving the house following an argument. It's not the parents' fault. The teenager is old enough to know better and know what she's doing - there's clearly more involved with her mental health and what's built up to this point to lead her down that road. It's a tragedy for everyone involved, and you're a real heartless person if, by default, your amateur sleuthing tells you to take a giant dump on people you know nothing about over the death of their daughter.
My deepest condolences on the loss of your beautiful and precious daughter. May God and His Angels surround you and your family during the most difficult time in your life. My only son was murdered and he was 18. I was numb for months.

I’m so shocked, thought maybe she was murdered by some bad guy she ran into, but now finding out that she actually killed herself at only 17. Very, very sad. What could possibly make a 17-year-old girl kill herself just like that? No matter what it is, the mom is definitely not a good mom.😡
This is terrible!!! The mom and step dad both beed to be held accountable for her death. Especially the news said they were both in law enforcement and his guns were easily accessible to her!!!!!

This is beyond heartbreaking. Certainly all the signs were there that she was depressed. The mother and stepdad are to blame for her taking her life. Her mother for not getting her daughter help and the father should be in jail for her gaining access to a firearm. Take her sister out of that household immediately. In all of the videos on the news they were downplaying the minor argument they had with her when she was still considered missing. No small argument would lead to going out to the desert and taking your life. It was not a minor argument dad knows what is was about and said something about it here. When someone takes their life there are always signs the adults here need to be charged regardless of color or career position they hold
Her biological father needs to sue the stepfather for not locking up the gun and have it easily accessible to a minor! Sounds suspicious that something wasn't right in the home where Jennaleah lived.
How they decide so quick that she was the one who used the gun and not somebody else, who later place her in that spot to stage all and hide his/her crime!?
You need to investigate this dad. Something is wrong with all this. Sorry for your lost. If you have another child get custody of her. Don't take any chances. RIP little angel God has you.
The mom seemed to be Acting distraught, while the father is truly expressing grief. I wonder what the real story is here? Why did they withhold info from the father and why "couldn't" he see his daughters? (Busy working, health issues, court order, or the mother prevented it?) Very tragic.
This is so heartbreaking and tragic. For everyone saying the parents had something to do with this, did you pause the video at 1:24 and read the police report? The argument had to do with Jenna's boyfriend, and her mom took her cellphone. The report said there was "negative suicidal ideation from Jennaleah during the argument", i.e. she might have said she wished she were dead or something of that nature. Some kids say things like that when they're upset. I know I did. After the argument Mom and stepfather went out from around 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Jenna was gone when they got home. They looked at the security cam footage and it showed Jenna left the house around 6:48pm. Stepfather said he'd seen his gun that morning, and noticed when Jennaleah was gone so was his firearm. They found the suicide note and called the police. The stepfather was even out looking for her. Were any of you ever teenagers? My parents divorced when I was 12, and I had a lot of mental and emotional issues throughout my teens. Lots of teens don't think things through, they just react. Maybe her parents were forbidding Jenna from seeing her boyfriend anymore, and also mom took her phone. Maybe Jenna was pregnant and she told her parents and that's what the huge argument was about. We just don't know. What I do know is that I think it's heartless and cruel to blame the grieving parents. We don't know all the facts, and we are not owed all the facts. How about some human kindness and compassion for a family who just lost their daughter? RIP Jennaleah, and prayers for the family. 😢😢🙏🙏
Yeah, many teens and adults say that and mean it, clearly. Some don't. Some do. Nothing to do with being a teenager. This isn't how every teen behaves, Every person argues and gets upset, and then people may handle their emotions differently. This doesn't mean the parents were bad lol

@@alisegalterio Why would they bring that up, though? He's not that far for a road trip. If he had a good relationship with her otherwise, there's not really a need to point this out.
@@missmochiicecream I just repeated what I heard in the news clip, I didn't bring anything up.
It costs to travel folks!
So live as far away from your kids you brought into this world as possible. Because that is good parenting. This story shows it. @@Frances-e7x
In my opinion they are more to this girl case than anyone knows about and the police department and FBI needs to dig deep in this they are something else very strange about this girl case
As a community... We need to demand an investigation into the police. I'm OVER being lied to. 🤬
I'm telling you ... the mother and stepfather ARE KEEPING SECRETS .... they had a big argument with her .... she left the house at 7pm... and no one went after her to stop her .... idk I call poor parenting
Poor parenting or just didn’t care enough to go look for her
Most of the time if parents chase after their kids, it makes the situation 10x worse.
This wasn't their first big argument
It is possible he SA'd her before and she snapped
Charge step dad for firearm negligence
Ew disgusting shame of the police department for covering for the step dad he did it we know he did it
the truth is finally out! we will get justice for my niece!🙏🙏🙏
Why did they hide the fact about the suicide note and what the argument was about?

To The Father My Condolences Sir🙏
That step-father failed the family. He's accountable.
My deepest condolences on the loss of your beautiful and precious daughter. May God and His Angels surround you and your family during the most difficult time in your life. My only son was murdered and he was 18. I was numb for months.
Step dad n mom should be investigated
I agree...maybe even the biological father, too.
I am SO SO
SORRY❤....
Oh my gosh....sir...Sorry for your loss..
May God comfort you at this time...
I pray that you get full custody of your next daughter ❤
Wow just wow. I was following this story and now shes dead. Poor girl and poor dad. I had a feeling about those parents when she left everything. 😢
Poor dad? He didn't try to see his daughter for all that time?? Just show up after this tragedy....
POOR DAD HE SAW HER 6 MITHS AGO. AND IF THEY HAD A GOOD HOOD RELATIONSHIP WHY SHE DIDN'T TALKED TO HIM. RIP🌸🌹🌼💐🙏😇🙏
I’m so sorry my prayers and heart go out to this entire family 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Man, I'm sorry. This whole thing is just awful.
I feel so bad for the Dad man, it just tears me being a dad myself
Every parent can feel his pain, I'm hurting bad right now, what a tragedy!!!! Prayers for all involved and especially this beautiful, smart young lady!
Oh my gosh! He needs to get his other daughter out of that house!! The step father needs to be thoroughly investigated! No other man loves YOUR kids!!!! Stop believing that ladies!!!
They need to charge the step father for child endangerment, i dont Care that he's a cop or notv
Damm that is horrible!hope the mom and husband r held accountable for her having access to the gun just as the kids who shoot up school..those parents are in jail for it ..same shit rite!&the mom jus says she's missing..WTF they knew the gun was missing and suicide Note.. omg big difference!!!hope bio Dad gets emergency court order to have custody of daughter still in their home cuz clearly something isn't ok!!
Yep!!!
What in the hell is going on with the stepdad? This seems typical of the broken family courts. This gives me flashbacks to the ridiculous stuff my children were forced dealing with. Thankfully, my kids survived.
The mother and stepdad should go to jail for negligent. How did a underage girl had a gun that's irresponsible and the mom and stepdad should face charges
The stepdad is a cop...
And? @@gerin.6418
Nobody is above the law and he shall be punished regardless.
Agreed
she would’ve took her life another way if she didn’t have a gun so take away all the knives in the house or belts etc 🤦🏽♀️
My condolences to the father and other loved ones.
As a father, I'm trying to be there for my son's as much as I can. I work part time. To tell you the truth, I feel like I do a better job tending to their stuff, at home, but there will never really be that bond that a child will always have with their mom. Losing anyone is harsh. May the Lord ALMIGHTY help them with their broken hearts and soul
From the get go i knew there was more to this story. Poor dad
I think she accused the step dad of something and mum didn't believe her. This dad should get his other daughter because that man did not seem concerned at all during the press conference with the mother
The step dad is a Vegas detective! What was wrong ? how dod she get the gun?
For someone to kill themselves that’s insane she must have been through so much poor girl. The mother disgust me and the stepfather animal.
Another irresponsible gun owner. There was more going on behind those closed doors than just a heated argument.
I lost my stepbrother to suicide, right after he had an argument with his dad. I don't even recall what the argument was about. If you're angry and sad, please reach out to someone you can trust. R.i.p. Jenna
I’m sorry, but it’s his dad’s fault.
Her death is suspicious. I hope dad doesn’t give up investigating
sorry for your pain and loss,my best to you
he didn’t see her for 6 months… I can’t imagine not seeing my kids for a day. It’s a shame he didn’t spend more time with her.
Right. Didn't care for his daughter at all for all those 6 months! And now crying . pathetic!!
@@quitaulla1569you know moms make shit up to keep kids away from fathers right?
If he did he might have been able to find out something was going on.
@@quitaulla1569 your comment is pathetic. Like damn, he can't cry and morn? You see the man pouring out his tear and see the hurt in his face and said it's pathetic he wanna cry now. How you know the mom didn't let the daughter reach out to the dad out of pettiness or the teenager have alot goin on and don't wanna go to the parents?
What I don’t understand is they got into an argument and she left the house. So when did she write the note or get the gun? Something doesn’t add up. My heart breaks for the father. It is true children are not always safest with the mom. Prayers for her dad. Such a sad outcome 😢🙏🏻
That is a good point!
This is heartbreaking to witness. This father needs to fight for his other daughter. Why the hell wasn’t those guns locked up. He is in LE he know’s better. Then she is found only a mile away after 4 days of drones, dogs, people on ATV’s? Something isn’t adding up, a typical teenage fight doesn’t result in this. It had to be something much worse. Praying the father gets answers. ❤
I think the step dad is a sexual abuser. 😢
Heartbreaking. I had been following this and was so hopeful. 😢
So she was sadly found 1 mile away from home yet there was a 10 mile radius search???
I’m so shocked, thought maybe she was murdered by some bad guy she ran into, but now finding out that she actually killed herself at only 17. Very, very sad. What could possibly make a 17-year-old girl kill herself just like that? No matter what it is, the mom is definitely not a good mom.😡
Have you ever heard of sexual abuse??
This is terrible!!! The mom and step dad both beed to be held accountable for her death. Especially the news said they were both in law enforcement and his guns were easily accessible to her!!!!!
There is definitely some issues going on in this home. She must have felt trapped with no way out. The stress level in that home must be high.
What did they do to this girl? Please investigate. Why did they fight and not report the gun missing? Did he want her to take the gun and harm
Herself ? And what will happen w the sister! She must be so alone and devastated please protect her.
I know a friend in
Highschool mistreated like
This by the partner and
She ran away and left so young.
What drove this child to hurt herself? What abuse did she endure? Why was the two people and mother pretending like there wasn’t a suicide note? This is just horrible for actual father and mother? I just don’t trust the step father they need to investigate him more.
You're so focused on the step dad - do you know something we don't? Do you have a personal vendetta against him? Maybe we should investigate you for targeting the step dad. Seems suspicious.
@@missmochiicecreamactually, your comment is the suspicious one. Starting to wonder who you are & why you are trying to divert attention away from the stepfather's weird body language & mother's tearless crying.
How they decide so quick that she was the one who used the gun and not somebody else, who later place her in that spot to stage all and hide his/her crime!?
she got murdered! 😭😭😭
How heartbreaking. Lord, please comfort this grieving father and may Jennaleah find the peace she was looking for in God's loving arms.
This why I staying single mom forever for my 2 kids and other man around my kids.
Why was it reported at first that there were no signs of foul play???
Because suicide isnt murder ..
Because the stepfather is a police officer & they were covering for him.

Her mother and the cop step father both sus. Looks like she chose her husband over her kids that's why she had enough and ran away.

You need to investigate this dad. Something is wrong with all this. Sorry for your lost. If you have another child get custody of her. Don't take any chances. RIP little angel God has you.
Yeaaaaah, that other daughter can’t be living with the mother.
I knew it was because of that stepfather 🤬
The mom seemed to be Acting distraught, while the father is truly expressing grief. I wonder what the real story is here? Why did they withhold info from the father and why "couldn't" he see his daughters? (Busy working, health issues, court order, or the mother prevented it?) Very tragic.
Bullying is worse now than before when I was a minor.
So very sad. Prayers for this family. 🙏🏻
Get custody. now.❤
My heart truly aches for this man 😢. Five years ago Thanksgiving, my cousins eighteen year old son shot himself with the family gun. It's a lot.
Sorry to hear that.. ❤
The only reason we look to blame the family is that in most cases, it's a family member or friend who commits the crime. Stats just don't lie.
You do realize the step dad is law enforcement?
You don't think there's a cover up ?
Or is that too deep to wrap your head around.
Yeah, many teens and adults say that and mean it, clearly. Some don't. Some do. Nothing to do with being a teenager. This isn't how every teen behaves, Every person argues and gets upset, and then people may handle their emotions differently. This doesn't mean the parents were bad lol
@@TheAutumnAcornKnits That's true; however, in this case it was a suicide, not a crime.
@@FallingStar1080 Yes I know he's law enforcement. You do realize that not every person in law enforcement is evil? You don't think sometimes things are what they are, and not a cover up or conspiracy? Or is that too deep to wrap your head around?

Feelings are not facts. Vigilante justice does not rule this country. Allow the facts to be known .It looks like the biological father will find out the truth and carry forth with the case.
