Very respectful and classy response from the show, but no surprise. This is such a top notch show with great people. Prayers and hope for Damar as he continues fighting.
First time Nick has been decent on our Bufalo bills and he still twisted it into this want just a football injury insinuating that some kind of pre existing condition. I don't gate Nick... But he ordinarily gates on our bills glad he put that aside for 1damn day...

Yes we pray for his recovery but since he played for the NFL we know 4 things for sure: 1. He hates police. 2. He's a racist and he hates white men. 3. He worships the BLM idol 4. He's a communist. We know that.
Nick's take is stellar and spot on. Sometimes bad things happen unexpectedly, seemingly without reason, and people want things to make sense so they look to blame someone or something. It's easier to be mad than to deal with the fear that comes with the fact that these things could happen to any one of us. Hug your loved ones often, you never know when life will change. Thoughts and prayers for Damar.
Clearly Nick threw that one point in to save FS1 face a little bit. I don't agree .. there is no shame in blaming or calling out someone for a hypocritical, cynical and insensitive reaction to what happened.. While I wouldn't have been too critical about Skip's tweet. today's Undisputed was such a bad look I cannot get over it. From Jenn's ignorance (finding the whole thing very entertaining for some reason) to Skip's egomaniacal solo takes - talking about No catch game(!), Aaron's arm, the league being scared of Tom. No mention about the charity, player feelings, no thoughts of his own on the matter. Just disgusting.. I lost all the respect for him and the show.
My mom had a heart attack earlier this year…. I gave her CPR for 25 minutes while she was without a pulse until the EMS could reach us to jump start her heart…. She is fully recovered now with no side effects…. I cannot overstate how important it is that people get trained in first aid... My thoughts go out to the family of this young man… sounding like his situation is much worse
What happened to Hamlin was very tragic. With that said, if this was going to happen no better place than an NFL football field with world class medical staffs on site. Quick CPR and defibrillation has gotten him to at least the ICU and better chance for survival.
You should be incredibly proud of yourself for knowing or believing or having hope that you were still doing a great thing even if it may have started feeling hopeless. 25 minutes is a long time and takes incredible stamina. I recently read a study covering tens of thousands of patients that received CPR for ~30 minutes. 74% of the surviving patients (most were elderly) had minimal to no anoxic brain injury. Keep that in mind for anyone on the fence about taking a CPR class. Last thought, if you're interested in a CPR class, you can take it a small step further and get a BLS certification. It takes about an hour or so and your employer would be a fool not to cover the cost for you (mine was $75). In addition to CPR, BLS will also teach AED use, basic ventilation device management, multirescuer CPR protocol and foreign body removal (heimlich/choking) for adults AND infants.
Man, Nick hit it out of the park. People want to make sense of things sometimes you just can’t make sense of. As someone who actually performs heart surgery and understands the complexities of the heart. I’ll say that Nick put the nail on the head. But he’s forgetting one thing. This was bound to happen eventually. It’s a statistics game most likely the impact to his chest causes a dysrhythmia leading to cardiac arrest. Most likely he will make a full recovery if that is the case. But when you’re playing this sport, and literally hitting each other at trauamatic speeds, injuries will happen. One day someone’s going to tear their aorta on the field, it’s unfortunate but statistically these things will happen when you’re colliding with each other at these speeds
That was a great, compassionate, thoughtful segment, I thank you guys. My thoughts and heart go out to Damar and his family and friends. I hope he pulls through with the ability to enjoy life, if not continue playing.

And Nick nailed it, the part about "looking for villains" I thought was SO TRUE.

I'm 51 been watching football like forever seen terrible things but as soon as this young man dropped back down I cried immediately bcuz this was not football related. Prayers for Damar. Recover soon young man.
It’s amazing that thousands of comments yesterday expressed concern about a very different cause of this inexplicable football related cause but today it has been wiped off. 💉
Nick is 100% spot on! Just came from a Pat McAfee video and was kind of annoyed that he lobbied for the person who said take 5 minutes to be fired... and I was like why are we doing this bs. THANK YOU NICK
This was the best take (& one of the only good ones that I've seen at all) regarding this tragedy. Pray for Hamlin, his family & friends. If you have negative or angry emotions (at all), bite your tongue, don't send that tweet or make that comment. Hamlin needs positivity right now as does his family, friends, & teammates.
When I was in basic training at Fort Knox in 2010, a guy had a rare a heart condition that they didn’t catch you when he joined. One night he got woken up for firewatch and collapsed a few moments later, they gave him CPR until the ambulance came, but he was pronounced dead shortly after they got there. Demar might be lucky because he had highly trained professionals and got CPR done immediately, so I think he will pull through but not sure if he will recover fully
I happened to stumble upon this shows youtube about a month ago and really enjoyed the videos. I really don't watch any cable TV shows because they really just bore me. So it is no surprise that even their take on this entire situation resonated with me. Also side note, thr second guy from the left (sorry I don't know his name). Is a real one. Being able to put yourself in others shoes even if you don't necessarily see things their way is tough to do for a lot of folks. Not only that, his message was on point and I do hope more people can sit back and think about the bigger picture.
Thank you Nick for saying those things about not being religious. I'm the same way and often feel envious of those who have a higher power to pray and lean onto during difficult times. It was really nice to hear somebody, especially from the sports world of all places, to validate that feeling.
God bless y’all. We all have different journeys in life that lead us down different roads. Never forget Jesus is always there no matter what. It’s truly that simple. Remember you’re getting better and better everyday in every way! Blessings gentleman
This was a great conversation. I think the NFL did the right thing by stopping the game. There's no way these guys could've played competently after watching their teammate go down in a literal fight for his life. Kudos to the league for recognizing that life is more important than a game.
💯 with Chris Broussard. I didn’t even want to watch football. I couldn’t imagine being a player and getting back on the field. Be with the people you love.
Sorry for your loss Brou. My dad is currently fighting stage four cancer and it's tough. All I can do is pray for the best and cherish every day I spend with him.
I believe Damar has to be a special person, far beyond we can understand. Hearing Damar's story, I understand why he is so beloved. This one man has opened up the heavens and sent waves of prayers, millions of dollars of donations to his charity and other charities in his name. GD please keep his safe and comfortable and keep him on this earth. Damar - We're praying hard. Be strong.
Way back when in 2006 i saw a kid drop just like damar did to a lacrosse stick check to the heart in high school in between heart beats. It’s more so a timing thing not a force thing. Unfortunately he wasn’t lucky enough to have a defib there. After that happened though there always had to be a defibrillator at any game atleast in New York. Praying for Damar and his family. From following the bills he’s a great kid.
Well said by every one of you guys. Particularly, with Nick I truly appreciate the respect you showed for those of us who are religious and understanding why prayer is so so important.
God bless you Damar!!! I prayed for you last night when this happened and I know God will bring you out of this. To all your family bro be positive and have faith because as always God has the last say 🙏🙏💯
A lot of genuine KINDNESS was shown last night. If he survives, we will certainly witness a true MIRACLE! Maybe each person will search their own hearts. This was real.
Well said. Like Nick I’m not religious and couldn’t help feel how it could happen to such a young kind man. Hopefully we get some good news soon. Complete shock to the system and helped me remember that football is just a game at the end of the day, it’s nothing compared to this young man’s life
I watch TV a lot and there is a commercial about children born with severe disabilities and they praise this hospital for making their life more normal and bearable. So please donate. Only when we close our eyes do we not realize that anything can happen to anyone good or bad at any time
I place my faith not necessarily in a higher power, but in people, not much of a religious person myself. I’m not one to believe anything happens for “a reason” aside from the facts of the matter, when people say that to say that something can only be explained due to fate or mysterious ways, is something I totally reject because that’s not how I believe that phrase to be and mean. I don’t and can’t believe what happened yesterday should’ve happened to him, but I do believe and try to search and understand why it happened, and in that people can come together to wish the best for this person. I hope and also believe he’ll make it through this horrible event, thanks to the actions of the medical personnel on the field that night, here’s hoping for his recovery🫡
Very respectful and classy response from the show, but no surprise. This is such a top notch show with great people. Prayers and hope for Damar as he continues fighting.

Complete and total class act gentlemen.
Prayers for Damar.
Condolences to you Chris. Prayers to you and your family as well 🙏🏿🙏🏿
WE LOVE YOU BREW!! Wasn’t the same show without you there, prayers to you and your family 😢
I’m sorry Chris. My thoughts are with you and your family.
By far the best response I’ve seen. This was always my favorite show but it just solidified it even more!
My condolences on the passing of your father Bru.... prayers up for Damar
Prayers for Damar and his family. I love seeing people coming together displaying acts of kindness on so many levels.
Just went through sudden unexplained tragedy myself. We lost my father with no warning on 9 November 2022. We’ve gotta remember and uplift everybody.
Sorry for your loss
🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 for you and your family
That was a great, compassionate, thoughtful segment, I thank you guys. My thoughts and heart go out to Damar and his family and friends. I hope he pulls through with the ability to enjoy life, if not continue playing.
Praying for this young man!! 🙏🏼 And his family!🙏🏼
I'm not religious by any means, never have been, but I was on my knees in my living room with the rest of my buffalo bills team last night and I prayed for this kid right along with them. Truly heartbreaking, still praying that he pulls through this and can carry on the rest of his hopefully long and wonderful life. As a bills fan I hate Nick Wright, but nothing but respect for him, bru and wildes for this.
I hate to be this guy man but if you haven’t been baptized then unfortunately you’re praying to essentially a brick wall! God loves us all, but God does have a wrath!
@@howarddickersonjr.6994 hate to be that guy but god is not real and he even if he was he does not care about you me or anyone else also how could he be loving and have a wrath at the same time does not make sense.
Hats off to the Cincinnati fans for the display of compassion they showed through out this ordeal. The quiet respect they showed was a loud testament to what being a "class act" is all about.
My thoughts and prayers to Damar and his family.
Been a really rough season for buffalo. Dawson Knoxs brother, Dane Jackson got pulled out in an ambo the snow storm and all the other injuries.
Nick your takes are sometimes over the top, but your human personality has me subscribed to both your shows, and I'm gonna look for Broussards show, my condolences to his late father

My man Nick about to become a man of faith
Amen let’s pray for it!
I can't explain it but I feel so strongly that he is going to pull through. I keep telling him to keep fighting in my mind and praying off and on during the day.
I have listened to a lot of analysis talk about this and this was total class and well done.
Prayers up🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Sending prayers to Damar Hamlin and his family
Useless
@@jeanious2009 what do you mean useless
Hamlin and Chris are in my prayers ❤️🙏🏾
Sorry for your loss CB. Praying for you and your family as well as for Damar and his family. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Wow, Nick was very transparent. Bravo.
Been breaking down crying off and on throughout the day thinking of him really hoping Damar has a full healthy recovery ❤
Surprises me sometimes how well these guys mesh together. Great job covering this situation
That's why Nick is the best in my opinion. All day I was waiting for someone to say SOMETHING, other than "So sad, I'm shocked, thoughts and prayers ect", and I thought what would I say, in this woke/cancel world where you can't really speak. And Nick nailed it, the part about "looking for villains" I thought was SO TRUE.
Well the woke found their victim. Skip..is enemy 1 ..
The good thing is how rare this is. People didn't know what to do because this hasn't happened in 50 years.
My deepest prayers and sympathy for Damar Hamlin and his family, and hoping he makes a full recovery. Buffalo really needs him!
Sensitive, class, authentic & human. We’re all brothers at the end of the day. We all want our team to win. We laugh. We celebrate. And sometimes we hurt a little, cry a little. Today we support you, Brou, and most certainly, Demar. Well said everyone!
Rip Brous dad
24 years old though.... we got to be careful about our health, anything can happen and this should be a wake up call for everyone
I hope he make it through from this
I was a kid when Chuck Hughes had a heart attack and became the only NFL player to ever die on the field, and you never forget that stuff
he had a serious heart condition that had gone undiagnosed. this is not normal pre-2020
I remember when Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest mid-game in the 2021 Euros when Denmark was playing Finland. It’s always scary to see. Praying that Hamlin has a full recovery like Eriksen did.
I am Sending Prayers to Chris and Damar!!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm 51 been watching football like forever seen terrible things but as soon as this young man dropped back down I cried immediately bcuz this was not football related. Prayers for Damar. Recover soon young man.
It’s amazing that thousands of comments yesterday expressed concern about a very different cause of this inexplicable football related cause but today it has been wiped off. 💉
Very well said Guys! Praying for Damar and your family Chris!
Nick Wright is a rising star. This take shows that not only can he be funny and sarcastic, but he can be sincere and serious. Well said Nick!
Nick’s commentary was much needed.
Sorry to hear about your loss, Mr. Broussard. 🙏
Been praying for this guy ever since I heard
Thank you Nick for saying those things about not being religious. I'm the same way and often feel envious of those who have a higher power to pray and lean onto during difficult times. It was really nice to hear somebody, especially from the sports world of all places, to validate that feeling.
Exactly wanted I wanted to say as well. I don’t usually love nicks takes on things, but here he was spot on.
As I understood it the NFL wanted to resume the game but players refused to...
@@JohnDoe-bw3tz That may be, but if that is the case, they at least listened to the player's concerns and made the right decision in the end.
💯 with Chris Broussard. I didn’t even want to watch football. I couldn’t imagine being a player and getting back on the field. Be with the people you love.
My prayers are with Damar and his family👏🏼.
Wow nicks comment about regular people going through the same thing without all the support, and being more compassionate every day. Love that.
Love u Chris Broussard, sorry about your pops
Sorry for your loss Brou. My dad is currently fighting stage four cancer and it's tough. All I can do is pray for the best and cherish every day I spend with him.
Prayers to Damar,The Hamlin Family and My Buffalo Bills Family... We're all in this together..
Well, it was not Commotio Cordis. The shoulder pads extend down the chest far enough to protect the area that must be hit to cause that kind of event.
Be strong.
i went through this in December with my brother and then my Pasteur. prayers for him
Way back when in 2006 i saw a kid drop just like damar did to a lacrosse stick check to the heart in high school in between heart beats.
So sorry to hear for your loss Chris and anybody else going through this
What a class group of men.
