Recently saw a vid from beasty where he argued that meinwork can be better for ffa since you’ll get exclusive upgrades that help with the whole game, whereas aachan can be replaced with a couple prelates. Then another vid from drongo where he said something similar.

As always, someone screws around instead of responding to wonder, wonder wins. How on earth have people not gotten it yet? It happens every single time. If everyone doesn't respond to wonder immediately, or especially if they attack each other, the wonder players wins.
To be fair, he built a very strong defense in a chokepoint. Not easy to get in there to stop it even if everyone was cooperating. Still, that was a hell of a rush to watch.

seriously there should be some backlash effect when a wonder dies which does dmg depending on how much dmg you did to that player, so if you did 0 everything you own just dies with the wonder, if you did 30+% you don't get dmged t all

Dragon or Daagon? Also either way it makes sense to let others sacrifice themselves for you strategically, but it does create the issue of trust for future games where you know you can’t trust certain players.
@@DandyDragon1 Daagon. He threw the game hard. Not only didn't really help with the Wonder, but actively helped the Wonder player win. Almost every single FFA someone Wonders, someone screws around and doesn't respond immediately or even worse fights the players that are, and the wonder player wins.
@@camroth89 While it was definitely a mistake it did make sense. Daagon was well aware of fact I was farming resources heavily through the game and thus had a massive bank to wonder myself as soon as other wonder was going down. If he had waited just a few more minutes it would have worked extremely well as Allied and I were just about to be in treb range of wonder and merely needed to destroy one last army together.
@@DandyDragon1 It just never works out in the dozens and dozens of examples we've seen so far. People have to prioritize the active wonder or at the very, very least not interfere with those who are, or the wonder player wins. Happens every time Turin streams.
I got unreasonably upset when it turned out that guy was cheating. Turin it´s such a good sport, too.

Yeah unfortunately it is notoriously easy and common for players in china to cheat especially. Names that have Chinese characters are always suspicious to me in any game. This is a thing that is widely known and even is true in large esports events with players from China, like CSGO, so its not to hate on china or Chinese players. Its just a fact that an unfortunately large number of them cheat :/

Yes!
Two big things was a cost increase, and burning oil only hits a couple units so now siege isn’t required to kill keeps.
It's sad that the heat has made it impossible for me to watch your streams since they are too late, especially when I used to always catch them live. But now I get to wake up and listen to it in parts over the course of the day.
When the temp cools we will get live Turin again.
Fear not, we'll be back to early streams in a month or two!

Welp that's why I don't like FFA in anything other than maybe an FPS like Halo. Seems like whoever can avoid combat the longest has the upper hand also too easy to get trolled. For instance I don't know if blue actually attacked yellow while there was a wonder on the map or not but let's say green and blue didn't feel like they were gonna win blue attacks yellow and green attacks you to just let red win wonder and you just played a 2 hour game to get kucked by salty boys. Clearly yellow had some sort of an issue with blue cause he called him out for throwing some point.

Literally half of the first ffa Turin was the only one at war..... The other 4 players had a truce...... there should be a rule where you have to attack your neighbor

Always love the FFA's. Great to see you doing a few 1v1's too, your ability to talk through what you're doing as you're playing helped me learn a lot about the game :). I wouldn't worry too much about the map hack, it's been around since the game released. It's easy to see on replay if someone was using it or not (their camera will be way zoomed out and they'll always be looking into fog of war), I rarely come across it on the ladder though
