A while ago I had posted a thread about treating the cow landmark like it was a VERY large, very efficient cattle ranch because the influence mechanic is easily countered and players are naturally going to trend to be too scared to use it even if it is a solid landmark on paper that just needs stone walls. Making the landmark act like a 10 big ranch fortifies some of your cattle so the mechanics safer to use. IE: Acts like a big mill, can train cattle. Garrisons 10 cattle instead of 3. Raises cattle population cap by 10 to a grand total of 30 cows. Cattle in the foolani corral give 10 to 20 extra food (12 for current gather rate with all 30 cows, 20 for buff to the landmark. 28-40 if you remove the extra cattle cap bonus .) No longer has an influence radius or give an influence effect (Or influence does something minor like repair ranches.) That way the first 10 cows are substantially more protected, and the normal ranch mechanics are still in play. Burning down the ranches no longer has the cheeky effect of ruining the influence area so players can put cattle ranches down where cattle ranches are convenient. That way there are really 3 cattle plays. - Just use cattle under the TC like you do now. - 10 in the garrison then the old strategy of just harvesting under the TC. (Out-resources the Farimba garrison, but not to an overpowered degree.) - 10 in the garrison, 18-20 in ranches, 0-2 being harvested under the TC. So the why is: - It makes the landmark more immediately useful (It provides a few hundred wood of ranch space and a mill, makes the economy of the first few garrisoned cattle simply better.) - Feed a wider variety of strategies.
Malian trade and the Farimba are so strong I can't help but think DeMuslim lost it by ignoring the Malian's key strengths. Beasty went for a big trade boom in the end too as you can see in the mini map.
Hands down, Drongo is one of, if not, the best casters. The emotions you portray are awesome and build suspense onto the game. Also the recommendations are great for countering / strategic moves are good nuggets. Oh, also, great match!

The cow corpse issue is so ridiculous for the Grand Fulani Corral. I feel like it would be so easily fixed if the Warrior Scouts could pick up cow corpses.
Don Quijote is a fictional character written by Miguel de Cervantes. He is a lesser nobelman finantialy broke, gone a bit mad reading about knightly adventures from days gone. He goes out to emulate his heroes with hilarious consecuences, like fighting windmills that he mistakes for giants, his proud steed is a malnourished plow horse and his armour made of scrap and cardboard. Is an amazing satire to the literary trends of the time, fill with easter eggs. Very fitting for an AOE 4 name xDD and so good DeMu appreciating spanish literature. The writer´s life wasn´t much less crazy either. The dude went to jail for embezzling in like 1600 or so, fought in a terrifying battle against the Ottomans, lost an arm and survived slavery in northen Africa. What did you do today right?
i would love to see grand fulgani corral get same treatment as ac chappel and be a resourse drop point too as cattle get bonus food just near corral no need to be in ranch
Drongo I don't know if you are in control of the player colors or not but the yellow/green/orange it always seems to be can make it really challenging to distinguish for me and presumably other colorblind folk
@aussie_drongo - Malians don't get Incendiary arrows because they get Precision Training instead. Same +2 to archers but also gives +6 to donso javs, and half cost too!

Ottomans do not have culverines and why do only ottoman bombards have splash? I get that it’s a game but I think it makes sense that it has even a small splash. And the only use of bombards are for breaking walls or towers/keeps. If I’m paying that much for a unit, I want it to kill units and not just walls. Isn’t it weird even in a game that 10 villagers can run towards a cannon and only one dies even if the shell hits the middle villy in the face while being shoulder to shoulder?
The game looks 'wonky', i'll wait another year when all glitches, bugs and op strategies got buffed and the game has been had expansions and dlc added.Then i'll consider.
It's decent defensively if you have musofadi. You get first strike and if you get the healing upgrade for them they'll heal automatically near the fort. But if you're going to spam Sofa it's not ideal.
the level of walling is sickening for a competitive game, this is really bad design. i really like aoe4, but they need to sort this out again. another wall nerf/siege buff
If siege needs anything its nerf. Siegedeathballs are braindead and ugly af, there should be more incentive towards unit counters and those should be more effective. I'm all in on the wall nerf/buff, make them more durable, less repairable, take longer to build and limit them either in range from your landmarks or total quantity for stone walls.

Sometimes I think these levels can only be reached by the old legendary SC2 players.
