Does somebody know what midi channel I should set on a hardware synth to control it with the gameboy via the teensyboy on master mode?
So could you use the Teensyboy Pro with something like a MIDI keyboard to control LSDJ on a gameboy to play any given note in realtime? Or would you only be able to trigger certain pre-defined sequences of notes via MIDI?
Jimmy Gray yep! I'll be covering that in a future video, using mGB rather than LSDJ.
Ty got my circuit synced with gb but how do I sequence my game using circuit could you tell me how that’s fone please would appreciate it :)
I don't have a Circuit anymore so can't give you a step by step. If you're using LSDJ, you can only trigger patterns and sync via MIDI. If you use mGB (see my other teensyboy video) all you need to do is make sure the output channel on the Circuit matches the input channel on mGB.
