As a busy dad who loves to learn the F16 but never has enough time to dive deep, thank you for these tutorials. The issue I have with most of these other UA-cam tutorials is that a lot of aviation terms are referenced in regards to navigation which I don't know much of so hearing and seeing the absolute basics and step by step of these tutorials is awesome. Keep it up! 👍
I've gone ahead and liked all your video's and subbed. This is great content, short and clear. Saves a ton of time trying to figure it out myself or watch 10x30min videos. Just keep them coming, any DCS F16 video's will be appreciated :).
I've recently come across your channel. Really concise content. Out of curiosity, what was the reason for going to DTOS mode first, was that just so you could slew the TGP around and create mark points?
Hm, in Falcon BMS the SA-10 will shoot you down, before you reach their position. Latest if the F-16 starts to climb... I am note sure if this is realistic what you see here.
And the sam sites such as the Grumble are always enterwined with several layers of short to medium range sams. The PvE server I play on always has at least some SA-15 or SA-8 surrounding the Grumble perimeter, with kniving scripts that make sure they activate their radar only once they know you're in their killzone.
@@qenyaithandrill7848 Yeah that depends on the player but even if so, SA-8's and 15's are too easy to get away from, on Su-25T you just turn on IR jammer pop some flares might not even need to dodge it, with F-16's give a bit of G's and missile is not a concern anymore.
the SA-10 or any other SAM site should support by SHORAD in 5 nmi radius further to the site, the SA-10 usually support by at least two SA-15! the SA-10 is strategic SAM site hence it will not be close to the border unless for some specific situation, you cant really get that close to the site to drop CBU-97 or 105 !

you have to be the most informative f-16 tutorial maker on the planet, did you actually do some military flying?
Thanks for subscribing! No military experience. I do fly for a living, however my flying background is all civilian.
@@FLYGaffer Do you fly commercial? Your videos are great and informative 👍👍👍
Imagine being in those buildings hearing an f16 zip 100’ over your head going super sonic lol
Your channel is massively underrated. Good tutorials … needs more love
Really like these videos...Can you make a series on AA and AG tactics?
Yep, well done, Maverick would be proud.
I recognize knowledge whan I see it ... subscribed.
Thank you man & keep it up
Great video! What is your thought process when deciding on the burst altitude for the CBUs?
So nice to watch you guys who knows what you are doing! Looks so cool. 👍
Siiiiiick video. Im new to DCS, like two weeks in, and i've started with the viper. This A-G stuff seems so complicated.
thanks for the video
Outstanding job , it appears that the SAM site was painting you at 2000ft ? I didn't see any contrails but your warning system was active. Good video
I love air to ground Combat ❤ Great video 👍👍👍

I have the same question!
A deeper dive into the A/G targeting is planned in a future video. Thanks!
@@FLYGaffer How do go get the muntions to spread so much I can’t seem to do it?
excellent
Great video! How many attempts before "Great Success!"?

AA's are not as nearly as powerful in DCS especially counting that he has time for CCIP delivery instead of Toss, DCS was never realistic.

I'd bet a retirement check I can get it done. Gaffer taught me how to weasel, shit works like he shows it.
you're pulling like 8g turns with AG stores on, I dont know if that should be a thing.
He wasn't in cat-3 it seems.
how or why do u select 2200ft ? i mean how u estimate that! Thanks and nice video
Search pop up strike. There's a lot of literature about the technique.
